Great job Josh!
Thanks John!
So I’m use to seeing wall perlins between the leg beams but it looks like y’all have the lumber framing between the legs. Could you explain why yall don’t use the C perlin between the legs? Genuinely curious, because I wouldn’t imagine that yall would be doing without the C perlin if it didn’t work, I just haven’t seen it done this way before
Great questions. We have discussed this ongoing on our channel. Here’s a video that may help support your questions ruclips.net/video/WytQERiiJLs/видео.htmlsi=msIiVACL_F2AdC5E
Hi!! Im located in Florida and my husband and I are currently working on a barndominium build, I'd like to ask your opinion on cable bracing ? The current way they build exposes them on the interior finish, but I noticed in your builds that this is not the case. Can these cables be hidden ? I do have a photo, for example, on another barndo they are currently building with these exposed cables.
In most cases the metal building manufacturer isn’t taking into consideration the additional shear strength you may be gaining on the interior of your structure after you finish your interior finishes and framing. I believe you could get the engineer to adjust for that so that the cables can be removed on interior living areas.
