- Building the structure under the floor that will be frame crossmembers and the mount for the transmission and transfer case. More tube work and getting everything to package right to clear everything that we still need to mount. Appreciate you all following along as we try and build this crazy machine. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

These videos are fun to watch. Youu guys know how to incorporate humour into everything. Thanks for the videos.
The more I see you guys build, the more amazed I am at your fabrication skills. Robby will take that when you are done and do the body work and paint it and it will be astounding and unique. By the way great lighter trick Shaun. And you didn't even get burned !
Love the fabrication and outside the box thinking going into this. Rory has it all built in his brain b4 he even starts. So awesome. Really enjoying this build
Rory thinks in 3D.
when he is explaining everything, I dont actually think its possible until he literally does it
14:12
Shawn sure is brave..
Knowing Mike's hammer history..!!!!
TrailMater crew, the real FAB CATS
Mad respect for Justin that he can turn cardboard into steel
He could have done the flame trick the same way if Shawn had not shown the lighter.
I love the Fab episodes. You guys literally could just make a business building wreckers and buggies and I'd be ok watching it!
Install the shifters upside down from roll cage like a old airplane with long cables. Shorten the levers for head clearance
I was thinking the same thing.
But get them out of the windshield 😮
Really appreciate you building this for Robbie, he gets an outstanding wrecker and we get great videos!
Trust me, he’s gonna spend 3 years trying to grind welds and another 4 trying to paint it. Dude is ridiculous.
Pretty neat design for the transmission mount cross member.
Love how you guys put stuff together. Keep up the good work.😊
That truck is coming along great, thanks for sharing, all the best to you all
I love how the fabrication just makes sense, nothing over the top or frilly , just plain works.
A stunning amount of work for a recovery truck. Outstanding workmanship
Man this wrecker had turned out badass!! You guys have done an epic job team!
MadMaxx ready for the apocalypse with those shifters
Just a quick observation, all 3 of y'all are really good fabricators.
Rory, Your videos are always creative, interesting and educational.
But never long enough 😢😂
@@JasonRutan-rv3djRory needs his own show on motor trend tv
These "shop" videos are literally the highlight of my week. Can't wait for the next one
This is why I've said I'd watch any number of commercials necessary to get this content. You guys are amazing. Henry never dreamed an AA would go where that AA is going to end up. Unreal build! Thanks
Rory snapping his finger and then "BAM" make it a piece could be an entire build for me!! I'd watch that aaaaaall damn day!!! If only it were that easy. lol Well done Justin.
Shawn the magic man...lol
Nice fabrication Mike and Rory...looking forward to the finished product.
Sweet ride
It doesn't get any better than this Rory, Shawn and Mike show getting it done on the Model AA wrecker making floor braces for the floor and transfer case install. Love these guys getting it done!
Thanks for sharing 😀👍
❤ awesume job guys ,robbys tow truck is looking good
Robby is going to have one bad ass wrecker
Y’all so much fun to watch
Creativity is captivating. Think it. Say it. Plot it. Fab it. Install it. Then conclude, “That’s not at all what I thought it would be!” At least that’s how the process works for me. 😅
I’m going to remember that sweet lighter magic!
That shifter is terrifying.
WOW! Good job plotting out that floor pan Mike!
TKS 👍 for sharing 😁.
Rory wanted to say thank u for the videos u make for us. Gives us some insight on how u think when fabricating and how it is completed appreciate u and keep them coming !!
Most awesome. I'm always laughing at you guys and your sence of humor.
Heck yeah !! Watching this tube work and fabrication is amazing !! 🎉🎉🎉 such great work
Teamwork makes Rory's dream work.......
Such a worn out, trite phrase that was ridiculous the first time it was ever uttered.😅
That thing is going to have more bars than the Las Vegas strip! Quite the party!
Key West MIGHT be a close 2nd!
Tell you what…. If this truck ever roles the drivers feet will be super safe!!!! Haha 😂 love this build. Fun seeing each section come together and overcoming no room issues with clever design!
As I sit here watching this, I realise I'm thoroughly enjoying the videos the last bunch of weeks. Between the model A, mater 0.6 and the other small builds, I'm really digging this down season.
I see Robby painting it blue and putting in a rag top. You two are all most holding hands inside 😅
Shaun's trick is best 👌🏻.
Can't wait to see this thing when it's done. I love all the tiny functional details that are going into every part of it.
Man I love the structure your giving it
Love seeing progress
I'm loving this build! Thanks for letting us hang out with you guys!!
I find this fabrication stuff very interesting, To be able to take raw metal of varying sizes and types and build this truck is amazing. Great stuff Rory, Shawn and Mike
You guys are doing a great job!!! + Magic tricks!!! LOL!!
Coming together nicely
Doing a great job thinking it out then fibbing it together, love the shop bantering, makes any job easier if everybody is having a good time working together. Kids to all, this baby gonna be nice!
This is just fun to watch. Being able to see the thought process, then see how the pieces are starting to fall together.
O.G.Mater love the build
Awesome job on the Wrecker👍

Shawn, that flame trick is HOT! 😅
Crazy to think Robbie has two trucks being built at one time
Your patience cutting everything with a grinder is amazing. I can’t live without my plasma.
Always good watching the comedy guys. Don't take life too serious it doesn't pay. Good video.
Looking wicked cool, fellas! 🙌🏼🐶
Awesome fab work !!
Looking good can't wait to see it done keep up the good work
"Bam" - Justin with the editing magic
Rory and team great work
Not only are you guys talented, inspiring fabricators, but the comedic banter is nonstop 😂
Your humility makes this amazing video even more special.
Okay bot.
It is so cool to witness the amazing amount of work and planning that goes into a custom build. Fantastic work boys !!!!!
Henry Ford is doing kart wheels 🛞 in his casket! He's probably hitting Edsel over the head with his tombstone 😅 As fugly as that thing is, you guys are making it look awesome! Love this frame work and like the old saying goes "You can't run on looks" Especially on this "Rustly Wreaker" She ain't the prom queen but she'll definitely do the job! 👍
Love this build, so entertaining to see your process.
At first I thought it was going to be a show queen..but this build is getting next level..thanks for the great metal fab
Lovin the Fabrication!! Keep it up!
Such a fun project! Looking great guys!
Thank you Rory , Mike and Shawn for the update on Robby's AA wrecker ! I really enjoy watching you guys create stuff as it gives me ideas for making stuff for my farm !
Three guys with their heads down doing their jobs moving forward and still find opportunities to get some shenanigans in. Highlight of my day. Thanks for bringing us into your little spot in the world.
That floor is going to outlast us all😂 awesome!
Perfect timing, another awesome video
Good innovation ! And coming along nicely ! Thanks for sharing !
It was pretty awesome seeing Trail Mater on I-70 Thursday 1/23.
Impressive, gentlemen.
Looking great gentlemen . Great fab . Strong metal everywhere
..
You guys are doing a great job on it & the flat floor going make it easy to clean after a muddy recovery !
Loving this build, lots of alternative and practical solutions, more please guys.
Great job again.
Going to be one cool truck
Thank you for showing the process & not skipping over what you are doing . Very informative! Nice work .
Shawn was trusting Mike a whooole lot with that hammer ( especially when he's seen what he can do to a thumb ). LOL
Going to be an awesome truck. You guys are rocking it!
That thing is looking amazing! I love these updates. People do not understand how hard it is to build something out of nothing.
Metal plaid, awesome!
Keep it up the good work
Great show, keep up the great work.
You guys are doing a great job. Not to mention, it is fun to watch those who enjoy what they are doing. The coolest part is the visualization of the finished product and the steps it takes to get there. Thanks for bringing us along on the adventure. I am looking forward to seeing what's next and eventually seeing the final product.
Shawn is the coolest cameraman in the shop videos.
Love watching you guys work this stuff out
Excellent fabrication and teamwork.
good job thanks for sharing
I doubt Henry ever dreamed one of his trucks would be custom fabricated to this level.
He wouldn't have thought to use GM engines and transmissions and transfer cases. Just think if Henry Ford was to dream up a 4 x 4 back when he started building cars and trucks. It would have replaced the horse and wagon, made for the hills!
Very nice very nice
looking better every time we see it.
