Interesting interview, give Travis credit, good questions, but one has to suspect even a teaching pro is not quite sure what Pete knows. Pete talks about loading shoulders, spiral motions and using bounce correctly. I am willing to bet, we can hear , but not completely understand the nuanced aspect of Pete’s knowledge.
If you combine this video and the shorter ones of Pete teaching it really does make sense. Especially the grip. He likens it to wringing out a towel to get equal and opposite pressure. That with loading the shoulders and then using the should muscles correctly on the down swing does make it so easy. An easy video to follow would be a lesson he give to a chap called James Robinson on RUclips.
Great work !!! Pete Cowan is a master. Amateurs practice this , it deserves your time. Your game will change forever.
This is GOLD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pete Cowen: most passionate golf coach in the game!
The straightest shots I have ever it are only by using the spiral way of hitting, especially the irons.

He's a riddler and won't give away his secrets for free.

@@jesusrevus8017 Funny, I watched that video and used the grip he suggested. It worked brilliantly
Like kids excited about the team format and probably cos they’ve been told to hype it up.
Stenson's problems got solved when they took his Ryder Cup Captaincy away and he got motivated.
probably a lot of truth in that - along with the putting
Pete Cowen would have been a good Engineer, (a real engineer btw ie civil, mechanical, electrical, not some guy who just comes out to fix your boiler)
PETE, see seem a little lost in this discussion.
Great teacher clearly, but he makes it sound far to complicated.
Not the prettiest finish. Doesn't really hold it. No club twirl. Very nordic. We know he loves that 3 wood.
Who cares? Ball flight is king.
WELL CHAP I WOULDENT ADVERTISE THAT IWAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH PGA YOU CAN BE MIXED UP IN A CORRUPT BUNCH
