I just heard the amazing lyrics and, as someone that frequently struggles with mental illness, I felt like they were singing directly to me. That someone had written the anthem to the darkest chapters of my story. Going about life not recognizing yourself, not wanting people to see you at your lowest point and pushing them away. Being paralyzed in the dark, feeling like there's something inside you that's destroying everything you love but not being able to identify it. You just want to fade away, to die quietly and hope everyone remembers the 'real' you. I'm in a much better place in my life now, but this song just WRECKED me when I sat down and gave it my full attention. It was the good kind of wrecked - the cathartic, weeping, 'there are WORDS for this!' kind of wrecked. I doubt anyone will see this - it's hard to communicate how significant this song is to me, but thank you so much for singing it.

Especially with these lyrics you can really tell how kaneki feels and I know it's just a tv show an anime that doesnt really matter irl but the show has a message and a very heartfelt one at that and this song is one of the most beautiful songs in the world atleast to me and it tells a story of someone slowly fading away a man who cares for his friends but doesnt want to bring them into his problems because they might get hurt or their heart broken in the process but without help he is falling apart and becoming a bad man so in the song he is asking his friends and family to remeber him as a good man the man he used to be he is also trying to figure out his place in our terrible twisted and broken world it's sad and beautiful and this cover shows it perfectly thank you
Damn those Lyrics in the beginning were great After finishing it I have to say that was fucking phenomenal and up there with Jonathan's Young and Amalee's covers. Jons is a Metal Ballad, Amalee's is a rock banger, and this is a beautiful Piano arrangement. They all carry such a different yet familiar feel.
