@@detectingpa8968 yes I believe so. I have one identical, my research keeps calling it vintage, not antique. Hoping to find a site calling it antique 😂
Oh heck yeah!!! Shawn with the GOLD! Definitely gold is has a goldsmith hallmark! Congratulations our friend! Love that old dog tag and the hinge is from an old wooden ruler, we have found those at old homesites too. C’mon Shawn you won’t take a swig out of that awesome little bottle? Another great episode!
💥💥💥💥@ 7:06 The gold ring. That must have been hitting a solid 73-75 on the D2? Shawn, that ring was already broken. You extracted it just like anybody else would have. I hit seven gold rings in the last year. One of them had a single split crack across the band, which is why they probably lost it. Gold, spoons, V-nickel. That’s a great day!! Congratulations! Thought I saw a V-Pen somewhere in this vid??
That was masterful!!!!!!! Shawn 🔥🔥🔥 That had to be gold, Congratulations 💥💥💥 Absolutely amazing relics in the middle of the woods!!!!!!!😳The bottle with liquid so cool!!! Thank you, Shawn 💖
Congrats Shawn! Nice find! Oh...I didn't know he scored a 1923 class ring...that's about the same place I lost mine back in '28. I can ID it if you need...so glad you found it for me. 😉
Glad you’re here! Thanks for the sub and the comment. We love reading the weekly comments. Also appreciate the feedback. It reinforces that we are doing something right. 😁
Nice video I especially enjoyed the information shared on how you guys have previously pounded the site with the specific names of the other machines. This helps us when we are thinking about purchasing our next machine. Since using the Deus2 why aren’t you guys using the XP MI 6 pin pointer that pairs with the machine? I think it would be great if you guys did a few segments on your equipment and why you use them compared to the other stuff out there. I’m after a new pinpointer, XP MI4 or Garrett Carrot?. Any way great video I just wish they were at the 30 mark but know you guys have a busy life thank you for sharing. ✌🏻
We have considered doing reviews on things but it’s not really what our channel is about. Maybe further down the line we will. Not completely ruled out. We also try and get our episodes to the 30 minute mark but it’s essentially decided by what we find at these sites. The way we edit our videos also affects the lengths of our hunts. We cut out a lot of un-needed clips, etc.
@@detectingpa8968 understand time wise, regarding detector and accessories reviews your thoughts and opinions would go a LONG way. Hope you guys end up reviewing and sharing thoughts. Have a nice evening.
Yeah, the battery changing is a pain sometimes. Another thing to worry about taking along with us. But the battery seems to last a long time in the carrots.
Only in my opinion, you did not break the ring. It appeared to be broken by the ground inside it freezing, probably many times, sort of like a water pipe bursting due to freezing. And it surely looked like gold, of course you will already know by now. I really liked this episode because your finds definitely dated the site(s). Great job!
Best discovery guys ...Thank you for sharing this video ...Good luck ...Greeting from Indonesian traditional gold prospecting 🇮🇩⚒️⛏️💎😍😍👍

Thanks for your service Sir! We might be able to make that happen some day!
I believe the piece with the hash marks is a hinge to a folding wooden ruler. Love the video's.
Do you believe it would be a piece that was used at the turn of the century? 1900-ish?
@@detectingpa8968 yes I believe so. I have one identical, my research keeps calling it vintage, not antique. Hoping to find a site calling it antique 😂
Thanks. Just wanted to confirm that it could have been used at the sawmill. Makes the piece a keeper rather than a tosser lol
The rulers I have seen like the piece you found was only 24” long.
Greatv piano music there friend!!!
Been playing for 38 years.
Always nice coming along.

7 gold rings!?! Wow! And yes you did eagle eye! Haha sometimes I forget I’m holding it.
Great hunt, Shawn! Congrats on the gold ring!
Thanks Chad. The monkey is finally off my back! Now it moves to finding a gold coin. 😂
Awesome gold ring in the middle of nowhere. That river looked real trouty
Haha thanks Susan! I’m sure the springtime has that very “trouty” (I’m going to steal that word by the way). Not many trout in there right now.
Gold?😳Watching now guys... 💖💖
Always glad to have you back every week!

Congrats on the gold ring - tremendous find!
Appreciate it. Definitely at the top of everything I’ve found.
Awesome hunt!
Thanks! It definitely was.
Congratulations on your gold ring. The spoon was very nice.
Thanks! If only every site would have gold in it. lol
Great job on the gold! Cool hunt! The deus 2 is a sweet machine for sure!
Thanks! And it sure is. We love our Deus2’s!
Great camera work. You must also be using a drone too.
Definately a hinge for a carpenters rule
Good job lonewolf! Looks like gold to me. Rk.
Thanks. Appreciate it!
Nice video !
Thanks! Appreciate it!
The find after the dog tag is the hinge to a measuring stick
Great find since I was at a saw mill site. 😁
Ahh shucks. I saw the river and thought maybe a gold nugget. ✨️ 😊
Someday….. haha
Nice video and finds, Subbed :)

I think we are just so stuck on the carrot. Haha. Scared of change maybe? We considered the other pinpointer but that carrot is tried and true.

I think I’m gonna try the XPMI4 because of the recharging capability I let ya know.

I love your videos❤❤
Thanks Mrs. Dunn! We appreciate it! 😁
Looks like a bottle for bug repellent. Nice gold score!
Might be! Goes along with the other teens and 20’s items! And would make sense that it could have been a swimming hole after the sawmill was gone.

You’re right. It definitely had a few fractures. I still shouldn’t have used my thumb (too large) to push the dirt out. Rookie mistake! 😂
That’s cool. My family is originally from Kittanning

Lol. Gerry would take a swig off that bottle.
You’re right. He’s done it before. 😂
@@detectingpa8968 he sure had. Also washing coins in his mouth. Lol
im here cause last week you gave me luck found my first silver spoon thank you . Good luck to you
And now you’ll find some GOLD! 😁
im still hunting them woods.lol Good luck to you.@@detectingpa8968
its a gold plated ring
Spoons are probably the item I damage most. I’ve gotten better at iding them and digging around.
Just don’t cut the pewter or silver spoons and you’ll be good! lol
Armstrong County dog tag ????
Yes sir! That’s the county we reside in.
Old swimming hole
We are thinking that was the case after the sawmill was out of operation.
No way your gonna find everything with those bushy conditions, never hunted out
That’s the only downside to hunting forest home sites. There’s always brush or fallen logs all over. 😪 Gotta leave some for future detectorists lol
