You guys are AWESOME! I need a Shawn or Jerry to help with research, narration or mapping a route. Mason just isn’t cutting it, but he is only 10! Your videos are top notch! Love finding those old pocket knives! Holy crap is your vegetation thick! You need a scythe blade like they used in the 1800’s to clear all those tall weeds! Beautiful pocket watch and I always love finding a beautiful barrel tap! It’s cute how much Jerry always worries about where Shawn is, I do the same with Mason🙃. Broach is awesome! Great video guys, we always look forward to your content!
Wow, that was amazing guys!!! That headboard is incredible; somebody slept in that bed 🤯Too bad you couldn't take that one out. That brooch is beautiful!!! I was thinking it would be cool to sift that dirt and find that other stone? I will never get over seeing all that history coming out of the ground, in what looks like the middle of nowhere. I love your story telling too, Shawn, gives me chills, so well done!!! Thank you, Jerry & Shawn 💖💖
I think the figure 8 item might be a fancy clasp for a women's sash. The ribbon would thread through each opening. The site is seriously off the chain! I can't until you guys get back there in the late fall. Crazy!
"I mustache you a question..." A Dad joke in honor of Father's Day? 😂 This was a great video. Thanks for braving the weeds, ticks, and mosquitoes to take us on a wonderful hunt! Loved the pocket watch and the hunting license.
This was a awesome place! Shawn, I don't normally like Mustache's, but yours looks good on you. The brooche is a great a find, as your thimble. I anticipate Saturday, mornings. Watching your post is a highlight. Please don't risk your lives to hunt dangerous places. The weeds are so high you could get bitten by poisonous spiders or snakes. As was pointed out fall in a well. You 2 be careful and god bless. Nora
Really enjoy your videos. The narration and historical background included is truly impressive. Thanks again for sharing the stories and finds. Enjoyed from Southwest Tennessee. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Loved the video, especially the old hunting license! I've always wondered if there are rattlesnakes or copperheads in the areas you detect. Watching you guys walk through those high weeds makes me a bit nervous for you.
I’m sure they are in there somewhere. Rattlesnakes find their homes near rocky hot areas for the most part. Copperheads though? This was the perfect place for them. Near the water and in thick vegetation.
Trees look like they were harvested in the last century. Soul looks rich and dark. Perhaps farming families. Immigrants from what part of Europe. Harvested game and apples for self-sufficient living. Harvested trees for shingles and shakes. Jewelry may have been heirlooms as well as the bed.😊
The piece of tubing with a finial on it was most likely one of many of the same tube coming from a head board of a bed. It would have had 6-8 finials going across the headboard depending on bed size.
I'm telling you guys you need a grass whip. You can get them at lowes not that expensive. Like a scythe but much smaller and made for cutting grass and weeds. I use 1 all summer.
What a nice spot to detect. Can't wait to see it this fall. I have a feeling you guys will find some very nice things tyere.Pretty cool seeing that old bed headboard. My grandmother had one very similar to it.
Thank you Jerry and Shawn for another awesome video love all the great finds keep up the amazing work and stay safe out there and watch out for snakes lots of love from West Virginia ❤️🙂
Shawn, your large piece of jewelry is SO Victorian, but I am unsure of the usage (hair decoration?). Lots of utilitarian pieces as well. Thinking you have just scratched the surface at this location.
I must be seeing things, but at 9:28 in the video, I see Shawn right behind you when he is supposed to be 30 yards away in a burn pit. I am 71 years old and don't understand computers and phone cameras that well but it is strange to me.
That’s the editing process. You saw him waving to the camera and then a lot of content is edited out. Next thing you know he’s standing right beside the find. If we didn’t edit anything, our videos would be 2 hours long.
Happy Father's day Shawn and Jerry. Beautiful broach Shawn. Another site to come back to in the fall and winter.

I think you’re right. No other connections on it.
Love the old jewelry. That looked like a horrible place to swing. Thanks for sharing!!!

Item looked like a torch head. Cheers! 😎👍🔥
That brass thing with the holes on the tip and pipes hanging down is a torch.😊

The Pitts pa piece looks like an old torch head
Great brooch
Nice hunt & great relics guys !!
The clip with the picture, was used to hang it up on a railing on the wall. Picture would have a string or wire that you attached to the clip.
Great hunt, look out fall and winter when you can swing good 🔥🔥🔥
Can’t wait!
I found a knife on an old site with the same orange colored handle, great hunt guys.

I believe Shawn’s find was an old blow torch.
I think you’re correct.

How many ticks did you pick off yourself? Lol you guys find some good spots for sure
Believe it or not….none from this site.
Do you think the 8 shaped thing could be a special buckle???
I understand for security reason not to give a specific location, but could you give a general location of where you are working the sites? thank you
Bed frame wow
