I love Big Sexy hair product. Been using it for years and knock on wood it never damaged my hair. I wash my hair, towel dry and apply the blue hard up gel. I use about nickel size amount of it in my hands, rub it together then spread it in my hair, blow dry, style and finish with play harder hairspray. Sometimes I’ll add Garnier Fructis sleek and shine for little shine or OGX bamboo fiber big hair spray for better hold. Lately I discovered CHI volume and helmet head hairsprays that worked very well and smelled delicious. Never tried the Big Sexy powder so that will be on my list to buy next. Thanks for sharing Sharalees, you are beautiful.

I use the Neatfix Hair Finishing Gel Stick by Littelextra, and I’m so impressed! It’s so easy to use, and it controls all my frizz and flyaways in no time at all. Plus, it’s featherlight and non sticky, so my hair feels natural, not stiff. There’s zero residue left behind either, which is a big win! Ideal for sleek hairdos on the go!

Super-fine and wispy hair gal here ( I call it cotton candy hair 😄). I agree with the Bedhead Tigi Masterpiece Hairspray (final finish) along with Kenra Platinum 26 Hairspray for finishing. I want to recommend Kenra Platinum Dry Shampoo Hair Powder (not the regular Dry Shampoo, it has "Hair Powder" in the name as well). I use it liberally on freshly shampooed and blow dried hair to inject some "guts" into the fluffy, flyaway madness before styling. The struggle is real 😆. You look so pretty here, that green blouse is gorgeous! I have had a horrible cold this week also; hope you feel better soon.

It's the only shine product I've ever used that doesn't make my hair look stringy and oily. Oily scalp has been my life long nemesis. I have to find that powder texturizer. I have bought at least 6 cans from different stores and Amazon and they are not the same. It is kinda wet now and makes my hair sticky. I just received the Redkin Volume Injection shampoo and conditioner and the Sexy Hair Big Root Pump. I am hoping it will help! I have fine hair and it seems thinner than it used to be (I turned 71 yesterday). I love your hair and love how mine looks short from the FRONT, but when it's spiked I can see way too much of my scalp through in the back, plus I have some cowlicks, and I feel very self-conscious about it. I have tried off and on to let it grow longer, but the cowlicks are still there and then it parts down the middle in the back. I don't remember having this problem when my hair was long a few years ago. And it takes FOREVER to grow. At least when it's short and spiked and I use enough product it will stay in place! I have tried Kaboki fibers, but they tend to come off and I find dark stuff on my face! Once when I used it before I went to the chiropractor, it came off on the paper on the table and I was embarrassed! I recently found some Clairol Root Touch-Up at a local grocery salvage store (for 49 cents!) but it wasn't working well for me, as I could see right where I sprayed it. The last couple of days I have tried putting it in wet hair and spreading it around with my fingers and it seems to work much better. But somedays I would just like a wig!! I guess I need to accept that I'm an old fat lady with thin hair and not worry so much about it 😕

I used the root boost and LOVE it. I also love the dry wax, but it makes my hair look very dull. I know it is matte. Can you recommend a wax that is similar that does make my hair somdull looking?

I didn’t know they had a lite version of that powder!!! I used the regular one many moons ago but I struggled with it. I WILL be getting the other one asap! Might as well get the Kenra one too 😂. Thanks for the tips!

My hair is ridiculously fine and pretty thin. Often slips out of the iron. I have tried a few of these mentioned with very good luck. I really like both the powder play and powder play light for texture. Those are both awesome and Ulta usually has the travel size. So easy to carry with you. Hairspray I'm still trying to find a more affordable option but mostly use Kendra 25. It lasts me about 6 months. Thank you for sharing all these great products. Your hair is adorable!

I love your videos !!! I love using the Enjoy dry Wax. Is there another wax/paste that has strong hold that you would recommend IF you were not using Enjoy? I have found some but they have a manly smell and I cannot take the smell...LOL

Thank you so much for the reviews! I LOVE Aussie Instant Freeze and have been using it for years although it makes my hair a little frizzy. I will try the Dry Wax and Bed Head to see how they work for me now!

I’ve tried several products for my fine thin hair. Most of them work as described but… sometimes I have a problem with the scent. I’m sensitive to many scents. Do any of the products you demonstrated have a scent?

I have fine hair and am a hairspray snob. They either don't hold or make my hair stiff. I currently like the Amika Headstrong Hairspray. I will try a few of the root boost, memory cream, and the hairsprays you recommend. I think I am currently trying to get the hairspray to hold my hair, along with a mousse, where perhaps other products can do that heavy lifting. Do you know if the Redkin Injection Shampoo and Conditioner are okay for colored hair?

I have only recently started watching your videos and they are absolutely superb in terms of technique what I wonder about the is that I am very conscious of ingredients and have read through the ingredients in some of your top products such as the Tigi Catwalk root boost amd Sexy Hair Frenzy to name a couple and they are full of PEGs which are supposed to be very bad for your hair and for your skin and also parabens which again have been known to cause issues I'm surprised that this does not bother you?
