You've done so many amazing covers over the years. Before i found you I never thought I would enjoy listening to English covers of Japanese songs so much. Every song i hear from you is amazing and for me, this one takes the cake. I always find myself coming back to this cover of glassy sky. Its beautiful, yet sad. It brings back all of the feelings in full from the show. Your voice is amazing and the way you sang this song is beautiful. Keep at it because every song you come out with is awesome.
The song describes the feeling that is felt when leaving something or someone you know you'll never be able to see again whether it be the death of a loved one, someone sent away far away, a soldier leaving for war, or just fresh heartache from a long loving close relationship. In the begining it's describes how life is moving on, people are carrying on with their lives, and everything fades away for the next day. The life story of this person carries on and the moments they used to have with this significant other has already passed away(almost like a sense of dying) into the memories of their minds. Though even when this person is already torn a part by the fact of the sepration and tried to make it up to the one they seperated with, they know they must be strong and not give up because life goes on. Everyone and all living beings live under the same vast glassy sky. So as long as this person knows that fact, they believe they will always be a part of them no matter how far the one they seperated from seems. Looking up at that glassy sky gives them the comfort that the person they love will always be there with them, looking at or under the same sky whether its day or night.
1-2 Switch as much as I like this song to me nothing matches unravel because of how it covered kaneki psychosis. He's actually really psychotic deep down and the song perfectly showed his fragmentation of his personas

+Twilight~Prince The lullaby is more of a quiet song, while the acoustic rendition of Unravel is a bit more full of powerful vocals half way through. Although, I do agree that they are a bit too similar for her to do a cover of it.

I just "graduated" from my school...a school I was never treated well at. fake friends, bullies, manipulation, not to mention unfair, unjust, and insane teachers. You name it, I've experienced it. I'm so glad I'm leaving but I feel so alone now. I've felt alone for a while now but I've been with these people for over 10 years, they are all I know. I have so many things I never said, promises we never fulfilled, apologizes I never said, crushes I never asked to dance with me. And you know what sucks the most, when ur crush likes ur best friend even though they are already taken. Like I'm just THAT undesirable. I hate that school so much but I also feel so alone. In the begining it's describes how life is moving on, people are carrying on with their lives, and everything fades away for the next day. The life story of this person carries on and the moments they used to have with this significant other has already passed away(almost like a sense of dying) into the memories of their minds. Though even when this person is already torn a part by the fact of the sepration and tried to make it up to the one they seperated with, they know they must be strong and not give up because life goes on. Everyone and all living beings live under the same vast glassy sky. So as long as this person knows that fact, they believe they will always be a part of them no matter how far the one they seperated from seems. Looking up at that glassy sky gives them the comfort that the person they love will always be there with them, looking at or under the same sky whether its day or night.

She's done her lullaby version already, which is basically like the acoustic version from Root A
+Twilight~Prince The lullaby is more of a quiet song, while the acoustic rendition of Unravel is a bit more full of powerful vocals half way through. Although, I do agree that they are a bit too similar for her to do a cover of it.

I just "graduated" from my school...a school I was never treated well at. fake friends, bullies, manipulation, not to mention unfair, unjust, and insane teachers. You name it, I've experienced it. I'm so glad I'm leaving but I feel so alone now. I've felt alone for a while now but I've been with these people for over 10 years, they are all I know. I have so many things I never said, promises we never fulfilled, apologizes I never said, crushes I never asked to dance with me. And you know what sucks the most, when ur crush likes ur best friend even though they are already taken. Like I'm just THAT undesirable. I hate that school so much but I also feel so alone.
