just to do my due diligence for talking about this game; Outlaws has gotten a good handful of updates since i posted this video, so a lot of the issues or complaints i might have had have been changed or tweaked or improved in some cases. like mandatory stealth sections are no longer a thing, weapon pick-ups are allowed through interactions, small stuff, but changes nonetheless. i still don't like the game and i won't be posting an update video or anything lol

I got this game with my brother because he is a die hard Star Wars fan. I made it further than him and I didn't even get to recruiting the second member fir the heist. I was hoping a 6/7 would be good enough with a change as I had been drowning in RPGs. And I just... Stopped playing. Not out of frustration, or anything major, but hell 2 weeks from that and dont remeber much that stuck with me. That in my opinion is worse than being just bad. The void if forgettable. Glad I found you. Hope you find success and Ill be waiting for your next video! Love long form videos. Going to watch yout other video right after this.

The fan base has always been intolerable; remember those dudes singing “George Lucas Raped My Childhood” over 20 years ago? Disney didn’t kill Star Wars, it briefly revived it into a shambling corpse. Let’s please let it die.
One of my biggest issues and the reason why I never bothered to get the game in the first place, was the fact that Ubisoft continues to dumb down their AI exponentially with every release. It's like they don't trust their players to be smart or skilled enough to get past any type of real challenge. Back in the day we're talking 2007 I loved the splinter cell trilogy, and Rainbow 6 Vegas. In Rainbow Six Vegas you could hear the enemy communicating with each other or whether they wanted to flank the player, reload, or rush you. Really makes me miss the good old days and the reason why I refuse to spend money on Triple A games these days.
I feel it's more incompetence, since challenge in a game with an option for easy mode wouldn't be a problem, make AI smart only on above normal if that's the real issue. Yeah i personally really dislike when enemy in the game is a human/oid and they behave really basic. In EDF, for example, there's a giant difference in behavour of intellegent enemies and bugs, high level alien troops can regroup, surround you and always retreat for cover if in danger.

The criticism of Kay is because SHE is odd. She doesn't look like her voice actress. That's why she is criticized, it is not rude to say she doesn't look as good as her VA.
It's funny how the ship is a box, the speeder is a box, Rey Kay's head is a box, and her hair is a furry box. They were told to add more depth to the flat lifeless character and they did the bare minimum. 🤣

The quality of this video is stunning. Couldn't believe your sub count when i noticed it, really great content. The game is the safest most mundane way they could've possible made a SW game. I dont think that people are understanding how badly you have to mess up for an Open world SW game to underperform, 6 years ago this would of sold like hotcakes but the industry has changed. I dont understand why Disney are insistent on giving out the SW license to studios who have awful reputation, first EA, now Ubisoft. I'm sure they seem like safe options considering their size and resources but SW is not in a place where it can afford to carry around bad press right out the door. This game had the bones to be good but the potential was completely wasted due to a lack of ambition or, dare I say, talent on the part of the dev team and i hate to say that as I know these are real people trying to do their best but if this is the best they can produce with the SW license in their hands then we need to have a serious think about who this license is being handed out to. Anyway, once again fantastic video, looking forward to the next one💪🏾
My thoughts on Outlaws: The game is definitely ubisoft in it's purest form which may turn off many. But some like myself don't mind it. I had more issue with the ST references here and there. But given it takes place after episode 5 and before episode 6 for a change is nice. I did not like the disney trilogy. But I guess I don't mind having only the planets from the ST but set before that era is alright. It's a decent compromise. That aside, the game is really fun. The wanted system and open nature of the game makes it very replayable for me. But what really won me over was Nix. That little guy is probably the best thing for me about this whole game.🤩😍 His little animations like hopping on your speeder when u get close and looking at you hoping to go for a ride is fricken adorable. Along with the way he plays dead when u ask him to distract a guard or point your gun at him and the little interactions u can have with him when eating meals. God hes so cute. Lol The story was alright. I didn't love it or dislike it. It was serviceable. But evreything around the story was so fun that I didn't mind. (Minus the instant fail stealth missions ovcourse..) The backlash the game is getting should be directed to ubisoft higher ups. Not the devs themselves. Clearly alot of love went into this game from what I can see. The game didn't deserve to be completely review bombed. If I'm going to be as honest as possible, I would give it a good 7/10. Anything below a 6 or 5 is not right. The game does far more correctly than it does wrong. And I feel an 7/10 reflects that very well. I only hope we get atleast one more planet in the dlc expansions coming up. And maybe a few QOL improvements and fixes to make it better as it Definitely needs that. Anyway, that's about it. Just felt that I needed to say something and be as fair and realistic as possible while not being blinded by hate. 🙂👍
Really well put together video, I'd only recommend making your voice a higher amplitude. It's really hard to hear your voice on my phone even on max volume over background noises

i do believe that it's said that Sliro's family used to manufacture that model of ship, so i guess it's like a memento from that. definitely a convenient ship for Kay to end up stealing!

Not interested in the game. But. I will note something. That first arcsde game? That style of grabbing the booets and avoiding things that slow you down? Thats the racing minigame in KOTOR1. The drag race, had very similar rules and gameplay. That is kind of cool.

Star wars outlaws at Launch for me is a 3/10. if the game had no bugs than a 4/10. It barely offers any substance. And the only way I could ever say this game was a 7/10 if it was sold at 15 dollars at Launch

But they are forced to do EEEEVVIIILLL due to one tiny external thing. I enjoyed the game enough to put 168hrs into it & platinum it. It has bugs, terrible lip sync, a few glitches, a big 1 is not getting the holotracker happened to me had to restart the game from 38hrs in & 2 planets complete, u get the fusion cutter so late its useless 😂, graphics can not be the best but then it has many times its beautiful af vistas & cinematic shots of u just doing things in the world. I liked the game & the adventure, ND Kay Nix & gang i really liked & the way ND walks honestly makes u feel like he really is that bad motherfucker 😂. Trailblazer isnt an attractive ship but put crimson dawn skin on it & u will love your new tank escalade 😂. Stealth i didn't have any issues with if its a struggle or hard for u then u deadass trash at games 😂 people tend to cry bout shit but then dont use common sense or try to rambo through shit & blame the game when its their own stupidity. Love Kay says fuck the rebels CONSTANTLY! I just wish we could kill the guy & girl that screwed her & is the reason we have a death mark 🤷🏿♂️. The movie like cutscenes are beautiful & i wish for a animated? Cartoon? Idk a show or movie that looks like that. As a 1st in the series & new story i give it a 7/10. The ending was hype for me the battles, trying to save a friend, the infiltration, the heist, the twists, the uno reverse 😂, the Kay saving her mom with some top tier master assassin level infiltration all fire af. Btw hate sabacc cause the AI cheats well no they hack if they cheated i should be able to call them on it but instead they can only call me on it! They summon cards they need while im there getting 3 imposters when i already had 1 imposter in my hand & 1 in the discard pile 😒. It got so absurd i had to record it so its not just words & no evidence tho anyone playing will notice it too. Oh & Kay knocking out troopers is fine, nobody complained when Ewoks did it 2 small trees crushed METAL EQUIVALENT OF A TANK! Nobody complaining when anyone else does it 😂. This how u can tell real star wars fans vs idiots cause the trooper armor is basically underwear! It has no benefits other than it hides the person under it face & body for ease of filming etc & a bad guy. They cant see, feel everything, 1 shot kills them. Its ment to be a running joke. Then look at death troopers, droids, war pigs 😂, all cant be bare knuckle brawled us your brain common sense! Even in a new hope stormtroopers are big bads yet cant hit a shot 😂 only relevant killing an old couple.

Origins had good RPG lite elements, odyssey was tolerable, by Valhalla the RPG shit was just too much…

Trailblazer isnt an attractive ship but put crimson dawn skin on it & u will love your new tank escalade 😂. Stealth i didn't have any issues with if its a struggle or hard for u then u deadass trash at games 😂 people tend to cry bout shit but then dont use common sense or try to rambo through shit & blame the game when its their own stupidity. Love Kay says fuck the rebels CONSTANTLY! I just wish we could kill the guy & girl that screwed her & is the reason we have a death mark 🤷🏿♂️.
The movie like cutscenes are beautiful & i wish for a animated? Cartoon? Idk a show or movie that looks like that. As a 1st in the series & new story i give it a 7/10. They have room for improvement its new so the 2nd game could sort out all actual issues with the game.
Love crimson dawn & QI'RA 😍 Which sounds exactly like Emilia Clarke but it isn't. Ashiga while cool & interesting they had spider creatures during their assault & thats a hard no no for my phobia. Please do not add anything spider like to outlaws 2 but better yet have Omega as the new protagonist 😎 with Kay ND etc.
Love how u can see Boba in passing, carbonite Han but nobody even says or knows his name 😂 & Vader which left Kay terrified & unable to explain wtf she saw 👏🏿.
The ending was hype for me the battles, trying to save a friend, the infiltration, the heist, the twists, the uno reverse 😂, the Kay saving her mom with some top tier master assassin level infiltration all fire af.
Btw hate sabacc cause the AI cheats well no they hack if they cheated i should be able to call them on it but instead they can only call me on it! They summon cards they need while im there getting 3 imposters when i already had 1 imposter in my hand & 1 in the discard pile 😒. It got so absurd i had to record it so its not just words & no evidence tho anyone playing will notice it too.
Oh & Kay knocking out troopers is fine, nobody complained when Ewoks did it 2 small trees crushed METAL EQUIVALENT OF A TANK! Nobody complaining when anyone else does it 😂. This how u can tell real star wars fans vs idiots cause the trooper armor is basically underwear! It has no benefits other than it hides the person under it face & body for ease of filming etc & a bad guy. They cant see, feel everything, 1 shot kills them. Its ment to be a running joke. Then look at death troopers, droids, war pigs 😂, all cant be bare knuckle brawled us your brain common sense!
Even in a new hope stormtroopers are big bads yet cant hit a shot 😂 only relevant killing an old couple.
