💥💥💥During the bush-wacking-journey-montage, I didn't think you'd make it over the train track obstacle. But, you finally arrived at the site, next to the telephone pole, along the power lines. I would’ve parked on the road behind that white pickup truck in the background, and walked straight to the cellar hole. Hard core, hard core. Be safe. Don't hurt yourselves out there.
One day we will return to detect a site and there was someone already there swinging. We would walk up to them and say……How did you find this spot? and they would say……. Hey guys! It’s me Lee! LOL! As always Lee, your attention to detail is 👌! Thanks for going on the adventure with us!
No worries boys. Plenty of cellar holes to detect here in southern New Hampshire. Hit me up if you ever do a road trip up here. Happy Hunting. @@detectingpa8968
Wow what a drone shot getting the deer crossing the river! First location was tough, we have a lot of luck searching away from the foundations/cellar holes in what would have been the yard. We find lots of stuff 100-200 feet away. Epic heart buckle! Awesome Eagle button! Sweet Sheild Nickel, we just dug one recently too! Shawn’s Largie and reading glasses are really cool too! Congratulations to you both!
Thanks! The glasses were amazing and they look great in Shawn’s finds cabinet. Anytime we can add some video of PA’s wildlife we jump at the opportunity. Last year we had a bear cross the road in front of us and I went don’t in looking for it. We never did see it again lol.
Great finds again. I've never seen anyone find spectacles metal detecting ever... But really be careful cleaning some of your finds, wait until you get back home. So very cool. Iv'e been watching numerous if your videos on this rainy day. You're a good team....♥️
Thanks! We do enjoy hunting together. We do need to take our time cleaning things sometimes but we like to show the viewers the finds in the field if we can. Thanks for the support!
That turned out to be an excellent day. Jerry, your button has me curious. If you don't have one, you might possibly find a button book at the library. The eyeglasses are the BONUS find of the day. And while there were only a couple of coins, you didn't find any wooden nickels! Ready for a return visit.
Thanks Grandad! I do not have a button book but it’s on the Christmas list from the wife! We do believe it’s a sportsman’s button but I couldn’t find the exact button online. Shawn has found great sportsman buttons in the past. We hope we can dig a few more in the future. We will have to wait for winter to head back unfortunately. It was very thick in there and we are luck to find what we did. There should be a bunch more there! As always thanks for tuning in! We enjoy reading your comments every week.
Cogg looks to be for a spinwheel.:)Eagle could be from a General way back before civil war ?Awesome really old items . You found 1 of the best finds all around so good luck in the Treasure hunting and thanks for letting me beside you :) Take care be healthy see you on the next big hunting Barbie & Sam . FL
Well done 🕊️!!! Appreciate your attention to producing a very good video....I subbed you guys... The reason is obvious... No hoopla, no drama... Just low key exploration... Good for you...!!!
Just WOW! Amazing finds for you Jerry and Shawn. That 2 piece button 👌 is awesome. And Shawn with the glasses in great condition. 👍 Now I know I'm not crazy when the hair on my arms stands up with finds like these. I have been using historical aerials for old sites was wondering where else to research for old sites? Thanks for another great video. Keep swinging and digging brother! 😊
Thanks Dale! It was an AMAZING site and we can’t wait to go back when all the vegetation dies off. We use google to find mid 1800 maps of the area then cross reference to the 1900 historic aerial maps. Look for road intersections and other things that are similar between the two maps and get out there and start looking. 80% of the sites we look for are wiped gone by the moving of earth or strip mining but we get lucky every once and a while.
🤯🤯Those relics gave me chills guy's, WOW!!!!!!! I've never seen a find like those glasses, Shawn, just amazing!!!!!!! Congratulations Jerry, on that sweet civil war buckle, I can't remember seeing one of those😳 Incredible finds, both of you!!!!!!! Thank you, Jerry & Shawn, for the wonderful videos, I look forward to them every Saturday; it's like Saturday afternoon at the movies for me 💖💖LOVE!!! the drone footage, so beautiful; those deer are like "what kind of bird is that?" lol. GREAT JOB GUY"S!!!!!!!
Thank you Mona! We are so glad you enjoyed the video. We put a lot of work in to make sure people feel like they are there with us. We got very lucky to find such an amazing site. We will definitely be back again and the deer had no idea what it was lol. They didn’t seem to mind it to much. As always we look forward to you comments! Thanks again!!
Just WOW! Call me crazy but the hair on my arms was standing up with those finds. It feels as though I was there with you guys! Congrats on the great finds fellas. Definitely a One of....with those glasses. Great job 😊
Coolest thing I think you guys have found to date on the return to this channel. Those have such a personal touch to them they make what we all do the most meaningful. Just to pounder on who wore those and what were they doing when lost! It is worth hundreds of hours of thought and research.
Thanks Chuck. We agree completely. The more personal of an item the more excited we are to recover it from the ground. Do you have any thoughts in the color of the lenses or low magnification? Could they have been just safely glasses for working the saw mill? Still has us wondering.
Beautiful place , looks a lot like vermont beautiful soil to grow in, ,treasure haha, you got Bigfoot haha I haven't heard nothin, think I'd like to go fishin huntin there have cabin there, where you guys live so I can see areas I ll understand if ya don't love your show since first strted
You fellas are lucky you have a lot of areas to detect out western Pennsylvania I'm from Philadelphia and around here not too many places to work that's why I live Thur you videos thanks
Thanks Doug! We do have the ability to get into the woods often here but we rarely find 1700s relics and coins like you can over there near Philly! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
That’s great Leo! Some of those heavy silver washed buttons get your heart going thinking they are silver coins lol. We have been fooled a few times lol. Thanks for joining us in the adventure!
I found a 1776 2 reale with my Deus 2 bout 2 weeks ago. I believe I like Shawn's glasses better. I see you all are now hunting with the Deus 2. I have been hunting some wore out sites and still pulling great items.😊
We really like the deus 2. We are going to go hit some old sites we found over the years to see if we can find anything else with the machines. Great job on the reale!
Your spur piece is a rowell. Love your videos. Pennsylvania is a beautiful state. But so is Tennessee.
Thanks for the support! Tennessee is definitely a beautiful state! Love the Smokey Mountains!

Great finding that site with all the neat finds. The glasses find was first I’ve seen being dug. Adding the video of the deer was cool also. 👍

That was an Awesome hunt fellas, you had some amazing finds!! Thanks for taking us along with you. Happy Hunting!!
Thank you sir.
Detect the bottom of the creek you waded through. Water has always been people magnet over centuries.
Yea that’s a good idea. We don’t hunt the water to much but we do on occasions. Thanks for the suggestion and watching!

Yes they were! I doubt we will ever find another pair intact again. Thanks for watching brother!
GREAT VID.. I THINK THAT IS SOME KIND OF "SPORTSMAN BUTTON" IMO.. GOOD FIND EITHER WAY..
We believe that to be true as well. We couldn’t find the exact match online but it looks like a few other sportsman buttons we found.

Great finds today I found my first flat silver wash button
That’s great Leo! Some of those heavy silver washed buttons get your heart going thinking they are silver coins lol. We have been fooled a few times lol. Thanks for joining us in the adventure!
You guys are digging bare handed in that poison ivy.
Jerry gets it pretty bad. I (Shawn) may be immune from it. Since I can remember, I’ve only had it once in my life.
Knock on wood. lol
Child’s ring!
That’s what we were thinking too. Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoyed it.

I've dug those heart buckles here in ohio
Yes, most are Civil War Era.
I have seen a few with the heart that date to the early 1900s.
Deus 2 and predator shovels it's almost like cheating. Lol
Yes sir!
How about snakes ? Don't forget, if you smell cucumbers copperhead snakes are close by.
We keep a close eye for them. I did see a bunch of snakes moving through a swampy area once. I high tailed it out and went back in the winter! lol
Your brass ring I believe it's a woman wedding band women had small fingers then.
🤑
Thanks!
