My grandfather once picked up Aileen during her killing spree while she was hitchhiking. No one even knew until her face was all over the news. He lived to be 64 and sadly passed in 2016. But it's still a pretty cool story to know.
Growing up, my grandmother live across the street from Bonnie Parker whom she would often play with. I asked once what Bonnie Parker was like. She said, just like any other little girl. 🤷♂️

@@Tzinacacihuatl It's probably really hard to pretend not being scared when you are about to die. They are psychopaths and sociopaths. Most likely they feel things differently.

You WILL be afraid when your life is in immediate danger, fear and adrenaline are natural reactions when placed in such a situation.
I've been held at gunpoint before and while I didn't beg for my life or made any funny noises/faces, my heart was still racing as a natural response to such a situation.

A lot of different murderers have been suspected of being Jack The Ripper.
There was one man (I forget his name) who was convicted of several murders and sentenced to death by hanging. The story goes that as the killer was falling through the trapdoor of the gallows with the noose around his neck, he called out, "I am Jack The --," but the rope cut off his voice before he could finish his statement.
It seemed like he was trying to say "I am Jack The Ripper," but some crime historians dispute this idea, claiming that he wasn't even in London at the time of most of the "Ripper" murders, which didn't fit the M.O. of the homicides he did commit.
Some murderers have no regrets... And that's fine!... Neither does the executioner...

Ask some (people that work executions), you'll find that's often not the case.
the executioner does have regrets most of the times whatcha mean, somewhere they even changed the shooting execution so itll be multiple shooters but only 1 had a real bullet in. and even now there are still meassures taken to take the guilt off the executioner

Preforming executions is 100% voluntary and is done by lotto and only a select few ever know who the person is that’s chosen in the sate which I worked. This list is so long that you might never be might be picked! Don’t believe the propaganda the media feeds you! There’s no lack of willing executioners I assure you!
Sam O Nella has already done this, but you need to do a video on this! This man from the 1700s named Terrare, had an insanely large stomach, he ate whole cows, and once ate 200+ watermelons. And he was average height, and described as slim. I think you guys need to get on this!

Last words truly are the final testament of a man. I think about that a lot…it’s grim to think about but also kinda crazy at the same time, if you truly think about it, it’s what your life finally leads up to. Your last words, what do you think your last words will be?
I don't think it matters tbh, sometimes people say completely random things just before they die because they have no idea that they are about to die. Also, I don't think the most important part of your life is the end but rather everything that came before it.

It would seem that Holmes' fear was well justified that day.
I read that H.H. Holmes's last words were that he only killed two people, and then, he was about to say something that seemed to implicate a woman named Minnie (the wife of one of his victims, I think) in his crimes, when the executioner sprun the trap, and Holmes was hanged before he could finish what he was going to say, the noose cutting him off in mid-sentence.
In case you're wondering, my source was a book entitled "Bloodletters And Badmen," by Jay Robert Nash, a noted crime historian. It was written in 1973.
