2:53 those Apple Pro Keyboards can’t provide enough power for USB flash drives, and also they’re even worse than you think because their USB ports are only rated for 1.1 speeds (12Mbps) as that was the latest commonly available standard in 2000.

Hi, might know why recovery didn't work. 1. restarting with the USB in obviously will boot into the setup. 2. using windows 11 recovery with windows 10 might not be the best idea
My computer had a similar issue with "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED", but I was able to boot to recovery. I reinstalled Windows by resetting it with keeping my files. My computer worked
vro you can use ALT key and letter with under score so for the Install Now button do alt i for accepting terms alt a alt n for next alt c for custom etc
The surface charger wasn't connected properly, I think you have to insert the wedge part into the side and it'll turn on a white light if it starts charging
The real guide was 1.Download the recovery file on your model of your Surface Tablet 2. On your secondary laptop connect your USB drive and format it completly on FAT32 3. Open "create a recovery drive" or similar on your other Windows 10 or 11 pc and uncheck the fact he can restore the whole partition from your internal drive 4. Start the process 5. The recovery file *.zip* you have downloaded unzip it and copy the whole content to the USB drive. 6. Once finished, connect the usb to the surface 7. Boot the Surface by holding the volume down button and power to boot it from the USB to access to the recovery option menu from Windows. Last step : Follow these instructions to reset windows and recover the whole partition including Microsoft Surface stuff. De nada.
The only time ive gotten a bsod is while my laptop was posting i smashed the keyboard and it for some reason bypassed boot password then bsoded right when it starter loading windows with the error code at 0:38. What does it mean?
you know you dont have format/delete the HDD you can just install windows and everything would be movie to folder called windows old to allow you move stuff. i know this because I had to restall windows on my computer because it kept blue screen so I didn't format I just install on top other windows and got move everything to windows old and I just grab all fies of my stuff move back place I had before and deleted the windows old folder. so didn't lose anything
I think you couldve done this WAY faster. First get surface recovery USB, plug it in, boot to it, and fix it. OR if they wanted their data, you couldve booted windows to safe mode and uninstalled drivers (that error code is due to driver issues or RAM) (with windows 10 recovery image not windows 11)
On the Surface Pro 6 as well as a bunch of other Surface Pro models you get a USB Type A port, a headphone jack, a **Mini Display Port** and the proprietary Surface Connect port which handles charging but can also be used for display output and various other IO using a hub/dock thingy. Been sitting screaming at my screen that he hasn’t plugged in the charger correctly lmao, they’re pretty easy to have latch on with their magnets but not actually go into the port as it’s a cylindrical thing with a narrow rectangular piece coming out to go into the port (kinda a tall and thin deal, looks slightly like an SD card slot, the way I’m describing it it sounds kinda fragile but it’s actually pretty robust in my experience, the chargers can have their own issues though… USB C charging all the way man)
do the power button then when it turns off power off and press and hold the power button and then power it on thats when Windows will detect that smth is off
*Like this is useless to like reinstall windows(it will take lots of time thats why i am saying this) on this this is an easy way without reinstalling windows* BOOT UP HIRENS BOOT CD Then open command propmt and run (sfc/scannow)(and sfc isnt build for ltos of damage) and the dism(this is also not build for lots of damage) command then use (bootrec /FixBoot) (bootrec /fixmbr) and the Outer's then to make sure its fixed use some recovery tools build in Hirens boot cd and the computer is fixed and also check some system files if there missing USE WINRE Like this is going to be harder but HIRENS boot cd is better: Open cmd we know how to do it then type sfc/scannow DISM command Or get a copy of a fresh windows boot loader and replace it with the normel one(i am saying this so if the boot loader is corrupted) and run more commands some bootrec commands Or even Use regedit and fix some keys THINGS I DIDDENT METION: There may be a driver issue making this so in Hirens boot cd check the drivers(This is nesssary) There may be malware on the computer making it not boot and it can be a kernel issue it may be not always a boot loader issue and try test disk by endermanch if it works

I never thought I’d see a touch screen tablet kind of thing that has bigger bezels than a iPad 7
Well these tablets are very big, I have a surface pro 5 myself and I actually prefer the bezels so my fingers don’t mess with the touch/screen.

Normally the charger has a usb port on the brick thing where the ac power cord

the mystery port is mini displayport
