I remember when the first trailer came out in 2020, at a time when nobody in China wanted to develop AAA single player games, as a somewhat desperate attempt for the studio to hire more dev talent, and it blew everyone's mind. It also blew up the stagnant Chinese single player games industry. Now we're about to be able to play it, and many other dev teams in China are looking at how Wukong will perform. This game is literally making history. Can't wait to play it! Just 11 years, no, days away!

So, fun fact about the last 4 figures in the trailer. I believe, and it's been a long time since I've read the Journey to the West novel, but I think they're called the 4 Divine Kings, or Great Kings, something along those lines. It's a big spectacle fight in the novel and I can't wait to see how they translate it in-game!

the last scene, Son wukong talk with other person in a blaze protection circle . I guess palyers get help from the NPC to learn skills or configure your kong fu moves and magics or you can get cues to beat monsters from the NPC.
