How to remove this forgotten UEFI Password?
I have Forgotten BIOS UEFI Password of this Laptop
Boy that is going to be a tough one the only way I know of is to temporarily remove CMOS battery for around 30 seconds or a minute, the settings are lost. Most motherboards are built such that removing the battery for that long, resets everything. This includes the password for the BIOS / UEFI. Of course big issue is you would have to dissemble the surface to even find the CMOS battery to disable the battery and it I am not sure it works on a surface. If that way doesn’t work, you can try to use a BIOS Password website to clear it I hear that works but I have never tried it.
