- I don't have the highest hopes for this game and my expectations have been heavily tempered from constant practice with Skooma, however, the whole game does interest me and I see its exceptional potential just from the deep dive. After playing through the Outer Worlds, I would love Starfield to be a game that improves on all of Outer Worlds' missteps and flaws.
You're well off with the procedural generation. The biomes are pre generated at the developers end, many locations are static as they're plot relevant. Some locations ARE randomly generated though. So if you just land on a random planet, there are things to do.
By Azura !By Azura! Whos here after the dissapoinment of SnoreField
hot take: fo4 companion affinity system is infinitely better than the karma system
Honestly, I loved the FO4 companions. Even more than New Vegas’s companions for me. I’m hoping Starfield keeps that companion system.
I really hated the affinity system too. I didn’t like how the developers just decided what’s good and evil instead of letting us figure it out ourselves. It’s also worse for morally ambiguous choices like killing Anna Holt or kidnapping the baby in The Pitt.
Hey Neloth, About the mention of static NPCs. Todd clarified every npc will be interactable. Perhaps less infepth as named characters go, but theyll be far better than cyberpunk pedestrians.
How far will the interaction be I wonder. Will they each have a life and stories to tell? Or will they be like generic NPCs in Skyrim and say “yes?” And “Huh?” All the time.
@masterneloth I hope we get a wealth of characters that are meaningful and interesting. They could pull it off in Vivec in Morrowind. If it's just "UC Citizen" walking around and the interaction ends at flavor dialogue I'd be pretty disappointed. Hopefully they're all at least as interesting as a Rorikstead farmer.
@@masterneloth Don't know if you got into Baldur's Gate 3, but the amount of named NPC which have unique dialogue is astonishing. You can't exactly converse with them, but every named NPC has unique lines. I expect something similar in Starfield, maybe not that extensive.
I hope it will be like every thing good from Morrwind, Skyrim and FO4 in one game
Honestly after hearing they were making worlds procedurally generated I finally bit the bullet after years of avoiding it and downloaded No Man's Sky to eventually see how Bethesda's work will compare to a six year old game. The one thing I hope that Bethesda improves upon is the loading time it takes for the planet to render as you go to land and/or actually have solid ground to land on and not immediately wall through the world (but it being Bethesda I expect to fall through several planets before my playthrough is done).
I hope the game isn't let down by one too many unnecessary mechanics, the reason why skyrim works so well is that each mechanic complements the others in ease of gameplay
Great content. Why does it say 250 views?
Love your videos king
Thank you doll! 😎
If you like shooting, looting and building then starfield migh be right for you, as for an rpg, i highly doubt it
You kind of can play a Chef in Skyrim, you pretend to be the Gourmet in that mission for the dark brotherhood.
I won't be playing. I can't play it on ps5.
Honestly, at this point, I don't have high hopes for tes6 at this point either.
