Actually, even though you are showing the seedier side of China, your affection for your hometown shows clearly through the animation in your expression and tone. And that is very real too. No matter how shabby the place, fond childhood memories prevail.
Where I lived in Singapore was way bigger than this, and way cleaner. Maybe there are some small apt in Singapore still but not as common as this in China. I visited my friends 組屋 or 公寓. Nothing like mine in China lol

Superficially it is beautiful but deep in the core a lot of us do not know because it has never be unveiled publicly. Of course, there are a lot of improvements needed but the problem is only praise is allowed no constructive feedback is allowed which will be considered anti ccp. That said, listening to the so called "positive feedback" or most of the time a big liar will that do the country better or worse?

I am rather shocked at the extremely tight Parking lot. Unbelievably short parking lot that demand great parking skills to avoid damage to vehicles. Great effort and excellent presentation James.

你住过的地方己经比我曾经的家强多了，我家在济南，建于1980年，我家没有living room只有两个房间，我与父母在一个房间住了20年，这个房间也是living room，也是餐厅，这个房间也只有15平方。另一个六、七平方的小房间是哥哥的房间。
