Tm-100 is the coolest of this 10 in my opinion, love for the reason i love the calculator watches, its 2 pieces of tech practically merged together to make a sick looking watch
I loved this video! I especially appreciated how quickly you scrolled through all 10 watches. My favorite Casio is the first Casio from 1974. The Casiotron 01-501. It's pure. It's clean. It's revolutionary and it sank the Swiss watch industry. The Casiotron was the Kamikaze of watches. If I were on a superyacht I would wear a Casiotron without shame.
For sure. I found a badly battered and corroded Casio CA-901 at a flea market and it was selling for fifty ZAR (3.45 USD). I bought it without thinking twice and brought it back from the dead with NOS parts purchased on eBay to replace case and top pushers. I also cleaned module, which had a lot of battery acid leakage. Now it is fully working again and I am thrilled.
The game watches especially a gm 401. I have 4. Only 1 works perfect. You have to play several levels of the game mode to discover if its faulty or not. I have 2 nos condition. 1 works without freezing the other once you play a few levels of the game freezes. Have to refit battery carefully which can take up to 10 mins. ( replacing batteries on vintage casios is extremely tricky)
Add the TS-100/150 and TE-2500 to the list. Also add one of those voice recording watches to the list too hehe. I have flipped a AE-200 and own the CFX-200, the predecessor of the CFX-400.
I had the DBX-100 and love the big display. Sadly the keypads became sticky after a while, making it totally useless. The keypad also attracts dust and scratches easily too.
If you are in a Facebook group for Casio enthusiasts I would try there as they know the value. Else eBay would be the place, just make sure to offer it worldwide.
Can you maybe tell me anything about the Casio Hotbiz? I just bought a couple of these and they're pretty neat, but I have no idea what it's all capable of. Can't seem to find anything about these watches.
I would swap the CFX-400 for the CFX-200 especially from a collectors perspective. The buttons on the CFX-400 are highly affected by their age. It's almost impossible to really use it without damaging the panel where you have to press. The CFX-200 on the other hand has pushers that stood the test of time. I purchased a CFX-200 and i regulary use it despite it is a quite expensive vintage watch. Also the Design is more unique on the CFX-200. The CFX-400 looks like a modern DBC-611
Very interesting list! Some watches that I didn't know yet. I have a DBX-100 with the keyboard in good condition. Bought it about 10 to 15 years ago new for 80 Euro. The keyboard had indeed melted, but quite some time later someone was selling a NOS case on eBay, so I bought it and haven't worn the watch since. I own a small collection of Casio watches and like the FS-02 a lot, with a round dot-matrix display, digit or dial modes, cool animations, databank and EL backlight. I also have an Aegis tele-pad watch, which is a VDB-1000 with the dot-matrix touch display. I was expecting to see that one in your list. I also have the surfing game watch (bought new a couple of years ago), shown in your intro, but it needs the wristband pins and I don't know their diameter. A digital plus jump-hour watch and the count down timer watch with the count down dial. Among some other interesting models. I also lucked out with a new alarm clock version of the Cosmo Phase watch, for only 10 Euro.
@@digitalcasio2704 The DB-1000 is a very cool watch as well. I really lucked out with my DBX-100, I didn't know about it when I bought it, I just really liked the design and the dot matrix display. And then I lucked out with the replacement housing as well.
Very interesting video. I think you have also rarest casio marlin gold w-750g and w-35g. And also rarest WS-70 gold sailorboat. Only two or three watches in the world the latest....
The quick scroll through the various Casio watches at the beginning were more interesting than your top 10 choices. Wish you would have slowed it down more
Amazed at your level of knowledge. I'm on a quest to find again the Casio watch I had as a kid in the mid-90s but I don't know where to start, aside from my blurry memories of the watch. Do you have a solid database of modules I could find online? There's a shit ton of G-Shock resources but none for the sport watches and youth watches lines it probably belonged to... Thanks in advance !
There are a number of websites to check out: www.casiodigitalwatches.com/index.htm www.digital-watch.com/DWL www.javiergutierrezchamorro.com/listado-de-modelos-casio-antiguos/
There is the AX-1 which is a painted silver resin model. All the other AX models are stainless steel versions and are all the same shape. They are the AX-210, AX-250 and the AX-510.
My favourite Casios are the F-100, because that was my first Casio, bought in 1978, and the VDB-1000 touch-screen graphic dot-matrix display one, that I also had sometimes in the 1990s.
I have a digital watch from the early 80s, it seems cheap, it doesn't say who the manufacturer is at all, it just says Levis® on the glass, on the lid made in hong kong, and inside on the printed board "LEVIS AUSTRIA TLX133858 12". I was wondering if you might know who the manufacturer is.
I own casio cfx-200,400, cgw-90, gmw-60, tm-100, ca-502, bp-300, cmd-40, dbc-v500, uv-700, abc-30, an-8. There is an error in the subtitles The module number of the CFX-400 is 463 197 is the module number of the CFX-200
Well spotted. Thanks for correcting that. Your collection has some very collectible pieces, nice. I have been wanting the AN-8 for a long time, it was love at first sight. One day I hope I can afford one. Thanks for the comment.
Hi! Just reach your channel. Love your videos. I've got a question and I think you are more qualified to answer it. I've found in a local market (I'm from a little city in Argentina) a NOS Casio Data Bank DB 31 made in Korea at a price of around 50 dollars. What do you think? Thank you very much.
No I don't. All I can reccomend is to search ebay and save the search to notify you if one be be omes available. Alternatively, you could look for a non working watch and switch out the modules. I did this with my AE-210. Good luck.
there is a watch that you don't have... you don't even know it exists... but I do! it's the casio dictionary te-2500, I have it but it hasn't worked for years... I bought it when it came out new!!! And it helped me a lot at school hahahahahahahahahahaha especially with English, it has 36 phrases in 5 languages including Spanish and a Spanish-English dictionary with more than 1000 words. And as we watch collectors in Latin America say: CASIO DOESN'T COUNT!!! they are so good and so cheap...

I love classic Casio watches, especially ones like the AX-250, I love the design of the segments!
I wish you would come back and make more videos. Whatever you're doing, I hope you're all right.
It pays to sift through yards sales and farmers market resale tables. Never know what you may find.

Casio from that time are fantastic. I wishes they build them again like this.
The futuristic WV-300 stainless steel model is my EDC. Solar powered still working.
I had a casio watch that played hey jude and yesterday can't find any trace of one now
Excellent collection my friend. Some highly exotic and expensive Casio's in there! I love the DBX-100 personally!! Great video and thumbs up!!
I really want one of those astronomy watches casio did.
Nice Casio Watches
I have no8, no4, and no3 - thank you for your top 10.....
WOW, a Casio watch with an antennae. That's a first for me. Never knew that existed.
my favs (I am a collector too):
gm-20, sfx-200 and ca-901 calculator watches, w-750 marlin and my number 1: w-350 marlin
I used to have a Flightplanner DW7700 954 which was very solidly made. You could add text which scrolled when the alarm sounded.
Love that casio tm 100 transmitter watch this is a unicorn watch for me

Fun fact. The voice narrating this awesome video is actually Korg from Thor Ragnarok.

My favourite is the casio pulse watch with the blue button (1987). 509 jp100w
Excellent video. I had no idea Casio did digital watches as far back as the 1970's
I'm glad you liked the video.
I had the DBX-100 and love the big display. Sadly the keypads became sticky after a while, making it totally useless. The keypad also attracts dust and scratches easily too.
Where can I sell mine at.?
If you are in a Facebook group for Casio enthusiasts I would try there as they know the value. Else eBay would be the place, just make sure to offer it worldwide.
You should have added Casio 12 melody alarm watch and Casio Blue thunder.
There is an ana digital watch and the analogue hands are digital too. I wish Casio would release it again!
I agree. Casio are missing out on a big market.
This is awesome haha. I'm constantly amazed by the sheer number of watches Casio has created. Nice vid!
Yes we have more than a lifetime's worth of material to work with. Thank you.

That AX-5, lovely
"Straight Flush". That 5 card poker watch from around 1986.

Nice collection, could you please tell me when they first used lithium batteries. Thanks.
I don't really know, but the watches started appearing about 1979 with lithium text on the cases. Maybe someone else has a more definite answer.
Nice dude. The F91W should be in there somewhere. Thx for a good review
It was definitely a contender.
I had F91W 25 years ago and I was not impresed.W59 was way better.
I do have the AX 5 digi king and the chrome plated digi king these watches share the same case GM 20 the chrome case and the casio GM40
