Great video really looking forward to the maiden and I have the Parthenon 1.3 on my Eagle tree vector base station and it works like a charm

Yeah they are a good rx and vtx I have had no issues with mine I just wish they were built smaller hence why I went the matek 1.3 this time. Our weather is the pits here rainy and windy season I haven’t been able to do any flying now for months it’s driving me crazy. Not sure when the Talon will get its chance to fly but it will come.

Best YT guide I've found on the GT Rebel. Most are the FPV kits and very general. You went into the details I was looking for. Got yourself a new Sub bud! tk vm! Get a Dolphin guide out if you own it. Really nice plane. I just replaced my Matek stuff with the Speedybee F405 APP and it rocks on my wings!

Thanks mate for the comment glad it can help. A Dolphin is one bird I do want to get as well as the speedybee f405 only problem is it seems to be sold out everywhere I have looked. I want to upgrade the fc on the fx61 with the speedybee. Regarding the talon, if you can purchase a 2nd kit I would highly recommend it as parts are very hard to come by. Damage on my talon before it’s maiden due to my cat I have needed to order a whole kit just to replace the damaged elevator and control horn. Really bugs me I have been waiting now for near 2 months and it’s still on backorder.

I had that VTX and that antenna in the wing mounted. The V in the wing is a disaster - catches grass every landing. I ended up swapping to a normal dipole that is flexible and safe for landing. And of much better quality too.

Great vid! Just got my T GT and using a speedybee but looks a lot like yours. Would love to see each inav section since I don’t have a copy.

Thanks, mine hasn’t been flown much since the maiden video. If you watch the maiden video although it was successful I wasn’t totally happy with its setup especially on launch. I do plan to fly this again once the weather cools and I’ll probably do a remaiden with the latest iNav firmware at that time. I do plan to make some changes eg battery size and prop size. I believe its setup was a bit heavy and I want to lighten that next time. The iNav setup I had on its maiden was purely stock settings without any piff tuning on adjustment I did was adding more throttle upon launch to help compensate for the large battery it was running.

I’m new to the hobby and I was wondering in INav there isn’t a vtx table for hd camera and seeing how most hd systems these days you need to connect your vtx to the FC to unlock it and put in the frequency tables so your vrx can connect to it. So is there not a vtx table in INav? And I’m guessing you’re using analog so how do you unlock analog systems and setup the right frequency tables?

Yes I'm still using analog fpv video. I've never had to unlock anything regarding my vtx setup. All my vtx vrx frequency settings are all done manually during my builds. INAV does let you change frequencies and power via transmitter but I haven't bothered using it. You can always join the INAV fixed wing group on Facebook they have helped me out heaps during my INAV learning process. Thanks for the comment.

.it really hurts my head thinking how connect those wire correctly..😅😅😅

Lol yeah bro it is a puzzle you just need to take time and read the wiring diagrams for the flight controller after a while it becomes easier and not as hard as it looks. The hardest part is the setup on the computer and making sure everything is 100% correct and moving in the correct directions. The smallest error and the plane will crash on its first flight. The first flight is always scary as hell lol!
