Cool man..I saw your 12 tera byte Hyper Spin " video and this is your new one.. I have the 12 terabyte build and I want to get a gaming PC for this 32 terabyte build next.. thanks man. Good video.
Great video brotha
Love this drive... very well packaged using the tier systems.
I posted on your other video lol I have the 48TB+ build I bought it a few years ago. Chris is awesome and everything works flawlessly. Every time I had an issue, he fixes it and responds directly. If y’all thinking of getting some emulation stuff I HIGHLY recommend Chris build. He updates regularly, you can’t beat the price either. Thanks for shining some light on his site
Hi I am interested in buying this but as someone who owns it, would you say each OS has the same games or do some have different games than the other? I just really just want to play on one that has everything. Also, if you have a good PC. Would you say the performance is good on Saturn, Dreamcast, PS3, and 360?
How much did u spend??
No disrespect meant, but i have read that some of these drives have viruses. Has anyone scanned these?
@@iansmith4924 I can't comment on these drives but the kinhank ones have ''false'' positives. basically they use an altered file to play the pc games on there so it will show up as a positive sometime, afterall it is pirated software essentially. If you are skeptical then you are best staying away or using on separate computer that is not connected to the net
I will definitely be buying the biggest size I can get my hands on. Thanks for the heads up on this.
Did you purchase yet?
just to think back in 2019, when I found out about retropi. 128 gb was heaven bliss.
Still is tbh.
Had a 8TB drive for years, great support from comunity and admins as well as updates done all the time
Man this looks sweet! I want this so bad but wouldn’t have a clue on how to install it on a pc.
you just run the install program and it installs and configures everything for you.
I was thinking the same thing 😂
ITS PRETTY MUCH PLUG N PLAY. THATS THE WHOLE POINT OF THESE DRIVES , CONVENIENCE.
I’ve got his 8tb setup and will be getting another 16tb. I can say that their support is second to none! The community is sooo helpful and they are constantly looking for ways to improve. I would strongly recommend.
Paying for piracy

How do you think capitalism was formed@@Puretea4711
I paid for the thousands of hours of work it takes to do the media, make everything work and the custom software programs that make configuration easy.

I've been putting off doing something like this for years due to all the work involved. This price is reasonable enough that I think I'll go for the cloud option.
Thank you!

What gamepad did you use in this video? the most important part of this whole setup is the setup part.
My concern is you have a gamepad like xarcade or a custom gamepad for an arcade build, does the setup actually work to where its 100% working on all these gamepads?
Its been a long time, and I know this build has improved since previous years. I always hated how a windows update or error can kill a setup or install.
You can make your own build and it be good but you waste alot of time, or you buy this and hope it works with your setup.
I know this is the best build right now to get, but there is alot more not mentioned in this video that you got to think about, what question did you ask? im pretty sure it was an important one was it not if you had to reach out for support.
Ive used hyperspin in the past and I dont like the program, ive even used bigbox and an update reset the entire config somehow, this was a year ago before they added the backup feature.
What I would like to see example: is an exact computer build with an xarcade setup and computer build how to, with a os setup everything start to finish, thats what I want to see.
Actually the setup supports all control types and ill explain below.
THe base control types are Xarcade, and Xbox... One is hardware based and the other is software.
Then you have ipacs... also hardware, but configurable... so you can match the button set to the xarcade
Xinmos.. are like wireable xbox controllers.
So if the software layer lays over the hardware... there is zero conflict. And you can use both the xbox controllers at the same time as your Ipacs. Interchangable.
And with this... it allows for universal controls across the board.
i all ready have full sets up to wii u been collecting since about 1997 (man it was fun to start with on a 56kmodem lol) not really been collecting for a number of years now and was wondering do you do specific sets for people like me that are just not up to date on the newer sets (not interested in pc sets)
I was in the same situation. Had countless full romsets that are outdated now. Basically Neo Geo, some Nes, some SNES, most of coin-ops related MAME sets were mostly bad dumps... I had to throw away 100s of GB worth of romsets that are just outdated and bad dumps... some worked flawless before but now wont run in more current emulators others were bad dumps and if you use a parent-child tree for say things like romhacks the ips patch is usually applied on the original rom before launching the temp file so an imperfect version of the rom simply will not match the areas needed....
In short I had to throw it all out of the window and redownload the romsets again.
Wow...from Reys128GB for the Raspberry Pie 3B to more games than they are people on the planet. Just WOW! 😳😳😳🤯😁
I really need to look into this more. I ordered my pie through your reviews years ago but I'm definitely considering a bigger build to get everything up to PS2 and arcades. I'm not interested t all in Wii U, Switch and modern games so maybe a 8 or 16T would be enough? Having the Ps3 games on top of that sounds like a dream
Hey man. I actually recommend the 8tb to the 16tb as the sweet spot of gaming. It gives you full arcade, full pinball and consoles upto Nintendo Wii U, which is really... only a couple generations behind where things currently sit. And for a fraction of the cost since you only need one harddrive instead of 3.
Hey drew could you possibly tell me how i could get the 48tb build running on a laptop? Also do you know what equipment i would need (i dont know about computer parts )
I'll take the time to answer all questions. And I support a lot of people. Shoutout to Drew for showing it off. Thank you!

So if this has every game why is there a 96TB version? Also for games requiring accessories like a guitar how are you supposed to play it?
My only question is,once i initially install and download everything necessary, will I need to be connected to internet to play my games afterwards?
Living in rural area,if ill need internet connection after installation, its a waist of money, because ill never get to play, unless i take my Pc to a friends house in the city
Emulation is the way to go
Something like this would be swesome if we could pick and choose what games we want for the larger systems (would only want certain games for the disc based systems since they take up so much space), most of the cartridge based systems could be the full library (except for DS and 3DS).
Ummm you can actually however I would recommend that you build the first 2 drives in their entirety... Having a good base is important... then if you wanted, I could help you create new xmls for the larger systems.
Even if you only pick 100 games out of 40000 games
Mine are brute force conflict desert storms Vietnam titles mainly shooter true crime and beat cop style games like narc gun aswel soldier of fortune maybe play a few sonic and Mario World titles for shits and giggles can't beat old Mario platform games jump on top of the bad things I don't like the new Mario games the older 2D platform games aswel as donkey Kong
how do the pinball games play (non Zen ones)? like future pinball and vpx?
They play fine... and they all have 4k previews as well.
The settings portion is actually part of the install, where it integrates the registry component for you. Which hold all the gpu/control settings etc. It will also install flex DMD, B2S, and the registry injections for popper... as some of the newer VPX talbes require them
The following wheels on the drive are as follows. Visual Pinball, Future Pinball, FX2, FX3, FX (Via Nintendo Switch DLC), Pinball Arcade, Zaccaria Pinball and Ice Cold games. (Ice cold beer, etc). I just updated to 10.8, and now I even have a VR wheel with 126 tables.
Can we get this to work with steam deck or Lenovo Legion Go?
Is a frontend just a screen? Also could someone explain where to get themes? Also how do gun games work on here and how much does this one cost ?
I'll need 10,000yrs to completely play all those games. 😂

I do man, I ship worldwide!
Is there something loke this in memory card form that would work on retro 4 pro?
so this gives you hte ISO's so you can put them on your ps3 ?
Looks quality can you plug this hard drive into the usb port of a PS5 and play it
Honestly I would pay just for a full arcade build with all metadata and stuff in it (Mame, Teknoparrot, Fightcade etc). But this? I don't see much point, too much stuff would just get me stunlocked every time I opened the system trying to decide what to play.
King Cade Ultimate Arcade machine!
The main thing is… how long do I have to transfer all those games to backup drives before it breaks? I would get it just for the time I’d save trying to find all that crap, but I’m terrified it will break because apparently that’s a common problem
Thats why im going to grab it
@@dmtmediabrothers but aren’t you worried about it crapping out before you’re able to move all the files? I got the 32TB setup and let me tell you...there is no other build like it. All those other drives out there doesn't even work for the most part. Hyper Arcade Systems is the only setup where you get updates on the latest and greatest and fixes. Hyper Arcade Systems is phenomenal and they be getting hated on by these other build creators and it's a damn shame. All those other build creators can throw them dusty ass drives in those dusty ass crates because you ain't messing with Hyper Arcade Systems and the Hyper Arcade Systems team!

Plug and play yes but how would I know it would run properly in existing my arcade. I know I’d probably need a better graphics card . What else would be a necessary? My arcade is running Windows 10, would I need a later OS?
Very good. I need 48tb
Can they make a plug and play? Version with the arcade sticks
Did u like this build vs. Kris Kool Mod?
Hi :-) I already got everything up to ps2/gamecube Is it possible to get only the 360 & ps3 games or something like that?.
Not really... I dont sell partial sets. Sorry
Where can you buy this 32 tb version cause I can't find it ?
Also does this have/come with the cheats/cheat codes/save wizard?
That wluld be insane
Does it also have access to cheatcodes? Are you able to apply cheats to the games?
Yes. there's cheat codes for MAME, Retroarch. And maybe one or two other systems.
Question: Are there any places where someone can download the front-ends already configured where you'll only have to add the ROMs?
Not really... however.. the 2tb version of the drive, comes with the same base as the 48tb. So if you were to grab that, you would have all the media, settings, directories, Controls... everything laid out so you could add your own games. Youd just have to make sure they were in the correct place...a nd the naming was correct. The correct directory could be seen by looking at the RL settings. Its all there.
Thanks man
@HyperArcadeSystems That's awesome! Thanks and I will definitely look into that option
@@mrdreloaded4049 not worth it unless you have alot of spare time and ready to learn hyperspin and waste your time because its not user friendly at all.
This looks amazing, but how can you add more games? (im sorry if you said it in the video and i didnt got it im not native)
yes
They should make a 1tb version of this for Android users that can fit on a Microsd card, I'd love to have a premade collection that can fit on the AYN ODIN 2
would like to get the 8TB but the exchange rate is not good to AUD , the US dollar is a killer.
I just started the Black Fiday sale.
Kind of a unique question, I haven't dealt with emulation for about 15 years, is there a way to transfer the image to a ssd within a handheld x86 system? I have a one x player 1s.
Probably not... you'd have to change the emulators over to none 64 bit and have a bunch of 32 bit installs only.
@HyperArcadeSystems I mean, I already have a 2tb ssd inside of my onex system that I don't have a adapter for, plus i tried to get the image last night and let it start downloading but nothing happened.
Quick question. I saw where you said this could be broken down into 8 tb chunks for downloading. Are there any problems using 8 tb drives because they only have approx 7 tb of usable space, or has this been accounted for? Thank you!
Thats how it is... 7.2 TBs after format.
@@HyperArcadeSystems thank you !
My question is, what happens when this hard drive fail? Is there a warranty? What about the keys for Switch games? Can a I add more games? I am not asking for myself. Ive been playing retro games for awhile now (Launchbox, Batocera , etc etc...). I know where to go and download these games and do the setup . But what about those that dont know how.
I wonder when the next storage will be out (a Petabyte) which is basically 1000 Terabytes, imagine having a 2 Petabyte drive, you could have everything ever released on there. There was that 96tb one too, but very pricey
THe entire setup is upto 48tb... and I already have 32tbs of switch games. which I obviously cant fit onto the setup.. I basically have full sets of everything else.. So all in all... a full gaming set, notwithstanding PC games and international doubles.. it really about 78TBs.
@@HyperArcadeSystems wow that's really great
will be nice, but batocera still do not support that kind of capacity only because of boot times, i think 2tb-4tb it's a reasonable wait time, up to 4tb it's a lot of time to boot (now in november - 2023 (batocera 36-38)
capacity/time to boot
2tb = 2 min
4tb = 3 min
6tb = 5min
8tb = 7 min

Hey I have a question if I provide the hard drive how much would you charge me to put all the games

I would like the switch setup. Other than that i could do myself
Switch is actually the easiest part of the setup. Since the games only have a single file. Yuzu is fairly straight forward. And there are places to get large batches of them... the rest of the setup would be much more time consuming to put together.
Hi Drew, very important can you tell me if all the front ends on this build have the same amount of games on them or do some builds have more games and platforms to play on than others? Just wasn't sure if it was purely aesthetic or if some are better than others
Please excuse my ignorance, can this be purchased as a console so you can just plug it into the hdmi port of a larger screen TV and away you go ?

They're pretty close to full sets if not full sets. This has always been the goal.
Also its not so much about game count... Many of the setups that you see out there claim 100k games.... that's all garbage. Even on the 48tb your barely pushing 70k... and that's a real number. These people saying 100k plus are lying... mame for instance only has about 4300 working games without clones.. doubles. Etc

How much for the build?
Would this work on a Pi running Batocera? Looking for a good MAME preloaded microSD card for Batocera, any suggestions?
For the low low cost of nothing, you can build it yourself. All it takes is a bit of research. You learn things in the process. With the Pi3, you get the basic but with a Pi4 or 5, you can have something really good.
I wouldn't use a PI for this. It can even struggle with Dreamcast at times. You won't be able to play majority of this stuff. But I would get this in order to not have to download any roms and scrapes for future builds.
No. This has retrobat.. which is essentially batocera, but its a windows build.
Sure the games can be used on a pi build... as the media can... but very little else.
@@j.goggels9115 I get that but I’d rather spend the time with my children then do a “bit of research”. Time w my two kids from 1 month -2 years, priceless. The first ten years of a child’s life are the most impactful. I’m not waist one moment of it SINCE I WAITED till my mid 40s! All I need are the MAME games and maybe Neo Geo final burn ROMs and bios. I dislike that this has happened to people.. your not the only one and it actually hurts the idea of selling the setup as it leaves people bitter... which is undersandable.
Hope someone could answer this question: Who program this User intereface and all the animations in this system?
Sure there's people in the retro community who helped and contribute in programming this, but were they part of a company or how are they compensated for every unit sold for this system?

Most of the price is actually in the harddrive itself. I offer the a small setup, of 2tb... all the way upto to 48tbs. Eh…the reason they’re so big is because of modern CD based games being so large. But reading over the included systems list - there’s a lot missing for older 70’s/80’s systems (especially in the computers list). If they’d add the MAME Software Lists library will all included media - now that would be worth it.

Anyways.. You are right... after ps2 the size of games did explode... But I generally have everything on the setup that is emulated... can you share what isnt perhaps here?
Also consider that perhaps during this time...everything was in experimentation... and it was very easy to port things from one computer to another... generally, since this setup has all the big ones.. and many smaller computers... Id say the best games... from that time era are more than represented.
If you think three's something though that Im missing... and if its emulated. Id be happy to make a wheel for it.

But the systems I'm drawn to are not what most folks want. I don't really emulate anything newer than probably PS2, etc....most of what I concentrate on are way older. I'm an Attract Mode user myself and have around 270'ish real systems with almost 500 or so total wheels (systems, collections, arcade board break out, etc). But like I said, what I enjoy are not in the common interests of most.
@@davidmarti6487 THeres a few wheels from what youve posted. However is there anything that stands out in your mind, as you seem to be well versed... that would have some unique titles? Perhaps I can add it, add some value
@@davidmarti6487you like boring old stuff
@@AlwaysRight32….LOL, I guess I do.
I have the 48TB setup and it's awesome.
Thanks dude!
What is the boot time of 46tb?
@@user-sd6jz9tf8w This is a windows setup, so it would be like a min?! (And im guessing your referring to the reading of file's on a pi setup... which somebody referenced above... said it was 5 hours for 48tbs or something huge)
@@HyperArcadeSystemsis there a download image option if you have your own hard drive?
@@pdiscool yeah of course. GOogle hyperarcadesystems. Theres FTP links for a few setups
My final project in product design was how mp3 killed the art of playing music and sharing it. This hard drive and every "convenient" app is the death of its world. This is the same. One game would be loved 30000 will be forgotten
Its moved beyond that really.... Its more about the end product now. An entire arcade experience etc... but yeah I know what you mean
I was wanting to turn my ps4 into an emulator. Wish I could use this somehow as my collection on the ps4.
Only if it ran windows...
how to get this console guys?
Remember when you get one, ensure you back it up on the spare 32 TB drive that you have.
there a link to buy this?
HyperArcadeSystems Google it, should come right up.
The 8 TB up to PS2 for $200 is actually really good
