They just used the rhythm of a jazzy slow waltz. Not even used jazzy harmonies. More those of a bluesy ballad.
The singing is gorgeous. And the guitar comping clean and expressive.
Very nice.

Great Version...............sounds different.............but lots of class............... & mainly , is her style playing.............. I think Eric Clapton would like to listen to this one
