It’s funny I have 4 wiis and legends ultimate and never thought about doing this, great idea I will be doing the same as the Wii has a lot of good shooting games on it.

I did this a while back and it really scratched an itch. Great stuff Kev!! Another step is to take the guitar hero games, mount a guitar hook on the side of the cab, and play guitar hero on the cab. Keep up the good work bro and love the unique ideas!!
Great pickup Kev and nicely done on the mod. Glad you got the wii before the hawks did 🤣 You need to softmod that thing and load every light gun game on there... super simple

Dude the condiuit 1 and 2 are really good games... I need to pick them up! Conduit 1 is a pretty cheap ebay pickup but part 2 is a little bit more pricey

Nice Kev, new life for the Wii. Never saw Ghost Squad? I’ll have to pick it up. It’s by the Virtua Cop team and you can see their style. Did they port those to the Wii? I don’t think so? The Saturn or Dreamcast would both be good for the ALP.
Yo mikey! Ghost squad is a great game... I made a deal for the arcade collection with that Facebook seller.. im going to do some work on the cabinet and make a video.. the cabinet plays great just needs to be touched up here and there
I did this to mine,even cut a letterbox near the speakers to house the sensor bar and bought some cool guns to attach to the unit.modded it to put games on a usb stick house of the dead rules on this 👍
I just received the 2 nyko perfect shots that I ordered. I’m going to emulate some Wii games with my steamdeck. I can use a dolphin sensor bar and wiimotes with the SteamDeck. I probably won’t use my Alu though.
I happen to have a WiiU right next to my ALU. I also decided to see if a Siden light gun works with a Steamdeck and it does. I also have a Steam Deck Docked right next to my ALU. I might give the Siden a try once price comes down.
my mate gave me his Wii, and i have added it to my Legends, the only issue I have is the senor bar placement, no matter were i place it I can't do true aiming down the sights, i have to have the on screen crosshair

I remember doing this 3 years ago and as of today it's still honestly the easiest way to play some shooting games on the ALU.

Yeah the price is a bit high for a sinden which is why the wii is a good alternative if you have one laying around or can get one cheape

Anyone know where to get new wiimotes that work with this? I heard some of the generic off brand ones do not. I don't trust the used ones on ebay.
Do you know of any other good Wii shooter games?
Look into hacking you wii and adding retroarch. You can play Mame Shooter with your wiimote. Don’t have to be limited yourself.
Why not just play it on the tv
