What you're looking for is 7:45 - You're welcome
Exactly - that's what i searched on youtube + the reason I clicked on the video. Didn't need a 10 minute video
Dude, i was just looking for a webcam! Not only that, but C# tutorials too! Man am i glad i found you haha!
Thank you for this review.. been trying to get one with the side by sides and yours was perfect, ty!!
Wow I was literally just looking at buying a webcam. Perfectly timed video!
Thanks so much for this specific comparison of the video quality between the two.
You sold me on the Brio to replace my C922. Currently the Brio is on a 15% discount in my country too.
Cheers!
Excellent upgrade from C922 Pro to BRIO 4K. However, 4K res. lacks typical software support unless utilizing OBS Studio or Xspit for streaming video.
Straight forward the most significant reason to get the BRIO 4K that it has better Audio quality than all other Logitech webcams. You will notice than C922 has better color control or less saturation even though the sharpness and details lack some. Autofocus is better on the C922, but it is recommended to turn it off. BRIO gives you the widescreen 90 degrees and better audio. They are both excellent webcams with minor flaws. I had purchased my BRIO 4K from Lenovo for $160 or 20 percent off in year 2020. Glad you received 15 percent off. The BRIO 4K is great for on the go and used with a laptop when you use Zoom or Skype. Otherwise, if you have a studio orientated room best to get a DSLR / EOS mirrorless camera such as Canon M50 or SONY A6000 and a RODE microphone or other mic. Proper lighting is recommended. It takes some time to learn how to use OBS-Studio or Streamlabs OBS which are Free compared to Xsplit. Wish you much success and be safe.
FINALLY! A helpful comparison with decent lighting. Thank you.
Finally somebody, who did a Test of the Brio in Propper Light and tinkering with the settings to get decent quality. Thanks for this video! This actually might make me get a Brio someday.
Thank you so much for making this video. I was pretty concerned because I ordered the cam for my blog and after I saw some samples that are here on RUclips videos and everything looked like crap! I was pretty sad about my purchase... But I have proper lightning equipment and all, so this video is exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you again!
Thank you for this great comparison video! Super helpful!
Very well structured video. Thanks for the detailed comparisons !
Great video! Did you ever make that video on the spesifics of the Brio? I couldn't find it when I searched your channel, but would love to see it.
I like all the information and details in this video. Then again, I have the patience as well as I don't make up my mind based on a quick video with little information. Great job.
I love this channel! ;) Amazing info...
Hello bro, i have the same camera and i want to make a video but i don´t know what kind of program i can use to record in the best quality video. If you can recommend me the best program to record and edit. THANKS!
What are your settings for the Brio? The video quality looks great and has little to no noise. Thanks.
This was extremely helpful, thank you!
Very good review, what type of lightening would you recommend buying?
thanks for doing this video... i have been searching for it whole youtube..
Fascinating. Your bad lighting example is still clearer than my setup with some lighting. I like the Brio thus far but I'm confused how it would look so good for you in medium to low lighting.

Thank you for making this video!
Sooo, what is the best webcam if i want something more professional? and if the answer is "use an dslr" do you think that i need an full frame dslr o a cheap dslr could do the job?
Thank you mmtuts, very helpful

Very nice review. Thank you!
Thank you for the lighting. I was looking for this. Haha
What a great video. Well explained. Thank you.
I wanted to upgrade from c920 to brio but are 2 problems,
1 not having that settings software of c920 drive me nuts and making me not buying it,
2.I tried to upgrade from c920 to bcc conference with remote control and sadly i returned it for a new c920.
Why?bec the sfotware so so poor and colors were so washed out.
THey may be ok for someone decoration, face skin but in my case for my home decoration and my light, sadly 920 was better/
2Second issue was the rightl light button.missing on bcc which i suspect brio also doesnt have it.
Every time i made a move on bcc the screen will turn white white,if i sat down, stand out,all the colors wouldchange drastically and it was awful.
that was the reason i returned it,
I dont get if they upgraded to brio or bcc an are decent cams but because of lack of right light and settings software, they loose alot.
I just dont understand !
hello! this is one of the best vids of brio. finally a realistic comparison between brio and c920.
i have a question, if you don't mind: does it work with a not so high speed processor? because i had a c930e and it was lagging even in 720p. the c920 doesn't have that lag. please if you have any idea, help me with that. this cam is pretty expensive and i wouldn't want to throw my money out the window. thank you!
great review ... where is your affiliate link for the camera ?
Informative video thank you :)
how do you setting?
Fantastic comparison, you did it right!
No information here about the audio quality- can you use your own external mic, with the c920? Music videos require better audio- thanks
Thank you Sweedish Elon Musk, great video
He's the Dutch Elon
Lmao
haha
He doesn't sound swedish whatsoever
He's neither, he's actualy danish.
Hi! nice comparison and enjoyed the 3 tier or 3 fold split screen. You never did quite finished the tutorial for the Logitech BRIO 4K. I was hoping for more. I strictly using the BRIO for Zoom but the software limits its full potential. It is difficult to incorporate OBS with the BRIO webcam then use it for Zoom. I have no need for streaming or recording my Zoom sessions. Its just the BRIO webcam and Zoom so, how do I improve the overall image for Zoom? The BRIO has the best Audio quality out of all the Logitech webcams, however the BRIO dual mics will be what I am using during Zoom as I do not have an separate mic. Thank you! wish you much success and stay safe.
Holy crap the brio looks amazing. I'm gonna recieve it tomorrow, I can't wait!
The Brio in 4k @ 30fps is VERY good. Especially considering we are not watching the video in 4k. Noticeably better than the 1080 mode.
nice vid man I can def see the difference however I am not sure if it is worth it to change... ugh money decisions.
Nice vid man, even after a couple of years lol. Keep it up
I have a question. I have purchased a BRIO, ran into issues with it. Purchased a second, same issues. I do not see any options with my camera for anything more than 60 FPS. I see options for various resolutions, however no havd 60 FPS. I have tried it with 3 computers. I had the geek squad at Best Buy try on a PC and MAC and same thing. We have tried it with windows 10 camera (have updated windows and the latest USB and camera drivers. Any ideas? The reason I bought the camera, was it does 1080P with 60 FPS. WHICH I suspect is much better than 1080P with 30??? HELP BTW i am using a Core i-5 8 gen
Hey there, i've recently just run into the same problem. The only reason for me was using this camera with 1080p and 60fps via OBS. No chance! As soon as i switch the resolution of the camera to 1080p i can't even choose 60 fps. 720p and 60fps is working though.
@@steinbeisserlp to get the brio working at 1080 60 fps you have to plug it in in an USB 3 port. If its in a USB 2 port it can only work at 30 fps
Thank you so much for your video, it was very useful to me 🤓
Nice comparision!
Hey mmtuts, the 1080 on the BRIO seems to look the best perspective, for some reason the C920 and even the BRIO 4k, looks like it's a little curved, but maybe that's due to how close you are to the camera? very good video though, exactly what I want to see when I'm considering one. it seems like the BRIO performs better in Low Light as well yeah?
I am glad someone did this in good lighting. What is the point of doing a webcam quality video if it's done in bad lighting?
probably the best review on youtube imho.
I like Victure Webcam SC30. The video is so great. Highly recommended~
I actually find the 1080p to be better quality then the 4K. It's a color thing for me. Looks like I am late to the "I need to buy a new wider angled field of view external webcam." Too many price gougers out there due to Covid19. I have an old Logitech C510 and works great, still. But, need a wider field of view for home use. Don't need for streaming, but video/audio chatting. My current C510 is to narrow in view. Any suggestions? Would love the Brio, but not for 200+ dollars.
How does the cam handle green screen? I'm still getting jagged edges around my profile when using the Chroma Key.
Handles green screen fine on my end. The only issue is with fast motion where 60fps recordings have a slight green tint to them. But this is something that can be removed in post production. The jagged edges you mention has a lot to do with the amount of light you use when you record, as well as which software you use to remove the green screen with. Something like OBS for streaming won't give you a perfect green screen.
@@Dani_Krossing Thanks for your comment, i'm using Streamlabs OBS and the jagged edges are pretty noticeable even with fine tuning the Chroma Key, i don't have that great lighting so that's something i'll look at. Cheers!
Where is the settings video?
nice finally some good looking 1080 out of a webcam
1080 looked way better and I understand your point and the benefits in post doing colorgrade or zooming clips with 4k.
I own a 2018 MacBook Pro. If I buy this camera, can I plug it and I'm good to go?
@Hallucinogenichusky my question is if its compatible with my machine.
supa cool , thanks !
Thank you!
Elsker din accent når du siger “brio”
where the heck is the sound test, jeezuz!
the contrast was actually better in 4k without any adobe editing I think. nice camera for sure though.
Thank you for doing this. You don't know how ridiculous it is to look for a test video when the creator doesn't even show but 2 seconds of footage lol
Interesting (if somewhat overly long) video.
I genuinely can't think of a use for a 4K webcam right now apart from some really really niche scenarios. It's worthless on Zoom/Teams/Webex etc as they're unlikely to transmit at even 1080p. I can see that the C920 has a different white balance (or maybe saturation) level. This is easily adjusted in settings.
He is right about lighting. In lower lighting, the C920 lowers its frame rates (increases exposure). This results in a brigher image, but a blurred effect on anything fast-ish moving. I would have very much liked to have seen that comparison.
So unless you plan on creating YT 4K videos where you MUST have a webcam (rather than - say - a GoPro 6+) then probably go for the C920.
720p video?
Just bought the C920 for our podcast. $100+ less on B&H right now.
bro that webcam is 49 dollars on amazon
OOP js would be very appreciated
it trips me out when theres three of you talking
So Elon Musk is doing webcam reviews on RUclips now? Is there anything that guy can't do?
He cant make an affordable electric car
No this is one of his clones called RUclips Elon. Now you know how he gets stuff done. Oops
Bruuhhh lol
no he does it all
@@Chris-hw4mq Tesla electric cars are affordable, think it they are high gamma cars, and they drive by themselves
I love the way you say brio lol
Why does my Brio 4k look SO PIXELATED, doesn't matter how much lighting I have?! I just bought it today and I don't understand why!
usb 3.0
@@zeroone3804 i have it
Make sure it's on via bios or the actual socket itself is 3.0 as some mobos have a mix, update mobo firmware. If 1080p looks fine then it seems like bandwidth issue
@@zeroone3804 Okay thank you. I'm actually using it on my laptop, maybe that's why. I bought a new expensive computer, hoping it will fix the quality issue there! Thank you for your time though ^^
@@FadiFlashi ohh yeah the brio also uses cpu and ram resources from actual pc. That's a big reason, 4k is 4 times the pixels of 1080p, Good luck.
El Wereverwero haciendo reviews.
I like the FLAT profile
well. with post processing or color correction you can match the 920 very close to the Brio.. the 920 acltually is pretty good and not over compressed with tons of contrast. but this is what cinema pro lenses are. low in contrast
wow, brio in 1080 wins
Good video👍 are you from Denmark?
@@tjk_prince me too 😁
You're awesome
What language am I listening to here?
you're look like a mix between Richard Branson & Elon Musk. Nevertheless good review.
I bought one of these and after 10+ hours of troubleshooting, fighting with drivers and reinstall of various Logitech software this camera has been unable to produce a clear image, i strongly recommend against anyone buying the brio. The driver and software issues are plentiful and the webcam doesn't seem to work at all with asmedia 3.1 usb controllers. I have tried various light setups, automatic vs manual exposure. third part software and i struggle to get the same quality that my c920 has given me for years. pass over the brio due to poor software support and wait for the next 1080p60fps camera for streaming, i haven't seen anything close to 4k looking images out of this camera. I will be returning this and waiting for a newer/better camera to be released that doesn't struggle with so many software/driver problems. if there is some secret to getting this webcam to have a clean feed please let me know! i will be returning it in about a week.
Well alright, but this video looks great? So maybe you didn't use the right settings and didn't have great lightning? I read about the issue with drivers, that they are far worse than those for older models, but the quality of this video is superb for a webcam and if he was able to set it up to look this nice, then it's possible some of you guys are doing something wrong.
the brio looks great but i already have the c920 from 7 years ago and tbh, the quality difference is not that great to worth buying the brio
Happy with my c920pro really god.
i make 1080p 60fps gaming videos so brio or a c920 i use green screen with very good lighting
ok thxs
Omg in each one of them u looks different... 😉 BTW it seems that the brio 1080p is the best one. Am I wrong?
4k is hard to beat, it just has more of a LOG look to it, aka a flatter color pallete which means you don't lose your highlights or shadows as easy. You can probably turn up the contrast which is basically all it is to get the same look at 1080 at a higher resolution.. on a 4k screen you would see a huge difference.
did not understand a word in english in first 5 seconds of video ! :D :D tought its some german or something
The accent kind of grows on ya.
I am so happy Barry Gibb found a new career to pursue after the BeeGees went defunct.
Always
Thank you Elon Musk, great video!
Price difference is huge though
you're so handsome:)
Nice vid but dude, honestly - it's HD / 4K - get a clean shirt next time ;)
IMO I think it looks better in 4k raw.
The logitech C920 is still awesome.
clearly he loves Naruto so much not only because hes got the figure in the background, but also likes to waste everyone's time with filler
wereverwero xddd
Seriously ? you are showing us how a 4k camera captures the image in a 1k video ? Strong logic you have there.
You are absolutely right, back then I was more concerned with improving the 1080p quality through downscaling 4K footage, since that is what I needed it for. In my defense, most people who specifically wanna upload 4K footage to RUclips, doesn't go around buying webcams. They buy a camera/camcorder since that is leaps ahead in quality than ANY 4K webcam. But I can see how it would be more useful to others, to have uploaded this in 4K for people who wanna use it for that.
Speaking of logic... There are a 100 ways to say something, ranging from toxic to kind and anything in-between. I can't see the logic behind creating a offending comment towards someone who is just uploading videos to help people. If you want to see a 4K version of the BRIO, I would have been more than willing to make it and link it to you afterwards. Could have it ready in less than an hour.
The product videos and descriptions are a lie.
These features were all removed. Or outsourced like "ChromaCam". But that does not work properly.
But they still advertise with it.
Are you Elon musk son?
thats not 4k its 2k
Lint remover. Get one. lol But thanks for the vid!
The BRIO cam is crap. I just bought one to try it out for streaming. I was hoping to get more clarity than the C920. The C920 looks so much better. The Brio has washed out grainy colors. I cannot recommend this camera for streaming
The colors look washed out because it gives you better raw quality. You need to increase the contrast when streaming to improve it.
@@Dani_Krossing Thanks I tried that and it does help some but it doesn't get rid of the grainy look. I just don't understand why this camera can't produce a smooth image like the C920 does. I can see the higher resolution detail but it comes at a cost of grainy washed out colors (even with more contrast). I'm a amateur with this stuff so maybe that's part of my issue but they should make this look better out of the box for end users with little video editing background.
@@Dani_Krossing hey, thanks for that tip, but like Chad711 said, how can i get the 2k or 4k to look smooth as well? like on my logitech capture it looks so nice... how can i get close to that result but with OBS?
ELON MUSK WE LOVE U !
