I like u-tips, I prefer Itips, been using them for a decade and they are amazing. I personally don't understand how anyone uses tape-ins, they have been an utter nightmare each and every time I use them, but to each their own! But thank you for doing this video because these are so much easier and so much better for your hair and they look so real and they are just absolutely amazing! They get a bad rap, and they are very time intensive but you know beauty is pain so lol
I-tips are looped then held in place with micro beads instead of fused with the hair itself normally in my experience. If you want to do permanent/keratin bonded extensions, using loose hair, a hot tool, and beads of keratin is probably easiest. Idk how much glue is on each utip but every bead is close to the same amount. I just don't know how anyone would ever do a full head themselves. Even with microbeads and itips I had to have someone install for me.
It’s remarkable how many ways there are now to do extensions! Back in the dark ages when I 1st started doing them on punks, goths it was so very different (only synthetic hair, later I discovered where I could get human hair & did the same way😮) & somewhat damaging. If I told you what adhesives & methods… we’ll not go there! I so need a boost around my crown but I’ve yet to find something that doesn’t show thru😕. Jet 😘💚💫
Wow thank you! this was amazing--can't wait to try it out once I'm done with my current tape ins. I have been snipping my tape-ins in half, so they aren't as prone to showing, and I am curious if using these might be more convenient. I would love to hear some more of the pros and cons of tape-ins, u-tips, and i-tips since I only have used tape ins. Also very curious if u-tips/i-tips can ever be reused/reinstalled or if that is exclusive to tape-ins.
Can anyone help me? I have very thin hair, especially around the front! I have RA and not much patience and no one to help me. WHAT ARE THE EASIEST, FASTEST, extensions for front and bang areas please?
A PITA from what I understand, the goal with keratin bonded extensions is long wear time. They used to be called permanent extensions in the Y2K era. But it's possible with a special remover or acetone and pliers.
Are these making a comeback lol idk how I'd ever complete on myself but have considered it many times just for the long wear time (unless removed early with adhesive remover and pliers). Have you heard about uv light extensions?? It uses raw/loose hair with uv bonding glue that allegedly cures in 8-10 seconds and CURES CLEAR/INVISIBLE. idk I won't believe it till I see it 😂 Also, injection tape ins seem like a massive upgrade (been out of the extension loop for past 5-6 years so catching up on the new tech) but wear time and tape quality seems equivalent to standard tape ins fortunately or unfortunately. They look a lot more concealable though, esp if you use the single panel method but haven't tried it yet.
Love your personality

Do you do your Itips yourself? If so please leave any tips you don't mind sharing I want to cover that soon!
How long before they need to be replaced? Like Britnee I have that same problem in the front and I think these would be great for that!

Omg so cool!!! Thank you for doing another extension video!❤️👱🏼♀️
I know right! Wish she was a hydra so we could see her do more. Definitely my favorite person to learn from.
thank YOU for being here!
@ ☺️❤️!!!!
Somethin cooool 😂 I’ve never had extensions nor did I know there were sooo many kinds! 😊
Love u tips but also flat tips. Flat tips are easier to cut into micro mini extensions. Have you tried Ice Extensions! They are basically super glue 😂

Can you reuse those?
Wonder how they are to remove?

Is there a way to do i-tip extensions yourself?
