Wow you guys got sponsored by pomoly! Congrats! And a shot Buffalo! How incredible! I hope we find a shot coin some day! That little tent stove is soooo cool! Love seeing you guys talking to the PA Relic Hunters, so awesome! We love Rich and Dave! Your adventures are awesome and we are jealous!
Thanks guys, it was a blast and the Hot Tent is awesome. Can’t wait to see you guys out there too! Snow has to be getting pretty deep up there. Spring will be here before we know it.
Watching again.
Im still blown away at this adventure. ❤❤❤
Yayyyyyy! Glad you enjoyed it!
Great find nickel
Thanks!
Nalgene bottle with boiling water right before you go to bed put it in the bottom of the sleeping bag with lid on tight and toasty toes all night long. Good to see you guys back together this week and awesome finds as usual
Have one in my Amazon cart! I took a bottle with me, but it’s old and it leaked. Glad I tested it first though! Lol
@detectingpa8968 for sure, it's no fun when you have wet feet
Wow!!! I think I could live there 👍😆...
Thanks!!! Another amazing adventure!!!😊❤
Thank you. We appreciate that!
Awesome finds and adventure!
Thanks! More winter tent camping coming!
Oh Boy!!!!!!! Watching now guys...💖💖
Winter camping is the best! Glad you had a good time---I surely enjoyed it. The "holed" Buff is very cool and harder than it looks.
Winter camping is amazing if you have the right gear. The cut off for comfort without the hot tent is about the temp it was that night.
Really great video, I watch your channel all the time and enjoy them all. Great adventure and good finds.
Thanks Kerry for the support! It was a fun one! Hopefully we can get out again soon!
Very very cool, making some awesome memories
That’s what it’s all about! 😁
You guys are great. you’re like two kids. having a good time and doing what you like. thank you for the great adventure.
Getting out in the woods makes ya feel like a kid again!
Omg this video made me so nervous that someone would get burned. You guys are so much fun to watch. Keep the videos coming.
We are known for exploding fires. 😂
I use to do a lot of Wilderness camping… I truly enjoy your videos.. it brings back fond memories of my once adventurous days as a young man. Now I’m lazy, I just do metal detecting, lol😊
Just camp along the road in the woods Charlie! lol. We need to get you in a hot tent in a western PA visit! 😁
Wait until you see this Saturdays episode! The stuff we find!
this is Awesome guys . Thank you for the time you put into these videos.
Absolutely. We enjoy filming almost as much as everything else. Hopefully that shows.
Hey Jerry. As a person who grew up in straight up rural America I have shot plenty of coins. Its done by placing the coin on top of the barrel with the gun standing straight up and down balancing the coin till you can lift your rifle high enough to pull the trigger and reason being this was done was for the cool sound the coin makes as it spins through the air. If someone laid that nickel on those rocks or in the dirt you would never find it again after the shot just like when shooting it off the end of the barrel. Gone!
Nice! Never knew that. Your comment is why we love getting comments! We are always learning things. Appreciate the info!
Awesome video guys. That nickel if of the charts!
Thanks Mike! It was a great save for sure!
Great video
Thanks!
I was in boy scouts, got my Eagle Scout, reminds me of winter survival camping. Cool little stove. Is the tent and shove a combo deal? Thanks for sharing. Also great coin save.
The stove and tent are purchased separately. There are different sizes of each. You are able to mix and match that way. Lots of options. Thanks for watching and glad to have ya here!
I really enjoyed that guys. It looked like so much fun!!
Thanks Jerry!
I wanna be with you guys!!!
Bed ridden but, not my eyes!!!! Thank you for the adventures....
Glad we could take you along in a sense. That’s how we want you all to feel!
Nice job guys👍🤓👍. Might as well camp, give ya more detecting time. The hot tent n stove is awesome 👍
That was my thoughts as well. We won’t be rushed around to leave the site as quickly.
Awesome adventure, Guys! That shot Buff is definitely the find of the day - sorry Shawn! Awesome IHP as well.
Thanks Chad! It was a little different! Hope we can get out for another one soon!
What a wonderful way to start the weekend! Are you sharing your recipe? Sure looked good!
Thanks, guys.
Jerry will have to share that. It’s a type of stew. He may have just been winging it. Lol
Did you find anything on the grassy knoll? 😂😂😂. Great episode guys
😂😂 nothing found on the grassy knoll.
Wow guys, just amazing; the filming, editing, music choice, and of course the content all stellar!!!!!!! Bravo!!! to you both and thank you for theses epic adventures. That shot buff & shell casing is an amazing find, and display piece, Congratulations!!! Jerry. Thank you so much, Jerry & Shawn💖💖
Thanks Mona! And as always, thanks for tuning in!
One heck of an adventure! Congrats on the old Coins. Take care.
Thanks! The hot tents are going to open up all new possibilities for us!
Have always enjoyed your guy's camera work- what kind of camera are you sporting?
Wish we could say we have amazing camera gear but we film with just our iPhones.
@@detectingpa8968in that case- awesome job! I'm doing ok with my Pixel 7 thinking about getting an SLR. I think Green Mountain Metal Detecting uses an SLR and his camera work is great too. Great videos- thanks for sharing.
You could also do the buddy system 😅😅
😂😂😂😂
Another great video guys each video gets better and better. That coin and casing is going to make an awesome display piece.
Thanks as always! We enjoy seeing people returning each week and commenting! Thanks for the support!!
Very cool adventure I have been saying for years I want to go down along the river and sleep under the stars like they did way back in the day during the summer of course lol so the hot tent didn’t have a floor that sealed I bet a lot of heat was lost that way but still very cool n nice finds as well God Bless and happy dirt fishin…Virgil
There is a floor liner. We just didn’t bring it along as the packs were already super heavy. lol.
Sound of water was wonderful. Are you using solar charger for your phones, etc. Changing socks wet from perspiration? Was sorta concerned about body over heating and then temp going down with possible hypothermia occurring. Was that venison stew?😊
We do use power banks for charging things at the sites. We recharge them prior to going. You can usually charge a phone fully 3 times before depleting the bank.
Good eye as well on the venison stew! That it was!
Great place to camp and detect are there any fish there i enjoyed the video
No native trout. Further down stream there would be stocked trout but slim pickings this deep into winter. I’m sure you could find some suckers in there in the deep spots though.
💥💥💥💥💥A truly epic adventure that delivers from start to finish. Everything from the opening scene, to closing with a vanish walk out frame right. You guys have the magic eye. You’ve turned a corner here, transitioning from videos to episodes. Winter camping, cooking, and metal detecting with the amazing bullet hole Buffalo nickel find. Your hike-in sequences, framing, and transitions are breaking into studio quality. The transition @1:06 went out of the park and onto Lansdowne Street. I know it takes a lot of time and effort to set up these shots, but you guys are going places, no doubt. Simply outstanding. I sent you an email. check your spam folder.
Thanks Lee! Sorry we missed it. I will check now. It’s nice to see our efforts are going noticed! Thanks again!! We always enjoy reading your comment!
Too cold to metal detect where I am it’s 16 degrees next week I’ll be able again I hope
We have found the ground is still thawed under the leaves. Snow also insulates the ground.
I enjoyed. Nice little wood burner in a tent. The cutest little wood burner ive ever seen! Not!
It’s actually quite crazy how much heat that little stove put out. Gotta keep them small for weight and packability when hiking longer distances. Every ounce counts.
