The "plant thing" is a laurel wreaths it comes from ancient greece and were awarded to victors in athletic competitions, particularly the Olympic Games, as well as to military heroes and later to poets and scholars. Today they are a classy symbol of victory, honors and excellence.
Excellent work again man, Thank You! What do You think about placing the contact form on the home page vs having a separate contact page with all the boring legal docs below ?
@@stevebuildswebsites thanks! Can I also ask - from your experience, how frequently can one successfully import & export a website built on one platform onto another ? Is that rare and insignificant when it comes to choosing a web-design provider cause most folks tend to rebuild websites from scratch when their business changes ??
@@Boonified It really can't be done with website builders these days. A few let you export to HTML (Webflow for example) but even that will take some work to migrate to a whole new platform. Most folks tend to rebuild from scratch unfortunately!
I tried the blank page option but there are lots of things i cant do for example move the logo to the left completely. Upload a different size image.etc
this video was great, Can you please explain the process or what it takes to make a website without a website builder (Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, etc...) Just the process, I'm looking for a video explaining the process but can't find one. Can you please point me in the right direction's.
Hey steve , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail and also help you with the overall youtube strategy and growth ! Pls let me know what do you think ?
Hey Steve, I just watched some of your videos and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. You're creating fire content man! I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and repurpose your long videos into highly engaging shorts? I can also make high CTR thumbnails for your channel. I'd love to here your thoughts on this!
I'd actually strongly disagree with you on this website. While the wireframe and layout of the site likely looked strong in concept, the execution of the UI design came up quite short. The lack of color makes the entire layout feel flat and unengaging. Additionally, there are several basic design issues that have been overlooked, including inconsistent margins and padding between elements, uneven font sizing that impacts readability, and poorly scaled icons. The varying content lengths combined with the center aligned text disrupt the visual balance of the design. If this site was made in house by the workers without any experience then good effort for sure. If this was something they paid for then they should be quite upset with the final product.
@@stevebuildswebsites I'd agree to an extent because customers don't have the knowledge to know they should care about it. A few small tweaks is all they would need to take this website from a jumbled mess of information no one will read to a quality web page that will drive some actual engagement. From my experience customers do care about a polished final product which this is not. Again if they did it themselves, then great job. If this was a product that was paid for then they should be greatly disappointed with this as a final product.
@@efeleven Well then, it's a good thing their website users are simply looking for information instead of impressing designers. As a designer/developer and a website user, this is the kind of website I appreciate. Sure, font-sizing and spacing could be tweaked for a better overall look and feel, but if I were looking for a carpet cleaning service, this site has all the right things to convince me to call them.

Customers don’t care about inconsistent padding, uneven font sizing or even lack of color. Designers do.
My $0.02 😊
