We got our german shepherd puppy from an abusive situation, and she acted very similar at first. She would shy away from our hands and she even ate her own feces because she wasn't fed at her abusive home. I just hope that this poor puppy is in a better situation. ❤
😅y
A bathmat for your tub would be great cause the little pup was struggling to stand cause of the wet slippery surface.
We adopted our pup from a local rescue and she acts very much like this. They took her in from another state where she was found tied up outside. She does not like anyone going to pet her on the head and drops to the ground for anyone coming at her that way except for us, she stays away from men as much as possible, and she crawled completely underneath our deck the first time my kid got out a baseball bat. I cant imagine what she went through before she got to us, but we are working hard to show her that she is going to just be loved from now on.
This pup this so stinking cute. I'm glad he's not in the care of the possible abuser anymore. I wish for a puppy like this.
Poor little thing is so hand shy. I agree, someone in this little guys very short life has hit him alot.
What a sweet little pup!
You are right he is so scard
My dog was 12 weeks old. When I got him from a breeder. He almost 8. He still remembers. So I just keep on loving him. Saying Momma loves you. No one will ever hurt you. It's just terrible that he worries that I would take him back. Baths are better now. But car rides. He just crys. I even got treats and ate them in the car. Then went home. All we can do is show them. That not going to happen again! Not on my watch! Sending love!
@@melaniekendall4903 Well, They had a special house outside. Dogs were not allowed inside their home. Then the guy told me. He just gave the dog a bath. The hose was in the driveway. It was 20 degrees outside. He told me they feed him chicken livers. Only good food. Nope! You know you check your children poop. To make sure everything is ok. Well, Pumpkin poop was the cheap Hard Walmart adult dog food and it was the meat kind. His breed is to eat chicken. Tried petting him. He had fear in his eyes and back away. Every once in a while. He still does that. I have never hit him. No matter what. My house he is the little king. And I make his food too. Show your dog love. They will love you back 10 times more.
he is such a beuatiful dog

Poor beautiful little puppy ❤️
Looks like a malinois mix
What is she watching ? It sounds so interesting
Delicious brother 74
Puppies usually love everybody - his skittish behavior is evidence that the owners are either mean & abusing this darling puppy and aren't socializing him the right way! This puppy does not belong with these people.
Vc não sabe que não pode entrar água nos ouvidos dos cães? Isto provoca infecção.coitadinho 😮😢
Imo it seems irresponsible to call this dog "abused" in the video title when you aren't 100% sure the dog is being or was abused. The title reads like the owners are abusing the dog because it is a puppy and it doesn't have any physical signs of abuse.
Agree 100%. People are always assuming that a frightened, nervous dog is/was abused. Maybe the puppy has just not been socialized enough, or he may just be a little shy. He did very well for his first grooming experience. Unless she has evidence of this(abuse), she should think before speaking and accusing.
Puppy probably wasn't abused at all. If he's a rescue, it's very likely that this pup is so nervous because he was in the shelter during a major fear period (8-12 weeks, and around 6 months are major fear periods). Poor breeding, and epigenetic changes (stress on the mom during pregnancy) likely also contribute to it. Being fearful of men is REALLY common in dogs. It's almost universal that dogs will be more nervous with men than women. Even my dog, who I've had since a puppy, and who's never been hurt by a man, is more nervous with men. We see this so often in rescue, with dogs being afraid of men, and adopters assuming that they were abused by men, when we know they've never really even had any experience AT ALL with men, let alone been abused by one.
