    Thank you so much for this, the effort you made to ensure we could see what you were doing - ie not blocking the camera is greatly appreciated. Almost every video I watched had instructors hands blocking the view constantly. so I could only pick up little bits with various videos. I just started working with extensions for fun after 16 years of doing my own hair every which way, and I'm learning that extensions involves almost needing blueprints to map them out considering you want to be able to wear them down and up in various styles.

      The curved needle is honestly super easy and doesn't hurt at all. You can also apply it with no thread and just the beads. Here is a quick video from our interest shoiwning this method pin.it/7e26vDq

      If we want to put our hair up a lot do we put the bead a tad bit farther
      From the scalp? Or do we put it the way you did? Are you able to put your hair up without any pain?

    • @GemstoneDragonPrincess24
      @GemstoneDragonPrincess24 7 дней назад

      A regular needle will work as long as the eye is big enough for the type of thread you have. Nylon thread is better than cotton as it generally lasts longer through wear

  • @pamelabrignac1680
    @pamelabrignac1680 Год назад

    There is a knot that begins as regular knot crossing one over the other but wraps one of the threads around the other a few times before pulling together that is stronger than a regular knot if needed. Thanks for sharing these directions!

    How do you do a move up with this method? It appears that it cannot be done.

    • @ouielle
      @ouielle  3 месяца назад +2

      with the waterfall method you cannot slide the beads up. You can of course do a beaded row in the straight up and down sections method. That will allow you to slide the beads up. However, it is recommended to take the extension s out fully and change the position of your weft every couple months to protect your scalp health.

    I would love to see the placement of all the wefts. I currently have tape ins that I put in myself, but I have to be careful because you can see them if I wear it up. The sew in sounds more appealing, but I would love to see more videos on this so I feel more confident about installing myself. Thank you!

    • @tashas5074

      If you like tape extensions but want to try wefts I highly recommend tape weft! I just get wefts and put the tape on one side then I place them pretty much like you would do with sew in. Done!

      Great request. In the mean time, squeeze the beads in the opposite direction to open them. Then slide them out. Trim the tread, make sure to not get the hair. The extensions will slide right out.
