Hi Scotty🇺🇸, Great work I & nice explaned how it`s function👍🏻. Im sure there a lot of people who want to make a coversion.🙏🏻 Greetings.Hubertus🇳🇱🇳🇴☮🍀👍🏻🇺🇸
first spin! what a great milestone! i'd recommend something more on that negative bus bar... not just for dielectic but any possibility of vibration causing abrasion. Also, do you plan to enclose your battery box? Something with a melting point high enough to give occupants time to get out safely. Also, it would be good to have something more to completely eliminate anything dropping down into the section with those exposed contacts. Great job scotty! what awesome progress!
Thanks Frank! I have a thick plexiglass panel that will cover the top. I will also add some panels to the sides to protect the bus bars. Still more room to iterate and improve...
Very cool! Before buying the contactors, watch my next few videos, especially part 18 as I made changes to my parallel pack contactor arrangement. The most common contactor to get would be the Kilovac EV200 which is a little better. Thunderstruck and many other places sell them: www.thunderstruck-ev.com/main-contactor-economized.html
plz do a video on how not to die when working with high voltage lfp batteries when working on an electric convesion or plz refer me to someone, l live in South Africa and the only cheap batteries available for me are lfp 100 amp.
These battery modules contain 78 LFP pouch cells. So you just saw someone work with high voltage LFP batteries and not die 😌. Check out my previous video where I cover other LFP prismatic batteries and give more information on these modules: ruclips.net/video/brmrzalmewM/видео.html. Thanks for watching!
Great video Scotty ! Beautiful work ! Very impressive

Perfect timing I am doing a very similar build! And using your videos as a how to, the gigvac contactor link does not work any other recommendations?
