I know a ton of stylists (including myself) that prefer your tutorial over the $300 classes they took! Love it!
My class was 4000 and i feel like i learnt more from this
That is EXACTLY why I am here. My babe extension class was almost 150$ with tax and the access expired before I could even finish it.
❤your amazing Thankyou so much - may I ask where you get your hair extensions from ? I’m in Canada
Nice job!! 💯✔️👍💕🥰
They are like 1500 now!!🙄
I think this may have been the easiest most clearest tutorial I have watched. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
this is what i pay $800 for every 6 weeks i’m going to have to make my boyfriend learn how to do it for me thank you!
800?!
That’s crazy…..I just finished a head and she paid $300
i made my bf learn too hhaha
I did he learn and does a good job
Sameeeee lol
Just did my wife’s hair for the first time! Thanks for the help!
Watching in 2024, best tutorial I’ve seen, clear understandable straight to the point. Thank you
By far the best tutorial I have come across thank you!
I really just wanna come on here and thank you from the bottom of my heart for this video. I am currently in cosmetology school about to graduate in July and have been wanting to do hand tied extensions since I started but it’s not taught very long in the program and your video has taught me so much! You encouraged me to just teach myself how to do hand tied extensions since I don’t currently have the money to take the course right now .
love that💗💗
Please don’t teach yourself. Get properly certified
@@xomisscaitlinox you really can teach yourself. Weaving/Extension certifications aren’t legit. You can find your own hair vendor, products etc to use. We’ve (black people) are very innovative, creative and self efficient.
@@WholyHair do u do tape hair extensions too? I would love to see a video on this and the placement pattern you use for a standard 40 piece head ive done a few courses but they were useless and im not confident to do it
@@jessicawhitfield5674 coming soon 💗💗
Best Braidless sew in tutorial on RUclips
I just love your videos!!❤❤ Can you do one on why you choose the extension products you use? The hair, the beads & the yarn? Also the products you like for caring for extensions? Thanks mucho!!
This is how my hairdresser does my weave, and it last for 6 weeks minimum before I need a tighten 👏🏻❤️
you are seriously an angel for this oh my gosh
thank you ❤️ if you want to get certified in my new more secure method check it out at wholyhair.com 🥰
I've been getting hand tied extentions for 2 years now and talk about $$$. I'm going to sit down and teach my husband how to do this. Wish us luck
Yo OO también le enseñaré ami esposo para que el me peine hi le pagaré lo que se merece 😜
This video is old, but I i still wanted to thank you for this 😍 I am one of those girls that is always saying " I can do it myself for way cheaper" and heading to RUclips to teach myself. This tutorial is super clear and to the point, I'm grateful. 🖤🖤
yay!!!! love that 💗💗💗
Girl this has me even questioning if I want to fork out money for a certification now! This is amazing THANK YOU!
Glad it was helpful! Certification is helpful but not always necessary! I'll be releasing my perfected method soon! Go to wholyhair.com if you'd like to get on the waiting list for my future classes💗
So its basically a braidless sew in ❤👍🏽
yes!
I'm dead😂
Yes but there is different hair as well, the handtieds should be the most expensive alternative to a braidless sew in. The hair always has to be taken down per move up and reinstalled, depending on the different method of beading used at the install.
Yep. The Caucasian dupe ! Per usual
@@tonyad.eggleston8793 Exactly lmao @ "handtied" 🥴
Just did my wife’s hair. Never done anything like it before. The beads were easy. The threading tested my patience. But we made it. My first time came out better than her hair girl 😬
I love you. Self taught or not. You are excellent!! And so real
thank youuuu💗
Thank you so much for this video, you are explaining everything so detailed and easy, I’m getting ready to start doing hand tied extensions on a few of my friends and then clients.
Thank you again 🙏🏻❤️
if you’d like to book a one on one virtual class dm me on instagram! 💗
Spent 1000 on a class. This is exactly the method they taught. Not all hero’s wear capes
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you for this video... I’m not about to pay someone $1700 for this when I can do it myself ✌🏻😆
What exactly do the beads do? Do you space them out and that just helps secure the extension?
It was a great turtorial but I wouldve liked to have seen a little more before and after it was so fast! Thanks for showing us though!
I agree the after wasn’t even shown…..
I'm brand new to hair extensions and am stressed about offering them -- this video helped to ease my worries and makes the installation seem so simple and straightforward!! Thank you.
@@trinityfaithnorth11423 I also have a certification course at wholyhair.com where I go more in depth on how to offer them to your clients, and I teach my secure method that’s better than this one💗
Best tutorial I’ve seen. Thank you so much!!!
I love these videos and I really appreciate you sharing your skills! I’m wondering what the benefits of this method is vs the other one? This seems like it would be more damaging, what do you think?
I’m wondering the same thing! I have pieces on my sides for fullness. I may do this method on one side and the other method on the other side to make my decision 😆
it really depends on the density and lifestyle of the client, I wouldn’t say this method is more “damaging” but the other method where you sew to the string is more gentle on the clients hair so is meant for finer texture hair
Good for you! I LOVE that you’re an independent creative artist rather than just doing exactly what you’re supposed to do!
Thank you so much for showing a method that can be used to sew in wefts without using cornrows as the base to sew onto. I love your video.
I'll be releasing my perfected method soon! Go to wholyhair.com if you'd like to get on the waiting list for my future classes💗
Do a video on the invisible bead method
Thanks your so amazing! Good hearted hopefully baby is here healthy!
Good video you seem like a very nice hair stylist and a very nice person:-)
thats so sweet, thank you!
This tutorial is so helpful and amazing!!!!! I have extensions that are about a year old, gently used (as in used twice) and no salon will take me in unless I buy new ones
Thanks to your video, my little sister can now do my extensions for a wedding 😘😘😘😘😘😘
You are such a blessing 🥺💖💖💖 I took a class and was still confused but after watching this ?! Easy peasy!!! 1000 times Thank you 💖
Yayyy I'm so glad! If you need any more training, I'll be releasing my perfected method soon! Go to wholyhair.com if you'd like to get on the waiting list for my future classes💗
Thank you so much for sharing this!! I am just starting to teach myself this method on my own as well and your videos have been sooo helpful you’re awesome!💖
Could you do a video on color matching and how you sew the wefts together for the rows?
You don’t always have to see the Wefts together! Just stack them on top and use clips to secure while installing
Thank you SO much for such a in depth video!
I’m sincerely so grateful for the time you took to educate us!
❤🙏🏾
7:02 good tip thank you
beautiful work - you are way better at this than I am ha ha it's the video that makes it look quick and easy
wow I have a new respect for your work. My back hurts. I crimp to hard and have fat fingers. She had retipped the strands and clipped the ends some were kind of fat. There is a technique to it. I just wanted to say your client was very good. We watched Mulan together and this time it was much better. Practice! She was right I got it figured out about the time we got finished. Looks good and my daughter is happy that is what counts.
It is part art and part skill. She handed me the strands and loaded the tool so I had a helper. I put my comb, wire threading gizmo and plyers in the crack between the head rest and chair. It worked really well after I got situated. Be patient - definitely get a helper - the comment of the woman who will have her boyfriend help was smart it is or was for me a wonderful opportunity to bond. You do quality work and share with us here your experience - I just wanted to follow up and say, once again. Thank you
Oh note: I had to take three out uncrimp? anyhow it happens, and do over. The amount of hair and size of tip make a difference. We put the tip under the little bundle to hide it and did not stick it in quite so far as the last time - it is more comfortable for her. The client knows how it feels. Keep up the good work
🌹
Hi thank u for ur goood teaching
🙏🙏🙏
I really like ur shampoo basin
where did u buy??
Minerva
Are you only using 1 piece of handtied hair?
How many rows do you do? On a person with fine hair. And where do you get your hair?
Very well taught 😊thank you will reference from this again 😍
Appreciate your detailed clear explanation and wish u all the luck 👌
Thank you!!! Go to wholyhair.com if you'd like to get on the waiting list for my future classes💗
Took your advice and didn’t get my extensions certification but used this video and results were amazing !
Thank you ! I would’ve totally payed the education but the amount it has changed in classes is insane & just grateful I saw this before !
My client has thick hair , & not only was her regrowth comfortable but lasted the 4-6 weeks !
I will be seeing my client again today so just wanted to share how great my experience was🙏🏼
wow, that’s amazing 💗 I love to hear it!
This was awesome! I definitely plan to practice with my Manikin head soon. And I didn’t know you could just order the jz styles equipment. That will save me a ton. Thanks for all you do!
You can order the beads at Amazon and some of the tools, it's so easy
Great tutorial! What hair do you use ? I’m looking to start doing extensions too
I have a shop on a reservation everyone has long thick native hair it's still fun to watch tho
Hey as a fellow extension. Tech I just want to tell you, your beads are far too close to the scalp and will cause tension And breakage. Lower them down slightly!!
When you say under the bead, do you mean through the bead?
Thanks so much for this informative, simple tutorial. I am a DIY wire and I’m going to temp this on myself fingers crossed. Do you happen to know if I do more than one layer of west, how far apart they should be from one another? Should there be any hair in between the layers? Thanks for your help keep up the great videos!
Was you able to do it
Love the video, can you explain what the beads actually do though? Are you stitching through them?
Wondering the same
So you only sew the two wefts on top and not underneath? I thought you usually stack them one on top and one underneath. Thanks
Loved this but if ur adding more than 1 row how do u do ur placement style then? Can u show and explain that please
I'll be releasing my perfected method soon! Go to wholyhair.com if you'd like to get on the waiting list for my future classes💗
HI, HOW MANY WEFTS DID YOU PUT IN & HOW LONG DID THE WHOLE INSTALL TAKE ?
Go to wholyhair.com if you want to get on the waiting list for my future classes💗 I'll have many more details coming soon!
Thank you so so much for this video!! I’ve been a hairstylist for 5 years and was only taught bead in, braid in, and tape in extensions back in school. I appreciate you so much😩❤️
you are so welcome!! Go to wholyhair.com if you want to get on the waiting list for my classes!
This is literally a sew in extensions 😂
Thank you so much for sharing!!! ❤
Thanks so much I'm just getting started. How did you know what to charge?
Do you use more of the yarn type of thread or the kind that Bellami uses? I preferred the yarn… just wondering, thank you
this was awesome thank you so much for the vid
Im a lic cosmetologist but never done extensions except a quick class in school. I want to buy the hair and practice on my daughter. Can you tell me good hair companies I can order hair from using my license online. Love the videos, Thanks
coco marie, bellohaven, bombshell, habit hair, bellami, babe hair. i have used or known of others that have used all of these!
you just radiate peace and kindness. nothing to do with the videos subject. just an observation
that is so sweet🥰 thank you!!!
I really appreciate this video. I'm not paying thousands of dollars for a course. This video covers the basics, and I'm now confident that I can teach myself. My suite neighbor taught herself, and she said she'd help me learn. But I can totally do this! Thanks for you giving me the confidence!
5:31 she stopped talking and stary doing
Wow you did an amazing job with this Tutorial.👏👏👏
I enjoyed a lot thatching your video
Thank you so much
Thank you for these videos! You have such a calming presence, I could watch your videos all day lol I worked as a receptionist in a salon for years and loved watching the process and hanging with my hair gals haha I have been considering getting this done, and wanted to see it done start to finish, and now I’m subscribed to your channel 😊
awwwh love that 🥰🥰
this method looks wayyy easier than threading the string through when you put the beads in
it is! I use both methods depending on the thickness of the clients hair
Someone asked me do I do hand tied extension, I'm like uh no never heard of it. lol so I came to RUclips to see omg 🤣🤣.. This method...I guess everyone has A different name.. We call this the Malaysian, braidless sew in, or link extensions. Well Darn. Been doing this for years literally I was clueless when asked about this. 🤦🏽♀🤦🏽♀
Thank you so much. Finally i found a good tutorial
It does depend on their hair thickness etc
Yeah imma have someone learn for me cause I hate paying $250 a row a move up every damn 5 weeks
Thank you for this awesome video!!
Of course, so glad you like it! Go to wholyhair.com if you want to get on the waiting list for my future classes💗
Where would you place your second row if you needed to ad another?
I have so many more details coming soon, go to wholyhair.com if you want to get on the waiting list for my future classes💗
Love your video! Do you know hair extensions from Parahair? I used them for many years and highly recommend this brand !
Helpful hint from fellow stylist! I alwYAs pick a bead that closest to the color of the hair closest to the scalp! Helps blending an up do or pony/bun so much better! ❤️ your amazing at what you do tho.
agree annnnd the top of weft should also blend :)
Yes!!! Root matched bead and thread. I would’ve also rooted the hair to match her color. They’re xtra details but it’s the little things that set apart certain stylists from the rest. Extensions should be seamless and undetectable. Unfortunately, while the install isn’t bad, all of those lack of attention to details will make this install stick out like a sore thumb. When her hair moves, you’re going to see every single thing with these extensions.
Do you have a certain brand of hair you prefer? Or do you just get a weft you love at the wig shop?
I use hot heads hair
@@WholyHair in some of the pavks I've had smaller wefts for the sides. Have you ever felt the need to add them in?
Me sitting here wondering why she needs extensions 😒I’d kill to have her hair
THANK YOU 🙌🙌
Question for you or any hair stylists who does hand tied extensions. I have thinner hair than the girl in the video so I’ve previously had two rows with 2 wefts on each row 15in-16in long. How much would you charge for the hair and install of two rows?
Great tutorial! If you don’t mind me asking, how much do you charge for a service like this? I want to start offering this method of extensions to my clients 🙂
Hi, so I have a question. Can you put a second weft over the 1st one? Or do you need to do another row with the beads?
@@johanahare4326 I’m licensed and I double my wefts when I do traditional sew ins. Naturally I’d double the weft for this method as well. But I think it would only work for clients who have a little less than thick density if that makes sense. That way it looks natural & not bulky
buen trabajo.y limpio❤❤❤❤❤❤
How do you suggest putting in more weft for someone who has thicker hair or they need more coverage on the sides?
How short can the hair be for this method to blend?
Thank you so much for the video. I will definitely be trying this out soon
there are many ways to go about putting these in on the sides, etc. i’ll be doing a video soon of a full head application
Nice,so is this method more comfortable for the client?
Nice technique. I trained under hair talk company and it’s a lovely method, Great job.
Your video just changed my life! I'm so excited to try this on myself! The trickiest part is going to be installing the beads bc my arms are going to be tired lol.
Are you picking up Hair in between the beads as you sew it in or are you just looping it around the left itself until you get to the next bead?
Where do you purchase the hair? I am having a hard time finding good quality hair to resell to clients
I agree, i’ve had so much trouble finding good quality hair so i’ve decided to source it myself! I will be launching my Wholy Hair later this year to my certified stylists 💗
So this is basically a sew-in without the braid. I'm assuming caucasians have to use the beads because a braid would slip out out or loosen.
Does this hurt getting it done or after ?
When I click the links for the JZ styles products it just shows me the main screen it doesn’t actually take me to which product you use
Anyone in Louisiana that offer hand tied extension services? I would really like my hair done and had no luck finding someone near me….
I wonder if I can just do this on myself honestly
How many wefts do u do usually on one head or how many rows did u do on her!?
I did two rows on her! the most i’ve done is 4 rows, typically i’ll do 2-3
Thanks! Where do you buy the hand tied weft?
The moist doesn’t stay in the bead and hair won’t rot if left too king ? How long they stay in for ?
You have to be really careful to make sure you're drying your hair thoroughly and washing/rinsing very well. It's going to be much different than how you are used to washing your hair. Usually 6-10 weeks before they need to be tightened or moved up to the root. It depends on the person and how fast your hair grows
I have a question I got this done and I noticed she was thinking my hair with a blade is that normal ?
nice video and good luck for new videos😊
I’ve seen where the beds hold the weft and natural
Hair is that another technique
Does the string go side of the bead or like back or the bead? Thanks so much! I paid £500 for a class and now I can’t remember how to do the string :( xx
You go through the bead and then the side if I’m correct.
Lol i do this to my 4 year old, she wants colorful hair so i do a very similar thing with hair tinsel
