*Fun fact:* Manson was played by the same actor (Damon Herriman) in both the Tarantino film "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" and in the Netflix series "Mindhunter", despite both products being completely unrelated between them
Is that so?? I like really arcane trivia!!
Mindhunter is awesome. His performance is chilling.
@@Dogboon- mind hunter was actually pretty awesome and entertaining. Hope they do the next season soon!!
Loll no he didn’t
@@AmirA-qo3jv He totally did.
My whole life I have known a friend's father was once a member of Manson's "family". He got smart, got clean, and left before all the murdering happened, but Dad told me that my best friend's father had said Manson was the most hypnotizing speaker he'd ever heard.
I did not dare bring this fact up to the man himself until Charles Manson passed away. Only then did I ask him how he felt about Manson being dead, and he said, "I was one of his followers, the Family, for a time in my life!" I told him Dad had told me that from my earliest days, and I had always known. He was astounded, because it was such a tightly kept secret locally. What he said about Manson being dead was, more or less, "I'm glad. I spent decades feeling like I have to look over my shoulder, because I left..." In other words, he didn't have to be afraid for himself or his family any more.
That's really interesting. Lucky he was smart enough to get out before the drug use got worse and Manson had some drug induced psychosis or paranoia.
@@aoifeandginny5569 My father was supposed to never, ever tell this secret! (My dad and him were also best friends.) He...told us anyways. It didn't get any further and I know that, because nobody should have to spend the bulk of their lives looking over their shoulders. I will also never tell who, since there are people to this day who could make his life, and that of his family, very, very difficult for that association.
doubt
@@TheInfiniteVoid True, and very unfortunately. But believe what you want, pal. It's like the retrograde amnesia story about my mom I've told for many, many years. I've told the story often enough out there.
@@ZeoVioletI need your opinion do you think had Sharon Tate not been murdered that night do you think she would have still been alive today age 80
The most infamous murderer that never murdered anyone
Sure he did
At least 2 people. But none that were involved in the 1969 ordeal.
There is speculation that he killed a few people. Donald "Shorty" Shea being one of those, as well as a shooting involving a member of the black panthers - although he had survived.
It is said that he killed shorty Shae and Gary Hinman himself but he denied it and there's no proof.
He murdered others.
This guy was just a master manipulator who managed to roam free for a few years
YES, family members of victims and police investigators at that time pretty much said/explained the same thing. He was just a creepy violent homicidal little bundle of sociopathic energy that had a talent for searching, finding, and manipulating other people into being deadly murderers.
A messed up childhood, drug abuse and unchecked mental illness create that.
"This guy was just a master manipulator " Feed people a steady diet of drugs and brainwashing, then start a race war. The government learned a few things from Manson. Odd hey?
Yeah I really can't get behind the whole conspiracy thing, mostly because back then police rarely work together so if he was arrested multiple times in different places it would not shock me if they just let him go on a warning because they had no idea what kind of guy they had just arrested. Countrywide databases were in their infancy, it's just more believable that the police didn't do their diligence than for there to be a big conspiracy.
Steven Parent wasn't in the main house. He was visiting William Garretson, in the caretaker's home. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Not true
@@AmirA-qo3jv you're really just going through all the comments and arguing with things that are actual known facts and can be proven with a 3 seconds Google search. You look incredibly dull judging by all of your comments. It's apparent you want to be thought of as the smartest man in the room, but honey you're looking like the guy who everyone tries to avoid because there's something off with him🤷♀️
@@LierinLindquist 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
wierd how they dident take notice of that...how high was they or they usually shoot randomly in usa in every era
Parent was visiting the caretaker earlier, trying to sell him a clock radio. He got caught in his car, on its way out and killed.
That one kills me, if he had just left a little earlier, he might have lived. :(
The last time they released Manson from prison he actually begged them to stay.. Manson was basically raised in prison.
Thank you for the video. There were some misinformation on some facts. ✨👍✨
"Uh, believe me, if I started murdering people..., there'd be none of ya left." -Charles Manson
Huh
@@AmirA-qo3jv are you slow?
@@AmirA-qo3jv That was a quote from Charles Manson from a news outlet interview.

Been waiting for this, thanks!

I'm a big fan of this channel and it was suspiciously not-showing-up for a good week... Anyway; problem remedied; subscribed once more. now i've got some catchin' up to do... Thanks, Infoghraphics and keep on doin' your thing. You made an impression; without which - i would not have noticed the absence. . .
Love your videos man keep up the good work.
Good job Inforgraphics, Well done!
Huh
Somebody a couple years ago said his time at Father Flannigan's "Boy's Town" simply consisted of him going in the front door acknowledging them to tell them what they wanted to hear and walking out the back and not returning ... Sad as that may have been.
Hey can you guys do a You vs video against Xemnas from Kingdom Hearts? I'm curious about what you'll come up with.
The animation here of Manson is VERY generous on his height. 🤣
Wow this video was so well done! 😻
Hi love your videos
Interesting as always
This is the most accurate portrayal of the subject. Thank you for the honesty
My grandad was neighbors with Charles Manson when he was a kid and the neighborhood called him “crazy charlie”
And my granddad grew up in the North Pole next to Santa Claus
Man, every time I watch something Manson I always get scared! 😨
Working at the Infographics Show sounds fun!
The animation of Manson made me laugh! Top notch!👌⭐😆
When the product of one of the toughest prison eras takes advantage of the burgeoning peace and love movement.
Love the mention of Tom O'Neil
Your videos are so dope. Love them. Let’s see what happened!
Some of them are boring
I just saw the movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood the other day, and I had no idea it was based on this! So cool to learn about the history!
Sup bro love viiidddsss
Nice 👍
I’m the third comment since I’m early, you guys have really helped me with some of my history assignments and some of your guy’s videos actually pointed out that my teacher was wrong 🤦
What if the Infographic Show was wrong, just another point of view. I am a big supporter, but with constant content it would be easy to put in something false and not be able to fact check it
We all learn something new together. But a secret is best kept but knowledge is best shared.
Best account of what took place is the Manson family by dark sky films . I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT 👌
I always feel real odd learning about Manson. My uncle was his penpal that he left everything to, the creepiness doesn’t just start with the shrine though he’s like obsessed. My stepmom is also involved with it but not nearly as much as my uncle is.
That's really intense! Is this penpal incident documented somewhere?
I would love to hear your story? What was it like growing up in a home like that?
Not
“if I stand on the mountain and say *DO IT!* it gets done! If it don’t get done then I’ll move on it!…and that’s the last thing you want…”-Charles Manson
I ever wonder if he wrote prison stories or a book about all the the stuff he committed
I was just looking at a documentary about him
I'm surprised there is no mention of Patty Hearst.
I remember when this happened. Maybe Patricia Kernwinkle is actually Patty Hearst.
I visited the ranch in the Death Valley. When I was there, the road was good enough for an AWD SUV
Patty Hearst wasn't involved with the Mansons. She was kidnapped by the SLA in 1974, like half a decade after the Manson murders.
@AkuraTheAwesome
Thank you. I've been learned.
Can y’all do a how they caught Rafael carro quintero
I heard an interview with one of the Manson family cultists not in prison, and the hippie vibe seems like it was just a ruse
This video was posted on my birthday!

Hanlon's razor
Their database would inform them wether a person was on parole and that's what was ignored
Exactly.
I can’t wait til maybe 10 yrs from now. You cover the saga on Natureboy and his cult CARBONNATION/MELANATION . So much to be uncovered.Look it up.
He cant be god, hes not a whoite dude. Hahahah
i love listening to this well doing my online school
Funny thing, I live about 3 miles away from Spahn Ranch, now it's a national park.
His dance moves were fire tho
Amen
There is a full biography of Charles mansion if Any1 is interested find him on the channel - Biographics
Didn't you guys already do this a few times
helter skelter wz the frigging motive!!!! it wz written on the crime scene in blood!!! & every body who loved at that ranch& the ones who participated in the murders all said & even today say yes that wz the motive
America: We have Infographics show
Philippines: We have Moobly tv
Infographics, have you been listening to the joe rogan experience 🤔
Scary thing is before my parents were born, Charles lived as my neighbor
But ur parents weren't even born yet?
intresting
I named my dog "Manson."
He was a brindle Bull Mastiff..
He looked intimidating..but was a good natured dog..gentle but very protective..it's a great name..
Wow man
They didn’t catch me I just slightly altered my last name and became black 😂💪🏾
Charles Manson actually released a music album, that you can listen to on Spotify and some of it is undeniably good
These are all I watch now on my breaks and lunch
This is the guy from umbrella academy i think his name was klaus
No that’s Jim Jones
Hey
The real life joker. 😂
Hi
1:54, maybe it was to see the police officers ethics
fun fact: charles manson was found to be connected to the son of sam killings
Something crazy I recently learned, Sharon Tate had a very vivid dream/vision of not only her death but also Jay Sebring’s, almost a year to the day prior to her death, in eerie detail.
Manson is said to have worked for the CIA in a book by Tom O’Neill
Just because you have long hair wear funny clothes and play the part doing drugs and listening to music and what not doesn’t mean you’re a hippie. Just like being a police officer doesn’t mean you’re not a criminal. Happy Intelligent Person Pursuing Infinite Enlightenment is what H-I-P-P-I-E stands for. They may fit at least one of those qualities but that doesn’t make them hippies.
They decided to be hippys dude.
This has always bothered me a lot too, the Manson family weren't hippies by any substantial definition.
Their lifestyle and behaviour had some superficial similarities but not much else.
i've never been this early 😍😍
Interesting
Yea.
I interviewed him. One of the last ones to do so.
Where can one read this interview? I'm curious
You got steve parent al wrong.
Parent was visiting the guest house.
Tex Watson approach Steven's car and shot him.
Did Vince gt it al right no but it happens
He is a meme in our group
They seriously didn't explain how they were caught at all despite the title of this video
It could be plausible that Manson was part of the "Company."
If anyone wants to learn more about Charles Manson “Cult podcast” has a couple of episodes about him which go more into detail.
This is so funny today in my law class I accepted him as my project topic ahahahahha
I saw Charles Manson once. Some of his bone fragments are on display in Las Vegas.
The Narrator is amazing 👏👏
I've always thought it was kinda strange that the government spent 4 years and untold recourses to quell the whole counterculture movement which they really seen as a threat to national security but yet 2 guys and 3 girls over a 48 hour period squashed brought the whole counterculture to it's knees
kind of disappointed you guys didn't get into the CIA involvement but for anyone interested the author of Chaos went on Rogan
I was just thinking about him and suddenly this video popped up
(2023)I just learned that one of the murderers was realeased from prison! Sickening that they didn’t have to serve the entire life sentence.
I like the Tarantino outcome better!
I exchanged letters with Manson for years and met some of his closest friends. Great musician and good friend.
🧢
My theory why the Cia couldn't manipulate people as fully as Charles did is because they couldn't manipulate you as well don't seem to put you at ease Charles often sang to them
do fritz honka
I cant believe Dave Grohl would do these things
I was wonderig how they caught him😐
How many times can y'all make this video?
Ok
he just wanted his rug back
Steven parent was just driving by the house when he saw the murderers go in. They saw him and killed him in his car. He was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Not exactly. Parent was visiting the caretaker in the guest house. He was leaving when they stopped his car and killed him.
What would you guys say to the Pacer fans who will say "Not in our house."
Pregnant women shouldn't drink. I spoke that glass of wine next to Sharon State. Great video on Manson!
wow interesting...
Helter skelter!
what did magnus carlson do
What he did and that he wasnt given the chair.
Was given the death penalty but then changed to life .
I fell like young Manson looks a little too much like Dave grohl in this
