I feel you. I was really looking into getting one of these cuties for this year and I saw that they no longer make them, now they are GLC and I do not like how that looks. 😔 So disappointing. They should've continued making the GLK with the same body style, just update the engine and interior.
+Kimmica20 They are not in production anymore!?......oh man....i wanted to get one for myself. I'm pretty sure it's reliable especially on long distance travel and rough roads.The Glc doesn't look that Good!.....I guess i'll have to take the X3 or Honda Cvr

I agree. The body style is very unique compared to all other small suvs. GLC is rather plain looking.
So true. In fact, one of the few vehicles with a unique style. So many look generic, even in higher end lines.

In my opinion glk's are one of the best in its class in regards to price reliability and holding its value. Even older models still shine like brand new I had a 2013 glk 350 then I sold it and bought the new e 350. Glk 350 is such a good secondary car that I may just buy it again.

The Demize
It would last upwards of ten years I just changed it because of personal preference
I love my GLK. It would have been nice to get an AMG model like a GLK63 AMG
They should kept the GLK styling on the GLC but the GLC looks like a soft, round marshmallow to me... like the C class sedan.
I love the boxy G-Wagen styling on the GLK
I like the shape of the original GLK. In a world of rounded SUVs (regular, crossovers, etc.), the first GLK series looked (and drove) like a freakin' Panzer; you could drive it over rails and it will just feel solid like a brick. It was the car you knew you could take cross-country and arrive fresh after hours of driving it. The only negative was poor mpg. Then MB rounded it up, and made it look goofy. Give me the old body style with the newer, fuel-efficient engines, and MB would had a winner.

dated? io'd say classic. the numeric keypad is used to make phone calls. access saved radio stations, and enter addresses for navigation. no need to do away with it.

This and the e class are my favorite Mercedes
I'm sure the GLK 350's design was derived by the G- Wagon.. it's a box, square style SUV, just smaller and more cost efficient

Henry Indrianto / HWI actually what I mean. It’s elegant the cabin is bigger than the older model. Runs smooth power drive back up camera. High Quality leather just it’s a great car. watch the video. what I’m gonna tell you is the same thing the guy on the video is telling you right now. I’ve moved on to the Amg 43 which is a complete different model.Mercedes brand is iconic brand in its self.

LaFlame they have a few where I live too. But they’re too expensive compared to newer Benz trucks

btw - you don't have to hold the key in the start position until the engine starts. Simply move the key to the start position and then release. The car will complete the start sequence (as with all non-keyless-go MB of the past 10 or so years).

Thing is i really like the GLK but the interior is just empty compared to the new C class

I AGREE WITH CARMON ON THE WHEELS BUT I DISAGREE WITH THE LED DAY TIME RUNING LEGHTS THERE NOT THAT OLD THAT OLD AND EVAN IF YOU GUY THINK THAT THEY ARE OLD THEY STILL LOOK AWSOME ON THE CAR SO I HOPE THEY KEEP THEM FOR A WHILE

Yes it's direct competition and they are finally starting to get rid of it, on the new 2015 C Class it's finally gone and on the new S Class

What’s wrong with buttons? Buttons can be found and operated entirely by touch, without taking your eyes off the road! What a clever innovation! I’d take buttons over ANYTHING on a touch screen, absolutely!

lol, even the low end cars are coming with "push start" and this one is still using a key.
fold all the seats in the rear and show cargo space with seats down and since you did not do it in this video every one on your cannel wants to see it with all seats down so do another video on the cargo space with all seats down in a shot video which should only be a minute anyway so do it asap
there's no point in doing that and wasting time

A decent review considering you didn't actually get to drive it. That said, I can't think of a single reason why someone would choose the 350 gasoline version over the diesel. I have just picked up a new 250Bluetec 4Matic and in the first week of ownership it has managed to average a remarkable 6.9L/100km (34m/USgallon for those who insist on sticking with neanderthal units of measure,lol) with a best of 6.3 (37mpg). And this is without giving up any refinement or civility. Incidentally, mine came with a standard first aid kit fitted in the little cubby hole in the luggage area.
Neanderthals flourished in what is Europe today, and geneticists have concluded that many of them interbred with Cro-Magnon, LOL.
At 1:38 he says you can tell it's a Mercedes by the led daytime running lights? What about the huge Star emblem on the grill? That is a much easier way to tell. This guy is an idiot. It's ridiculous to purchase the premium package for $3450 just to get a garage door opener. This should be standard equipment on a $40k vehicle.

Lexus's aren't that great..... Same with Acuras..... Same with Cadillac..... German cars (MB; BMW; VW; Audi) only good cars
