All vocals were recorded and mixed by myself. Note that I am not a studio engineer or a video pro. I'm just practicing and keeping myself occupied/entertained during the pandemic. :)

Demanufacture is a masterpiece, and Pisschrist may be one of the less known track of the record, while being one on the greatest.

Fear Factory has been my favorite band for so long with Pisschrist being the most important song. While Dino was constructing the machine, Burton's voice was the soul. The idea of Fear Factory without Burton feels like Type O Negative without Peter however, it's legally Dino's band and if he wants to move forward, he has the rights to do so and I'll give what he does a chance. I would listen to vocal covers trying to think of what sound I would see working even though I have no say nor should I.
But then, I eventually came to this cover you did and you made me emotionally feel something. You proved me right in that the band having a female voice works. Since hearing this, I wanted it to be you. I waited hoping that some day, I would check social media and find it happened. After finding out the new vocalist is a male (and I have a huge yet possibly wrong hunch on who it is), this won't be the case but, I still want it because you did for this piece of music what Burton accomplished.
Great job, Martyna. Your voice and how you use it deserves recognition.
Maybe one day FF comes to Europe and Martyna steps on stage for a song or 2 ..............

OMG! Random youtube recommedation for the win! I am in love ( I kid..I kid haha). Amazing covering. Covering anything sung by Burton C Bell is a challenge. And you answered it. You covered it but added your own unique vocal stylings rather than attempt to ape a completely different voice than your own with a slightly different styling to the clean vocal parts. Excellent.

Killed it! Never listened to Fear Factory before but it seems somewhat similar to ATH. Screams were really good but the cleans hit me even harder, that ending was beautiful! And I like what you did with all the colour filters and stuff!

I listened to this version, immediately followed by the FF original. I was disappointed ...by the original.,.. granted, BCB's performance was live, but still...what you did here made it feel somehow more direct and connected to the listener. More personal. And that wink at the end...I had to rewind to see if it was my imagination...just unexpected and absolutely dead sexy. I hope you tour in the States sometime, anywhere near Reno and I would crawl naked over broken glass to see you guys play live. Mon couer, tu es franchemment magnifique, et polyglot en plus...c'est pas juste ...tu es faite pour moi..je rigole, mais pas completement... un clin d'oeil a toi! Bonne continuation!

Very strong cover 🤘 Clean vocals could use a bit more work imo. Perhaps some pitch correction maybe. Like, it's probably not what I would have done, for instance, "so we lie" probably should have been an octave higher but it stays true to the original for the most part and I can appreciate that. Great job though and I think you'd make a good vocalist for Fear Factory should that be something you're interested in and if Dino wills it to be.

constructive critism: the original harsh vocals were legible. Yours aren't - it could be anything. The cleans are fkn great though, especiallly with the harmony - really hit the spot.

This is glory to our Heavenly Father and has brought tears and joy to me, ...as the original meant so much to me in a time of my life that was, shall we say, tumultuous and interesting. Well, like I said to Rachel Aspe you both have wonderful voice but you pick wrong Fear Factory songs for the cover. I'm not a hater or a wiseguy or a some sort of vocal coach expert. Actually this song is one of the most depressing song in their discography and you're trying to make it more uplifting by your own style. It's not working for me but other songs would do.
