Every time I need a tutorial for a specific technique, you have a great one! Working on a no-pattern bag and the recessed zipper is part of my vision. Thanks for this
Not sure HOW MANY bags/pouches you end up with in prepping for these tutorials, but I appreciate being able to SEE each step and the actual progression....thanks SO MUCH!!!!
Great! Thanks so much, this was exactly what I was looking for.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The tote I‘m sewing has no side panels, but a bit of a rectangular bottom, so I‘ll have to add sides to the zipper, to make it equal with the bottom. I‘ll definitely bookmark this video, to come back for another tote.
If I have a tote bag that has boxed corners, rather than actual separate side panels, should I use this tutorial or your tutorial for bags with side panels? And thanks a million for all the amazing content, I'm such a fan!
I'm curious to know how, or where, to add pull tabs at the end of the zippers if I use this in something bigger, such as a boxed corner tote bag (18" x 14") On the exterior piece, centered on each side seam? I have been using another pattern that is just so difficult and confusing and only looks good half the time and your technique may be what I'm looking for to end my frustration!
I like the recessed zipper especially when it's completely closed and there's no holes at each end things could fall out but I wonder like your dot dash bag the recessed zipper the zipper actually has a flap on each side of the zipper tape when is it necessary to add the strips to the zipper tape I hope this makes sense
Thanks for sharing! I’m making a purse with wooden handles for a relative. The actual pattern calls for a magnetic snap. They would like a zipper but don’t think a zipper can be added due to the wooden handles. Can this method be used?
I have developed a strong dislike for zips with dangling ends! Enclosed and recessed zips only for me. Having said that you do a very good job of delivering tutorials.

Thnx Sara. Another great tutorial. Which pattern is this one? Beautiful. Love it. Thank You.
P.S. Happy Birthday. Early wishes from Limassol Cyprus
She said large size Paladin pouch. Spelling is probably wrong. Sorry.
@@Lucky-xs1nk thank You so much. This is the pouch is working on for demo purposes. Thnx anyway. Greetings and Happy Thanksgiving.
If i am sewing a smaller bag, what is the minimum recessed panel size instead of your 1.75" ?

Can you please send an email to sara@sewsweetness.com Maybe include a photo to show where the wooden handles are?
@@bronwyncarr6714 Thanks so much! Send now.
So will this not work with a bag that has side panels?

Definitely feels like you missed showing us a step #confused
