I really like these kinds of covers, they all have their own personality. Not just your take on the english lyrics but also that switch to double time during the chorus. This whole song is awesome.
This cover is amazing. It really contrasts with your first cover (which I also love). The first one I got the impression that it was both Kaneki and Rize. Kaneki begging for his friends to stay away and Rize demanding control. Whereas in this one, I see it as just Kaneki begging for his friends to stay away, though more assertively like it's after his torture at the hands of Yamori. I also love your choice for the thumbnail. It's the moment that tells the audience that the Kaneki they know is gone and has been replaced by eyepatch, which i think really fits with the style of this cover. Keep up the awesome work!

Does it stay as good as the first season. I enjoy the struggle of ghoul and humanity with in the main character and the other ghouls seem to have and I thought it would be cool to see the main character being the bridge between the two. But that doesnt seem to be where the anime is going by the final episode.
All Music her voice fits the instumental part but personally.the beginning didn't match her, it's just not the same without the high-pitched voice with that screeching in it
I also recommend listening to the unknown songbird(morgan berry) cover it's also awesome She also started out singing covers and is now voice acting with funimation
You know, for the crescendo in the middle of the song, adding the leitmotif was legitimately brilliant, it fits so well and adds a whole lot more emotion to it. Glad you added something new to the song instead of just adapting it (not that there's anything wrong with that), hats off.

I really like these kinds of covers, they all have their own personality. Not just your take on the english lyrics but also that switch to double time during the chorus. This whole song is awesome.
This cover is amazing. It really contrasts with your first cover (which I also love). The first one I got the impression that it was both Kaneki and Rize. Kaneki begging for his friends to stay away and Rize demanding control. Whereas in this one, I see it as just Kaneki begging for his friends to stay away, though more assertively like it's after his torture at the hands of Yamori.
I also love your choice for the thumbnail. It's the moment that tells the audience that the Kaneki they know is gone and has been replaced by eyepatch, which i think really fits with the style of this cover. Keep up the awesome work!

You know what gets me? At first I was like “damn this song suits the anime so much” because Kaneki goes through and changes so much. Now that season 3 is out and they have played this song in one of the episodes, it’s like the song was foreshadowing the future because “Kaneki” literally has himself inside of himself since he is Haise right now. If this makes any sense at all. Lmao

Does it stay as good as the first season. I enjoy the struggle of ghoul and humanity with in the main character and the other ghouls seem to have and I thought it would be cool to see the main character being the bridge between the two. But that doesnt seem to be where the anime is going by the final episode.
