Thank you Gabbi! I LOVE your channel & content. You have a Great, down-to-earth Vibe, making you even more Beautiful than just what's on the outside, because your beauty shines from the inside out! I found you via Penny Smith's channel, another beautiful lady, inside & out! And now I have subscribed to Summer's channel after seeing your collaboration video. @@CherylBerryl What an incredibly sweet message! I had a tough week this week and this message really lifted me up. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. It means the world to me :) I can't wait for you to see the collab too!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I’ve been wearing a blunt bob forever and have been happy with it. People keep trying to convince me to add layers. Due to this pressure to look “up to date” I was on the verge of giving in. Thanks to you, this 71 yr old is going to keep my bob. And now I’m watching the next option with the face framing layers and realize that those layers could camouflage my jawline. Still watching. Still thinking. You are the best. 💖
I tried to show a video by Summer to my stylist and she said she didn’t need to see it to know what to do. Sadly, I left her. I felt like I wasn’t being heard. I’ve just let my hair go as I’ve been frustrated trying to find someone to help me with it. Your videos really help me to see the possibilities. Hoping i can find a stylist in my area.
Sorry to hear that! I feel the same way: I did not go for an hair cut for more than a year because the hairstylists I tried don't do what I like or what I would like. So now, my hair is below my shoulders, with no particular style, and I don't think it looks good on me. A few years ago, I found the perfect hair stylist, but she left to work in a complete different field. She had really helped me see the style of my hair and had done a marvelous job at that time! I might ask my daughter to come to at least cut the ends. :/ Thank you to Gabi for her very instructive advices! I would love to live close by! :)
If I were to stop dyeing my hair it would be 100% white. I’ll be 58 in a couple of months, so it would be nice at this stage to let it go, but my coloring just isn’t suited for white hair. It’s all a matter of opinion and what you like for yourself❤️ I don’t like women shaming each other for either letting it go grey/white/silver nor for dyeing it. Let’s allow each other the grace to do what makes us happy. Right?! ❤
It’s SO important to remain open minded and teachable… we need to listen to our clients and help them to become comfortable and confident with how they look… and what defines us more than a great hair look? Learn … get your ego out the way and just love that someone shared their talent with you♥️
Hi, I'm 50 and have 3b curls. I was hoping you can make a video on the best haircuts for curls. Personally, I cannot have my hair shorter than shoulder length as it doesn't suit me. Wondering if you have any ideas on how to cut/style this kind of hair without making face drag down.
There are no set rules on how to decorate yourself! I ended up say that out loud with you Gabi😃. I am beyond excited for your collaboration with Summer!
I love your channel Gabi. Excited to see your collaboration with Justin Hickox. I am 77 with long hair and have embraced my natural hair color for two years. I’ve gotten more compliments on my hair than ever before.
Denise Daly i never got to do pin up i will have to try them i am well known i am a hairdresser and Imelda that worked with me could do pin up any style.
I've always had thin hair. The best hair I ever had was when I was pregnant, of course. Then, it started falling out like it was an Olympic sport. I've always kept my hair longer, but I started noticing that it was getting really unhealthy and tangled at the bottom. I started doing a lot of intensive conditioning at the bottom and it helped, but it wasn't looking like it used to. Now, I'm 50 and at the end of the summer, I decided on a blunt bob - a fairly short one (for me). For the first time in ever, I actually got a compliment on my hair a couple of months ago! For me, this hairstyle works. I miss the long hair, and will grow it a smidgen longer for the summer cause I like it up and off my neck in the heat, but I think I'll keep coming back to a shorter length in a blunt cut. It has just made my hair look way thicker and better overall.
So appreciate all your support . Really awesome to know there are women like yourself helping other women look and feeling comfortable with themselves . How awesome you are. Thank you for being on the girls team . . Let’s go ladies it ain’t over till it’s over. 😊
I’m 71 years old with some health issues, but my hair has become very thin (and lost a lot). I see all the vitamins, lotions and potions, but skeptical about which ones truly work and are effective. If you have some advice…be so grateful! Can’t wait to see your collaboration coming up, Gabi!! Thanks for all your great videos that are extremely helpful..you are so sweet!
I am anxious to see what Gabi recommends! I’m 57 with hair than thinned considerably with the many health issues I had. I by accident discovered that washing my hair LESS FREQUENTLY has helped my hair a great deal. I was washing at least 4-5 times per week. Now, 2 times per week MAX! Not sure what you’re routine is, but you may try if you are frequently washing 😉 But Gabi is the PRO and I’m sure she will offer great advice ♥
I too starting losing a lot of hair in my early 50s, after menopause and after having thicker hair all my life. What helped me: spring valley hair skin and nails multivitamin, marine collagen powder one serving a day. Also I stopped coloring my hair and went natural silver. I used to wash my hair daily. Now I wash once week with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Since I exercise and sweat daily I also rinse it in the shower one more day a week, no shampoo and just a leave in conditioner. And I’m very gentle with it. I avoid heat and brush gently. I’ve actually gotten regular compliments on my hair in the last year. Oh, one more thing. Lots of fresh vegetables.
Saw palmetto is best known for supporting the prostate gland, but it also supports hair growth. As a female COVID survivor in my 60s, when I was shopping for this supplement at Sprouts, a dour male store employee asked if I needed assistance. I said, "Saw palmetto is what I'm looking for...I want to support my prostate." I think what made my hair grow a little fuller and swishier that day was seeing him smile.
My husband is very health conscious and he started me on a vitamin powder that you add to water or juice. I can hardly taste it. It’s done wonders for my hair and nails. I get the one made by Swanson at a health food store but any brand will work, I’m sure. It’s called: Collagen Hydrolysate powder. Also, I am on Hormone Replacement therapy that has helped many symptoms of menopause and the progesterone I take has helped my hair , too!! Hope you find this useful!!
Great video. I am over 60 and I was constantly moving my bangs to one side until recently and I am now wearing a long fringe and it looks so much better on me and does emphasize my eyes in a good way. Your photos are extremely helpful!
I am on medication for an autoimmune disease (rheumatoid arthritis) and am also taking thyroid medication. The medication for RA is making me lose my hair and I have made the very difficult decision to buy a wig. This video was extremely helpful in determining the style of wig; however, I am clueless when it comes to what to look for to get a quality wig that doesn't look like a wig. My research has confused me even more, terms like lace front, full lace, hand-tied, monofilament, human hair vs. synthetic, etc. Would you consider doing a video on how to buy a quality wig that fits, what characteristics to look for, etc?? Or is there a youtube channel you could refer me to??
Deborah Good// Although I dont know your face shape, Marlenes Wig Chat studio here on RUclips is great. I have about 6 wigs, and I could tell you my favorites. But if you go to her site, she explains all the questions you asked.
@@Donna-vh5ym Thank you so much Donna. I will check it out. I live in Pennsylvania so too hot is usually not an issue except for a couple months in the summer. I do worry if I will be able to get used to wearing one when I'm out and about but I'm willing to try. Losing hair is no joke. Again, thanks so much!!
My sister is a hairdresser for 51 years. She recently purchased ZENAGEN Shampoo treatment along with cream rinse. It's pretty great stuff. I've used it and have had success with it. It can probably be purchased through your hairdresser. PS. It's not cheap. Good luck!!
@Deborah Good // believe me....I understand, but I promise you.. you'll forget you even have it on your head., and with you in Pennsylvania..you've got this. I prefer the full cap rather than front lace because you don't have to worry about stretching the front lace out. Besides, a full cap is cheaper and much easier to take care of. All you do is put it on and take it off. I have both types and wear mine (Iagain, I prefer the full cap) all through winter here and sometimes during the summer if I know I'll be indoors. Get the rooted. They look natural because it looks like little new hair is growing out of your head. I've had several people come up to me and ask me where I get my hair done...lol. My little secret. No one will know you're wearing one except your family and they'll love it. I promise, they won't know you're wearing a wig. Wigs have come a LONG way now. It's a confidence booster for sure. Keep me updated, and feel free to ask me anything, and I'll do my best to help, but you'll be fine with it. I promise you that, but I DO understand the devastation more than you know. You've got this.
YES! another video colab with Justin would be great! both of you are my favorite hair specialists on youtube :) thank you for a great haircuts advice video for thining hair.
I will be 60 in May. I let my hair go natural in 2019 and I am delighted that I did that! I have a bixie style and constantly get compliments on my hair from all age groups. I would like more volume at the crown. Can you recommend any styling products that wont weight my hair down but help me get and "keep" the volume throughout the day? Thank you for your wonderful uplifting and inspiring videos! Keep them coming!
I love this message. I’m very happy with my gray hair that’s in the best condition of my life because I’m no longer coloring it. I also love little White House black market cardigans. Just watched another video that told me they are a no-no. But I know they look cute on me. I regularly get compliments.
Thank you for all the great hair tips for us more mature ladies. I have also just embraced my naturally wavy hair and believe that it makes me look and feel a lot younger than I am at age 60.
I have just watched back to back videos of yours. You are absolutely precious and so real. You are definitely beautiful inside and out. The way you speak about each individual woman is priceless. I'm 60 years old. I have a lot of the issues you discussed. I saved all the videos. Thankyou you for your genuine support. It was a pleasure watching them all.😊
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I’ve commented before a few times about how I love that you are talking to women in their “wiser” years. I’m 76, soon to be 77 & my hair is all the the things you mentioned. Fine, thin, & just a little wavy. It is next to impossible to get a good cut from stylists. I’m going to take your advice & send one of Summer’s videos. Love that you’re all doing a collaboration!!! ❤
You are correct about getting a good cut from your stylist. I’ve searched for one in my area. They want to do what they want to do…no matter how many pictures you share with them. Thanks for your info and what you’re experiencing. You definitely are NOT alone. Stay well and happy hair stylist hunting!😊
I love your approach of embracing nature. Not only lets us women be who we are it also helps the environment (and therefor nature) stay cleaner (less dye, less aluminum foil...). Since everything is truly connected and this is a way forward. Embracing what has been given to us versus covering it up and looking like a comic figure.
I began losing hair volume years ago. I have fought heat and humidity my entire life living in the south. In 2009 I began wearing wigs and oh how it changed my life. No more worries about wind, heat and humidity. I have to do something with my hair. I have not had a real haircut since I began wearing wigs. You are blessed to have wavy hair. I wore my hair permed for years and did the scrunchy thing and I loved it. My hair looked and felt thicker. I do nothing with my hair but wash it and pull it up to wear my wigs. I think I will try the lob. I love your channel and only found it recently. Thanks for the tips.
I love you Gabi! I’ll be 54 next month. My hair is longer than my bra strap. I love having longer hair. I have no layers (thanks to you). It’s blunt or “one line” as you have suggested. You’re the best!! ❤
Yay! Love your attitude and hopefully you will help me learn to love my texture too. I have always had naturally curly hair but after taking some medication which made my hair break at the follicle it came back curlier. That has been about fifteen years ago but I still have just blown it out blowing it out until my middle daughter began to embrace her naturally curly hair and I saw how beautiful it could look.
You are wonderful! I have thin wispy brittle hair (58 years old) and have tried red light, supplements, Nioxin, etc and they don't work for me! I enjoyed your video on possible hair styles to try--I wish you could cut my hair for me in the bob/lob (first cut), but sadly I am in Minnesota. If you ever come here, please let me know! I will gladly pay you for your wonderful services!
I’m 57 with 3 autoimmune diseases and hypothyroidism. So yes, I’ve noticed changes in my hair! My hair used to be stick straight but between gray hair and thyroid issues it is now wavy/curly and I love it! Could be a bit more thick but I’m blessed as it is. My hair had been long for several years but I had it cut into a pixie with an undercut during the holidays 2022. It was too short at first but I’ve let it grow some and I love it! As far as gray goes, I’m not intense about it at all. Sometimes I color it and sometimes I let it go, it just depends on my schedule, finances and if I feel like it or not. It’s so easy to take care of so I’m very blessed! 😊
Thanks Gabi, really enjoyed this video. Love the statement "Hair is a decorative art form". Wish I had that framed when I had my salon in California! I am embracing my texture in a new way as I age, and have been silver gray since I was 51, 20 Years ago. Thanks for your uplifting and informative videos!😘Roberta
Excited about your upcoming video with Justin, I have viewed one already and enjoyed it. I’m not sure if it’s the one you spoke of. I’m 74, cannot believe it!!! I always had thick hair and always received compliments. Now I have frontal fibrosing alopecia and thinning hair, robbed me of my confidence. But I’m fighting it and making the best of it. Thank you so much for your informative videos Gabi❤️
I thought my air was becoming thinner and more fragile, until I stopped having it dyed every 4 weeks! Since growing my white/grey/silver out my hair is thicker and far more healthy. Style-wise I personally think it is more important to look modern and up to date, rather than younger, as nothing ages one more quickly than the same hair style for 30 years; that goes for colour too.
shoulder length is not long and it actually is the perfect length for some faces (mine for example). A shorter bob actually ages me, but shoulder length is my sweet spot 😊 enjoy your hair the way you like it!
That’s ok. I’m 62 and let my hair grow out to it’s natural silver. I get compliments on it. Except for my sister that tells me it ages me. I pay her no mind.
That’s right. Pay her no mind at all. Sometimes people close to us are biased. Healthy silver hair is gorgeous. It’s not the tight, purple curls of yesteryear.
New here… and I must say, you are a breath of fresh air! I love that you stress rigid rules about hair and clothing over fifty needs to be a thing of the past. I live in dresses now that I’m post-menopausal because they don’t press on my stomach and make it look bigger like it does in jeans. Most channels say I shouldn’t wear them, but I do what fits my lifestyle, body type, comfort, and climate. With that being said, I need a change in my hair and will go to you friend’s channel to find something I want and send it to my stylist. Thank you so much. I’ve subscribed!
Gabi, you have inspired me try and style my naturally wavy hair. I too have been fighting it for years - years of flat ironing it ( because I have way too much volume) and trying to find tools to give me those waves - why not see how it would look by just diffusing it. I will do it! Thank you for this helpful and informative video - appreciate you 😊💕
I started losing my arrow straight, thin, fine hair during menopause. I got extensions and loved them but they were pulling my hair out. I started taking Nutrafol and my hair came back! I also had it dyed grey. I LOVE it being grey!!!
Hello gorgeous Gabi! Thank you so so much for your wonderful, helpful videos, you are such a life saver!! I'm not 50..yet..lol..I'm actually a 44 year old mom of 3,from PA, but just to brief you,I've been dealing with horrible thin hair now for over 10 years, tried every TV infomercial product, nothing has helped, BUT watching your videos on how to add volume, fullness to thin fine hair, you have already helped me tremendously! Your makeup tips are wonderful as well! I have to keep my hair on the shorter side,I took your advice from a previous video and had my stylist do a blunt bob, that seems to definitely work for me,my hair is getting even more thinner, it's very scary, you can see my scalp which is very embarrassing, especially when I see older women who have thicker hair than me! I'm going to keep trying your wonderful tips for thinning fine hair, because I'm at a loss,I really dont know which products to use,but I know what haircut I'm sticking with! So thank you Gabi, your wonderful!! Much love, Angela
❤ all the videos but I haven’t lost hope for soft classic autumn. I’m not sure what sweaters would work. I gave up hope on cardigans that are being sold now. 🙏
I’m 69 and my hair has become thinner and more brittle as you described. I’ve embrace a bob and lob. I always loved a side swept bang but now my bangs are too thin. I learned the hard way and convinced stylist to cut them. Well, I wasn’t happy and chopped a bit shorter on my own. Disaster! Ladies be careful. Luckily I’m able to hide them and look like I don’t have bangs. But Gabi, do you have any recommendations for fly away hair? I use good shampoos/ conditioners like olaplex and oribe. Maybe something to apply to dry hair?
I've always had very fine hair. Now that I'm 64, it's thinning out and it seems even finer,if that's possible! I've been watching your videos and I love how you think! I'm SO afraid of losing my hair that I've finally started to look at various videos, and come to find out I was washing my hair the wrong way. I've added a few items to my hair regimen, and it's looking better. So...now I want a nice hair cut and I've been searching, and when I found you I was really happy!! Thank you for the sensible tips!! I think I'm going to go for the long bob, thank you SO MUCH!!! 💜✌🏼️🕊🦋
So excited! Love the positivity in your videos. 🥰 after watching your videos I tried the velcro rollers for some extra oompf to my fine hair and I love it. So easy! Thanks. 🇦🇺
the only issue I have with "styles by summer" is that she uses fake clients..Real people, do not have that type of hair. Gabi, your videos are always spot on. Love your channel thank you
I love Justin Hickox and he lives in my city! A collab with you, Sommer and Justin sounds fabulous! My daughter turns 37 next month and was a Stylist for years, then converted to the business end of things. Maybe that’s why I connect with you, same age and a Pisces. I feel she got into the hair industry because I was always doing something new. That’s actually a problem right now. I have lost my flair for flair! Time for a change but I like so many things I can’t make up my mind on the next length, shape. I have fine, medium to high density wavy hair and have been enjoying the natural texture. It is getting a bit long, flat on top and heavy at the sides. I want a carefree unstructured vibe and am sure I will go for a shaggy lob of some sort. Just flirting with fringe ideas to give some lift. I like fringe without a part or that falls with the natural part. Saved a million pics on my Pinterest board, some of which you featured. Next appt is 3/12 so wish me good vibes!
I thought you were serious at the beginning about not having long hair after 50, and I was like “girl, what?! You do you!” 😅 In fact, I looove a long, straight bob on mature ladies 👌🏼
Wow Gabi so excited to see The Power of 3 put together a video !!! Thank you again for some great tips and hair inspiration. God Bless You ! Can't wait for ur next video.
Loved your channel. I’ve got wawy hair and thin hair, and I find that this kind usually comes with some frizz. Would be great to know how to style it and what products to use - hopefully minimal :). Thank you for your great and inspiring videos!
I don’t like the Bixie on older women, I feel it just looks like an “old lady cut”. The models you showed looked great but that’s because they are models!
I am so excited that you're doing a collaboration with Justin Hickox! I don't watch a lot of RUclips because I don't like an hour of my time passing by without something to show for it. I'm going to watch everything you do from now on though
One more comment: I love the “Bixie”!! I did not know that was the name of that haircut!! I’ve seen it a lot and could not figure out what to call it except a very grown out Pixie cut!! Again, great info!!! Thank you!!
Thank you - I loved this video! I particularly loved your advice/opinion on sending your stylist a video of the haircut you'd like. I've always felt doing this would offend but I think I'll do this!! Love all the styles you presented -- I found one I love and will send to my stylist!! Keep on doing your fabulous videos!!
Loved your video!! I have discovered my natural texture hair and I love it but I really need to know the right products to use for it. I don’t want it stiff nor I don’t want to look like I fought the wind! lol
*Super Excited* . 55 yr. old, menopausal hair thinning, hard water damage, stopped coloring and growing fringe out journey; let's talk, shall we. I rocked a bob from 40-50 with bangs. I moved to a location with very hard water. Menopause hit hard with hair thinning, I'm fine textured but density was good. I stopped coloring from medium blonde to mousy brown, and embracing the gray. I went through a year of growing out the bangs in the hopes of a bit more body. My hair became noticeably more wavy (2B). I tried multiple CG routines and $$ products. My hair still looked like 💩. I addressed the hard water issue with a shower filter and chelating shampoo and conditioner. I'm a Soft Natural, love volume and body without a lot of work. I have recently switched to the JVN hair care line and ION Purify for Hard Water. I like my hair collar bone length with layers/texturing. I don't miss the bangs. My waves are poppin', hair is in great condition and I can go 3 days before a wash. The JVN Air Dry Cream is a "must have" as well as the Embody Foam. Re-fresh days have never been so effortless. I would love to hear this dynamic trio talk about hard water damage.
Love your tips and inspiration. I am 66 and have naturally curly hair and have recently learnt to embrace it again and enjoying it too . The face framing layers sound good too , will try that ❤
I love your channel. It is so heartwarming that your channel is all for we women over 50 who are often marginalized. Your videos are awesome! And you are so friendly and inviting. Thank your for we seasoned ladies.
Leaving this hair natural is the prettiest, I have curly hair and it's not an easy task but by using the right products, I manage to smooth out my hair. Thank you for this very interesting video🏵🏵🏵
Biotin is great. It worked when I lost my hair from steroids. It’s thicker than ever. All my best to you, I know the feeling when you wear your hair everyday. Not like a top that you can change in a minute. People don’t put enough emphasis on their hair they don’t want to pay for haircuts colors etc but will buy a blouse they wear once. Hair is so so important. God bless
I have tons of products for my hair, including pomade’s, and none of them work well, or I don’t know how to work them. I would love to see a video on hair products please. So glad I found you I’m following you.
Turning 60 in two months, so naturally I'm watching this! My latest style is pretty close to your #1 bob and I like it! What I really, really like is that necklace you're wearing! I was hoping you had deets in the info box, but nothing! Do share!!!
So excited you are coming down here to work with Justin! I love both of your videos. Please let me know if you all are planning on doing incredible makeovers for women who are dealing with age, medication hair loss, major losses through the pandemic. I’m in Des Moines, WA between SEA and Portland and a miracle makeover would be life changing. Sending gratitude for your compassionate, supportive videos. Always well done! 🌹🌹🌹
Love your videos! You are Amazing! I am 56 and have begun graying but much more brown to auburn. I do not use color of any kind. My hair has always had length but only below my shoulders. My hair is thinning terribly as well as very frizzy. I wanna gray naturally and would love to keep it long but as of right now im a hot mess. I'm so glad i caught your videos and definitely taking your other video of hair styles to my next hair appointment. My favorite hair style on your other video was the first one with the long gray hair. It was so beautiful. My hair isnt that long but gonna certainly work towards that style. Thank You sweet lady. You are gorgeous and full of amazing info. ❤❤
I just turned 70 and decided to bleach my hair at home (thanks covid) but the top has broken off (oops) so I've shortened my hair a lot. AND I've gone back to wearing a wig and/or a topper to give me the thickness & styles that look good without further damaging my baby fine hair with experimentations. ha I've also turned a corner and I'm fully embracing the silver/gray/white spectrum using a wig. Spare the hair, do the wig! ha. I just started watching your channel and appreciate your tips.♥
When your hair starts thinning you can take L-lysine to help grow your hair but also you don't have to cut your hair. There's so many options. Hair extensions, weave, wigs, clips, falls, etc. You can have whatever color you want and change your look as often you want.
I gave a 👍this morning, but upon doing my hair, I thought of u bc u gave so many great tips within ur 5 tips to confirm our ‘feel good’ thoughts 🫶🏼. I don’t use expletives but u r so awesome❗️ I saw a 45 yr old woman from behind w/really naturally long, thick hair & I thought she was her dtr 😊. We’re now friends😁
Yes we are giving a viewer a glam transformation! Justin is doing the cut, Summer is doing the color and I'm doing the makeup. I literally cannot be more excited for this!
I just commented in another video how much I love your natural curl. I love the bixie..just not brave enough. Everytime I get my hair short..people don't like it in me. Love all five styles. 💕
Thank you gorgeous girl for today's video.. My sister has the #3..looks great on her at 54...she has a smaller head and ears.. I'm the opposite ... longer red hair, wavy with soft layers..as I have a larger shoulders and back. Yes, sadly hair is getting thinner with time, so it's important to supplement our bodies with affordable nourishment as life is getting ridiculously expensive. Stress..🤯...I try to take a few minutes to breath away stress every day..every day is different but I try .🙏 Stay safe ...💜
At 62, I wore a pixie very well. I just felt like it was aging me and ready for a change. The grow out was horrific, and I can’t express this strongly enough. So now I’m into wigs, have mostly bobs, lobs, and layered lobs. So much fun, many compliments and just as you say, I feel good and confident, and that makes all the difference.
Gaby thank you so much for this video I do have the blunt cut bang and I really want the fringe bangs you were showing so now I have to wait for my bangs to grow out for this cut, you are so helpful to all of us gals that are over 50 words can't say what a blessing you are, once again thank you and I will keep watching and learning inside and out from you
❤you are such a sweetie. I love the pixie cut but it's literally impossible to find a decent hairdresser in New Zealand that knows a. how to cut properly short and b.whatcsuits each individual client best 😢😢

I feel the same way!!!! I’m so tired of it I’m cutting and dying my own. I don’t have infinite funds for their nonsense.
Right?! ❤
She sounds like a jealous person.....
It’s SO important to remain open minded and teachable… we need to listen to our clients and help them to become comfortable and confident with how they look… and what defines us more than a great hair look? Learn … get your ego out the way and just love that someone shared their talent with you♥️
Why does everyone who makes these kinds of videos ignore people with curly hair? There’s millions of us out there!!
Hi,
I'm 50 and have 3b curls. I was hoping you can make a video on the best haircuts for curls. Personally, I cannot have my hair shorter than shoulder length as it doesn't suit me. Wondering if you have any ideas on how to cut/style this kind of hair without making face drag down.
Yes! Thank you for the "Do whatever makes you happy, there are no set rules!" 🤩
There are NO SET RULES on how you should decorate yourself! I hope you have a beautiful day today!
I'm setting a rule. Please no more bobs even though Gaby shows them constantly.
we need more of this ❤
There are no set rules on how to decorate yourself! I ended up say that out loud with you Gabi😃. I am beyond excited for your collaboration with Summer!
Gabi, it is an amazing video. I am 62 years old and really make me feel amazing to know what can I do! Thanks again!
I am so happy that you feel this way. Thank you so much for watching :) I hope that I was able to inspire you today.
I love your channel Gabi. Excited to see your collaboration with Justin Hickox.
I am 77 with long hair and have embraced my natural hair color for two years.
I’ve gotten more compliments on my hair than ever before.
I am a hairdresser and
Denise Daly i never got to do pin up i will have to try them i am well known i am a hairdresser and Imelda that worked with me could do pin up any style.
So happy you’re doing a video with Justin
TY! I'm 65 & always wondering what to do w/ my cut. This gave me great info to share w/ my stylist.
I have same issues. Only down side to short is more trips to hairdresser. Longer thin hair made my face long , drawn out.
Maybe to add to it , ask for highlights/ and low lights it will add youthfulness
Some fab wigs hair pieces around
Justin H is great. Wished he did more salon work than outdoors talking about it.
I will add. I live in Texas and find them impossible to wear in the 110-degree summers.
So excited! It’s going to be an amazing treat, Gabi, Justin & Summer together. You are all the best!
Same here!
I can't wait to get to see you in person!!! So excited!
I am so excited to give you a big old Canadian hug!
In the last 2 years, not only have I let my natural hair come in (brunette with some greys) but also the natural waves I never knew I had. I love it!!
Yes!!!!!! 🙌 I love that for you! ❤️
Where do you do hair?
Excited by the collaboration with Summer and Justin!
Plus sized hairstyles for senior women please.
Thank you.
You want a cut to fringe your face, this will compliment you
I began losing hair volume years ago.
OOOOH it sounds like it is thick and beautiful! Are you enjoying this haircut? Sending a Canadian hug your way!
Me too i love long hair !!!
My hair is past my waist. I have layers and is curly. Defintely NOT A STRAIGHT BOB.
It's not about looking younger but healthier and the best I can. Thanks for this helpful video
So excited! You 3 are my favorites!! I want you guys to do my hair!
Same!
I always love hearing your tips!! You are such a talented person with a very sweet way of speaking with people and making us feel beautiful!!
55. Embraced my curls. I can’t have shorter hair. It needs weight. But I keep it just passed shoulders.
So excited. I'm in my 70s with fine, thinning hair. Looking forward to your collaboration.
Love the “no set rules attitude” so tired of my mom telling me my long hair ages me’. I am in my 50s and I love my shoulder length hair.
shoulder length is not long and it actually is the perfect length for some faces (mine for example).
So easy! Thanks. 🇦🇺
What do Velcro rollers look like & where did you find them?
So cool you are getting together with Justin H. And your friend, Summer! Can't wait! You'll are so helpful!
the only issue I have with "styles by summer" is that she uses fake clients..Real people, do not have that type of hair. Gabi, your videos are always spot on. Love your channel thank you
Same here! Go Gabi🙌
You do you!” 😅
In fact, I looove a long, straight bob on mature ladies 👌🏼
"so excited" !!! LOL But seriously it will be fun to see you together!
Where's the thick curly hair over 50?! We have that too!!
Wow Gabi so excited to see The Power of 3 put together a video !!! Thank you again for some great tips and hair inspiration. God Bless You ! Can't wait for ur next video.
I love my white and gray hair. Won't change the color. Love the natural
Thanks for the advice Gabi🙏🏽 I am 63 looking 83😰😰😰 gonna try it
absolute facts; you are so sweet, I can relate to it all, needless to say I am over 50 going 21
so excited! love my natural wave but that top layer just looked worn out any tips? always great info thank you
Biotin is great.
I enjoy Justin Hickox every week. Excited to see you with him!
I love that you are doing another video with Justin Hickox and adding in Summer. Can't wait!
Turning 60 in two months, so naturally I'm watching this! My latest style is pretty close to your #1 bob and I like it! What I really, really like is that necklace you're wearing! I was hoping you had deets in the info box, but nothing! Do share!!!
I’m turning 60 in April too!! I also have a bob type of style 🤗
I'm so excited! I love you and Justin and will check out your friend and will be waiting for your collab.
I gave a 👍this morning, but upon doing my hair, I thought of u bc u gave so many great tips within ur 5 tips to confirm our ‘feel good’ thoughts 🫶🏼. I don’t use expletives but u r so awesome❗️
I saw a 45 yr old woman from behind w/really naturally long, thick hair & I thought she was her dtr 😊. We’re now friends😁
I love the video one thing that helps with volume is body powder used daily and affordable to everyone
Love Justin Hickox and you. Very exciting to hear you will be doing a collab with him.
I always had very thick hair but it’s definitely thinning. I’ll be 60 this year. Thank you for sharing this video.
Me too! I’ll be 60 in September. I had thick hair until about 5 years ago. Now trying to figure out how to keep it from thinning further.
Stress..🤯...I try to take a few minutes to breath away stress every day..every day is different but I try .🙏
Stay safe ...💜
Oh and I’m excited about you and Summer collaborating! 🎉🎉
Ha! I sent your video of Monica's haircut to my stylist!!! She was not offended!
Gaby thank you so much for this video I do have the blunt cut bang and I really want the fringe bangs you were showing so now I have to wait for my bangs to grow out for this cut, you are so helpful to all of us gals that are over 50 words can't say what a blessing you are, once again thank you and I will keep watching and learning inside and out from you
Yes I LOVE the Bixie! I never knew it was called that but it’s so stylish but can be messy and youthful or more polished and coiffed!❤

Thank you so much for coming and for hanging out here with me! I can't even begin to tell you how much it means to me!
❤you are such a sweetie. I love the pixie cut but it's literally impossible to find a decent hairdresser in New Zealand that knows a. how to cut properly short and b.whatcsuits each individual client best 😢😢
Depends on face shape
