Stay away from website developers and Fiverr is swarming with them. These advertise themselves as 'designers', but what you'll get is a copied WP open source website in which they'll put in your title and charge you a few hundred dollars. Not a scam as you will get something, but a rip-off and don't think you'll get a refund either.

I felt like something was wrong but there was no one to talk to that I could afford. I found RUclips help affter I spent everything I had on promotion. Now I am tryng to bo more detailed research and be more selective with my choices. Thank you I learned a lot
I was selling crypto services on Fiverr until some client did a false charge-back of 5 services after leaving me 5 5-star reviews and tips. Although Fiver states that they protect you against false charge-backs, they did not. I opened 10 customer service tickets to receive an explanation. The final result was that the client asked for a refund from his payment provider and Fiverr was not able to stop it. A $2.865 lesson learned, Fiverr states that they will have your back with false charge-backs, but they can´t commit to that. Think twice before you work with Fiverr, 1 client with bad intentions can pull all your profits away, even after tips and great reviews.

I've used Fiverr a lot for special effects on videos and I've had great results from them. However, the illustration gigs are pretty much 90% scams too. A few really talented artists with lots of good reviews, and about 90% of fake profile that simply steal the content of the good artists' images, passing them as their own. If you order an artwork through them, they usually trace something they find on Pixabay. 🤣🤣
NO! I would not recommend giving anyone from Fiverr access to your site like that. I've read too many sad stories of sites held hostage... Speed has a lot to do with your hosting plan and the size of your pictures. If you are concerned about speed, look into reducing the size of all your images.

There are a LOT of great gigs on Fiverr - this video is highlighting the bad ones to watch out for. After reviews, there's not much you can do to know if it's going to work out. We still use Fiverr for those kinds of tasks and generally have a good experience. Proofreading gigs are generally safe.
My personal top tip: The best way to proofread is to print it out and read it OUT LOUD even if there is no-one around. You will realise a lot. If you have to take a breath mid-sentence, it's too long. If you have to go over the sentence again because you didn't quite get it the first time round, re-write it. You should do this before you send it to an editor anyway.
Just been scammed on Fiverr. Turns out the 'original and bespoke' logo's I was paying a LOT more than $5 for were just being copied from other companies around the globe. If you have bought anything on Fiverr, do a few image searches now, before it's too late and your company gets sued for copyright breaches.

Jason, also i did 12 logo makers and all came up with the same thing all text based logo. Looks almost the say as the orginal i did form 5 till 50 but none of them where good and went in the trash. Most of them can do photoshop level 1 even i can do that. Als youtube intros there are a lot of scammers i had a intro made but the day after i seen that intro or outro like 10 times on youtube.
They all use Logo makers off the internet. I'm a graphic designer and start trying to get some side work on Fiverr and I'm not even going to try and do logos, because its flooded with all these fake stuff and my real logo making service would just be white noise.
It's ridiculous how many gigs do what you described now. I remember years ago you could get some people who would actually design logos, but now sellers have figured out a more profitable model and users have suffered for it 🙄

He also promised that he would stick with me through the upload. So I paid him the Kindle upload went through the print upload did not and despite his promises to assist me oh, the individual is pretty much ignoring me. Very disappointed and now I have to find someone else who can do the print formatting.

I have to somewhat disagree with you on the Instagram part.Follow/Unfollow does still work, just not as good as it used to. What I agree on, is that most sellers are not legit. I used to offer account manageement on fiverr myself, but I wasn't able to compete with the low prices. The software and proxies alone cost more than the service some account managers offered.
It's hard to compete with the bots/proxies.... I did use a service for Instagram doing the follow/unfollow but all those people we got were not nearly as engaged as the organic followers. F4F does work if you just care about the numbers, but not so much for engagement and long term growth.

Lot of these folks will use a logo generator. No one will put in hours of effort for 5 dollars. They use logo generator and crank out logos like a factory to make money. Those logo generators can be done in 5 minutes that mean you can make lots of logos in short amount of time.
So true! I bought those organic traffic gigs and they are all fake. I also tried the "marketing" one and they spammed Facebook groups that had nothing to do with my product... The Instagram "organic" stuff is also just a big fat lie.

Yes. Unless you find a gig with someone who specifically works with Thrive Themes; Upwork is going to be a better place to find a qualified person.

Not what the vid was getting at... It's a lot of hit or miss; but you will get work back. The issue we run into is the quality of work we get back
Fiverr itself is a scam, I'm sorry but they take huge commissions on every sale. You start noticing this when you are making your tax record!
Yeah, the commissions are pretty dang high but there are plenty of gigs on there that provide real value...Hope you find a solution that better for ya

I also tried the "marketing" one and they spammed Facebook groups that had nothing to do with my product...
The Instagram "organic" stuff is also just a big fat lie.
Sad you got bad results with those Fiverr gigs as well. It's crazy how many gigs are just spamming links that does little more than hurt your brand 😣

Not every gig is a bad idea and there are plenty that know what they are doing; just double check their work and you should be fine

There are quite a few bad eggs to look out for.
Fiverr and Upwork online support have refused to accept that their websites are populated with scammers and fake experts...

The just send your channel to a website to promote your channel but when you see the result it seems real but if watch your Analysis in RUclips studio you will see that all views are coming from internal
Which means they are not using RUclips seo or RUclips suggestion
