Definitely did not expect to see Gin Blossoms cover this. Glad I decided to randomly search for Radiohead covers the day after it was uploaded.
Or WAS it random, after all? I just searched the original, watched it, saw High and Dry in the recommendations, watched that, commented on how any sort of act could make it into the Pop charts in the nineties and considered (decided not to bother) citing a spectrum of artists that ranged from Radiohead, to Rage Against the Machine, to Tool, to Mariah Carey, to the Gin Blossums...back out to my original search and decide to scroll down for some reason, and see this clip of the Gin Blossums covering Fake Plastic Trees!

Bruh in a Grunge flooded scene back then during 90s, i kinda feel Gin Blossoms was the actual alternative, catchy happy music with miserable lyrics, that was just brilliant.
So sad though we could only imagine what could have been.

7 months ago, I posted that I could listen to this cover over and over and over because of how hauntingly beautiful it was. And it's still true. I love this song, both Radiohead and especially Gin Blossoms' version of the song. I hope to learn the song one day.
