@TheStraightPipes I picked the one without the sport suspension for that reason, day and night, it is way too stiff on the cars that have the sport one. Same spec, just the one before the revision, I am not big on the new UI
I love the suspension on my RS5. I like having the option of it being bouncy so I can cruise over bumps with my 20" rims and not feel it. If I don't want it bouncy, I set it to "balanced". When I want to drive spiritedly, I set it to the firm. It's a great system. I had an S5 without the adapter dampers, and it felt terrible over even little bumps. I have a video on my channel, and you can see my switching between comfort and RS1 as needed. Easy peasy system.
@@Pboy7272 I have no experience with s5 but the adaptive on the rs5 has to be driven HARD in dynamic or it’s bouncy. These guys just pussy footing around isnt helping. That’s my experience anyways. The kind of driving they’re doing in this vid should have been in comfort

The last center console without the giant slab of gloss black looked so much better.
I have a 2013 Audi S5 Cabriolet Prestige. I know my little supercharged V6 can't compete with the new cars, and it shouldn't, but it is a pleasure to drive. It does suffer from some understeer, but I'm confident having my wife drive it with all wheel drive. I absolutely love that new green color. Thanks for the video guys!
I have owned a RS5 before back in the day and out of every car I have owned in my lifetime. It’s the car I still dream about driving. It does everything you want in a car and makes you feel like you can do anything as a driver. Best balanced car I have ever driven and I have driven allot of 100k plus cars. So if I can get one of these again in the future I would. It’s not for blowing people off the line it’s for daily driving and long trips. Put on a good song and go for a drive it’s what the car is made for.
I have a 2018 RS5. Doesn’t have adaptive suspension and I think it’s perfect. And I live in a town with goat trails for roads!!
8:05 the 3D camera is only available on the A6 and higher models. wish it was an option on the 5 at least, but the surround cameras are great. the 3D is very cool though.
Beautiful car in every way! Love the content guys. Hope to see you review the new M240i.
One of the few cars that looks good in great. It looks stunning actually
In green?
It's like 85 degrees F here right now, I'll hold off on the winter tires. 🤣
I think they fired Klaus, the intern, responsible for installing the sun visors in 2019.
The only reason a review would get more views on a car with little changes since 2019 is because it's the StraightPipes!
I had a 2018 RS5 which I sold soon after I bought it. Why you ask? The 8 speed automatic transmission. I traded it for a 2019 RS3 as it has a 7 speed dual clutch tranny. What a great car it is.
My 2022 RS5 coupe is metallic glacier white...This is the best car I ever had.. Just left a corvette behind at the green light..
The flawless Audi ❤️
For a V6 that sounds damn good
This is just so perfect. Beautifully sculpted and amazing performance. 💓
Listen. I live in The Bahamas, and some guy has a 2014 S7 & the same green is on that car & it’s beautiful. And this is even better.
That color is incredible!
On the numbers frame, you show KW instead of NM. It's a typo I've seen on a couple of your videos now
In the past the Audi Sport Suspensions were fixed with non adjustable dampers. Despite having, Comfort, Sport ect... in MMI settings it does not change suspension settings, it will change everything else except for suspension.
Great review! I am about to sign up for rs5 but the suspension comments here worry me a little. Will the comfort mode be different with adaptive damping / RS sports suspension on?
Hey guys. I just got my S5 Sportback, however watching this video makes me to the desire to have the RS. Awesome well made video, you know have to put the passion on what you do, Cheers
Which is why I just went with the RS5 I didn’t want to feel like that
That’s why I went with the RS5 as well. It’s worth the extra money. It’s a sleeper as well.
Nice work fellas, man this car is sweet. I actually like the control wheel thing on the previous gen entertainment though.
probably my fav car design of recent memory, it does everything without being offensive.
That green and launch 😍😍😍
That number plate on the front makes it that much more beautiful.
i’ve been waiting for this video for a while now
Another competitor they could have put in the description was the Porsche Panemera 4s with the 2.9 liter v6.
I guess they omitted it because it's almost the same car as this one.
my 3 year old boy thinks that Audi Launch control is pure fun, i agree with him for sure
Always nice to see a good green from an automaker.
Only green car I've ever wanted is the M3 Isle of Man green. Man, can't beat that.
I can’t make up my mind between this and an RS3 I love that 5 cyl sound
can't wait for the M240i review!
That color PERFECT!
I have the 2022 S5 sportback. Best car ever! The ride is a bit bumpy but it’s a sports car. It’s a great family car as well!
I’ll be glad when that infotainment screen gets moved like in the RS7
Definitely a car I will consider for the future. Any idea when Audi goes full EV lineup? I want to get a RS5 before then. Great review guys! З Новим роком! Yuri!
Hopefully the visor didn't fly off like the last review lol. Love the review.
I like the rev limit in park.
Does Canada even have potholes?? The roads look so smooth. Low profile tires are a no go for me here in the US anymore.
Hamilton Ontario is full of potholes. Terrible city for their roads. Cheers!
The paddle extensions are a must, I have them on my b8.5 S5. They almost look stock
Lean mean and green 😂 love the color 💚… wish the RS5 made more power to keep up with the competition
@TheStraightPipes I picked the one without the sport suspension for that reason, day and night, it is way too stiff on the cars that have the sport one. Same spec, just the one before the revision, I am not big on the new UI
Guys Nice video! I ordered a 2022 S5 Sportback, need to wait 5 months but I don’t have a 2022 video to watch. Can you make a 22 S5 Sportback video ?
My guys, I'm glad you said this!!!! 8:47
Oh man, fuckin love the green cars lately!
I went for the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 for my FiST.
Beautiful car. The only thing that kind of bothers me is that infotainment screen, I wish they could build it into the dash a little nicer
Why is the rs5 so amazing?
Could ride be affected by running steel rotors instead of Ceramics as the 2019 you tested? Or was ride equally bad on that one?
Is there a ton of drone with this exhaust? I feel like I can hardly hear you guys in some parts because the drone is so intense.
This is my new dream daily driver!
Omg that deal is sick but im leaning towards to wagon
I NEVER take my car out of Comfort suspension mode. Dynamic is WAY too harsh. Still a great car, love it!
Same with me. Is funny how these clowns think the suspension is too harsh in dynamic in an rs car lol ride in an f80/82 now that’s HARSH
@@Turtle-sz7sk I was being serious. I agree with Jacob, it's too bouncy. Wish the adaptive suspension in the S5 was available.
I really want a S5 sportback. I love Audi among the germans, but always fall back due to the Germans' reliability complaints.
How reliable is the S5 sportback in the long run?
im also looking at the s5 sportback, coming from daily driving a 2018 corolla.
