In this video I show how easy it is to service my John Deere Gator TS. I do an oil and filter change, fuel filter change, grease it, and show a few other things to check.

Good work Chris. A nice uncomplicated little machine. I have a 99 Honda 4trax 300 on the farm. I'm pretty sure it'll run forever.

Well done. Easy to follow. Thanks. I agree re: the configuration of the oil filter location. I also struggled with the oil pan screw but know how to get it done now thanks to your video.
I like those ramps. Our honda pioneer is very close to the ground. Definitely a pain to get under them when they're low. That's for sharing Chris.
The ramps have been very useful this season in the shop. Don't think I would have fit under the Gator without them 😂 Thanks Monty!
Good to see someone who actually cares and is doing maintenance on their GATOR ! Unlike my landlords GATOR that has never changed the oil & filter with almost 4500 EVERYDAY USE hours on it now 🤣 it's just starting to make noises from the engine kinda like

The few people I know that have gators seem to always have little issues that pop up continually. Take care of it Chris don't want you to have issues.
Sure is! Our 825i S4 has had some issues, but it's a much more complicated machine. These little Gators will run forever if maintained. Thanks 🙂

Plastic plug 😳 never had any luck with plastic and oil... Would make me uneasy.. but the right plastic should hold up...

Things are definitely getting too complicated! Luckily this Gators design is based on one that started back in the mid 90's and is pretty basic. Our other Gator is most certainly complicated though 😂

@@dehavenfamilyfarm I’m hoping so. We had 3 inches of rain over the weekend so it’s just to muddy to start playing with it where we want to use it first. After playing with it in the yard, I’ve learned I need lots of practice to become a smooth operator. I see these guys make running these things look easy. I made it look very difficult. Lol
They last a whole lot longer when you stay on top of the maintenance good job Chris. 🧰😊☕
