Yes, total disregard for other road users, wreckless/careless driving at it's worst. Like you, I'd have been raging and at the very least have made a separate video clearly showing both the driver and the plate number.
Will ride her, once she's available in Germany. The "old" Street Twin was such a fantastic motorbike. I was in love from the first ride and had her for a couple of miles. Fitted me like a glove.
Morning taym it does look a nice bike and no doubt great quality being triumph that colour is very nice as well and as much power as you need in the real world but it’s always nice to have loads more as we know take care mate
Morning Taym. Opal Fruits were renamed 'Starburst' around a quarter of a century ago, so you're right, you wouldn't have seen them for ages. Bike sounded lovely pulling away from the castle. Hopefully Triumph will continue to have a winner with this one 👍
Great looking motorcycle, The tank colors give it a very Anime look to my eyes. That’s not a bad thing! Sprout and I watch our share of Anime, love it. Awesome bike and video Mr TAYM. Cheers, I hope everyone is having a great weekend.
I always enjoy especially on Sunday mornings with my coffee watching ur channel👍👍I haven’t rode a 900 but I love riding my 23 ST1200 I’ve bn n the process of making it my own RS Version.but that 900ST looks fun as well Stay Safe👍👍
Thanks for the review TAYM , I am thinking of upgrading my current street twin ( speed twin ) for the new version or maybe the T100 later in the year .
Looks smart, great updates, price is up £9.545 (£9,195 Base)for that paint job, same weight 216kg, 12L Tank, seat height is up to 780mm although low seat is available.
£8795 for the black one vs £9595 for the black T100, quite a saving (add a bit more for the Opal Fruits one). I love the sound! Sat on one at the Bike show recently but the seat felt a bit skinny, maybe the comfort seat would help
The seat height has changed the old street twin was 765 mm the new speed twin 900 is 780mm you can get a lower seat option though. A shorter wheelbase, new suspension, wheels and brakes and LED lights. It's changed a lot and they've pepped up the engine
I wonder if Triumph have taken a leaf out of Royal Anvil's book with the speed Twin 900, as it has an offset dial and made to make your mouth water tank colours. It looks to be a cracking bike and it really sounds the part. I like it!
The bike itself looks lovely, the paint job not so. As you know I'm biased towards single colour paint, preferably in a metal flake. I recon the that will date really quickly, I'd be getting out the spray kit 🖌
Hiya TAYM Nice looking bike and great review One thing that's puzzled me is I spotted a yellowish orange thing in the sky.....I did see it a while ago up here in North east Scotland but can't remember what it was called 😂😂
Cracking looking bike and look forward to see this bike in real life in about 2 weeks as Triumph is on tour in Sweden. Love the color, love the design! So glad they made this bike more different in design compared with the T100 as it was a hard one when I nicked my Bonnie from Rob. The ’old’ Soeed Twin was to simular compared with Bonnie, but this bike … just wow and sporty! I prefer this one above the 1200🎉
I was looking at the 900 speed twin and was thinking of getting one until I started getting insurance quotes back at over £1100 I'm only paying £350 fully comp for my bike at the moment
That colour scheme might just date, think I will stick with my 2022 Street Twin-same engine, power and torque. Totally unrelated, but your mate Willie has gone quiet this past week.
New 2025 model is same weight as previous models 216kg.The 43mm forks & piggyback shocks & bigger front disc & extra tech must offset the weight of the new aluminum swingarm. Would of been awesome if it was few kg lighter.
That seems to be really nice bike but I would miss the chrome, metal and twin analogue gauges. I don't really think I would need the extra power. As nice as the sound is it will never sound as nice as a 360 degree crank engine. Just my preference I suppose. Cheers BJ
According to Cycle World the new for 2025 Speed Twin 900 is starting at $9995 USD. So tax, license etc. will easily be over $10,000 USD but you can order a bunch of accessories including electronic cruise control, heated grips and a bunch of other stuff. You'd better start putting your money away and checking with the real "house boss" to see if there's any chance.🤑
New Speedtwin 900 in NZ🇳🇿 is same price as older model it says on Triumph NZ website18k nz only $500 less than T100.In NZ the T100 outsells the Speedtwin 900 probably cause it only $500 more as in UK,EU T100 is £1000($1800nz) more. The weight is exactly the same as old model at 216kg although new model has a aluminum swingarm.New model has 43mm forks as old has 41mm. New model has 320mm front disc as old got 310mm.Seat height is higher as it's 1200 Speedtwin style seat at 780mm stock but is a lower seat available at 760mm as old model is 765mm stock seat. Both have 12L tank. Both models still for sale so if like old model look you can still get it. The new 43mm forks, self cancelling indicators would be good to have,The angle ABS & Traction Control & Aluminum swingarm & offset TFT can live without & not a fan of the cutouts in tank but could live with them if bike is 1200RS with Quick Shifter. I prefer older model 900 seat shape as it different from the 1200 model now they look the same. 320mm font disc be good too but with the 4pot Brembo on the 310mm on older model is plenty & the 320mm hopefully on new T100 as that only got a 2pot Brembo. Old model clock is in middle & not having piggyback shocks makes older model look more Classic looking.I am surprised it's the same weight with aluminum swingarm but I guess the bigger forks, bigger front disc & piggyback shocks & extra tech negate weight savings from it.I saw a sneak peak of new model before buying my 2024 model & the new 1200 style seat & new cut outs in tank & piggyback shocks I didn't like & made me not to wait for it & get 2024 model but didn't know about any of the new tech, aluminum swingarm, new forks at that stage but I still would've choosen 2024 model now if getting 900 if getting 1200 would go for 1200RS with Quick Shifter. They handle great & got tall gears being 5speed & plenty of torque & weight feels low & easy to push around & is same weight as Interceptor with full tank but feels alot lighter than Interceptor which is top heavy.
Like to have a go on the Speedtwin 1200RS with Quick Shifter. Speedtwin 900 is 216kg T100 is 228kg & Speedtwin 900 has 4pot Brembo as T100 has 2pot Brembo. I prefer the look of the older model but having self canceling indicators & better suspension be good.New model has 1200 style seat as older model I got has different shape & looks better & differentiate from 1200.
I have the older Street Twin 900, the suspension upgrades and led headlight are good to have but there are not enough upgrades from the older one to make me buy the new one.
I agree & is why I got 2024 model.I also like how the seat on older model looked different from the 1200 Speedtwin now they look the same with same seat.I do like how they put self canceling indicators on new model every bike should have them. The older model seat & no piggyback shocks & clock in middle made bike look more Classic & old school & they're still selling 2024 models.
Great video and a peek at the new Truiumph. Well done TAYM. However ..... the tank colours look awful. Like a kids paint box and even the white panel under the tank is mismatched. What were they thinking of? Who is it aimed at ? I bet it was not designed by an English man. The rest of the bike looks great apart from my general grumble about silly ineffective mudguards. This is the UK where the roads are mucky and wet at least 50% of the time. Oh! Triumph another ship spoiled for a hap-orth of tar. Stylewise the rear shocks and front USD forks are somewhat incongruous. Better to have a modern single suspension unit and dump those piggyback things which will never be as effective. Retro - huh! Modern forks, wheels, tyres, brakes, lights and engine. Skimpy modern mudguards and garish paint. Might as well buy a Royal Enfield. P.S. less than £9000 for an all black tank. The one you are on is an extra ( yes hard to believe that eh? )
"Different spokes for different folks" as they say, I don't like the colour scheme, nor the tank indents, each to their own I guess 😊 The clock looks cheap and its offset position ruins the bikes symetry. Price is going to be a real deciding factor with this new Street twin, especially compared to what Honda are offering with the 1,000cc Hornet. I realise these bikes appeal to different rider's needs, but you can't ignore how well spec'd the Honda is by comparison.
Stunning bike. My Pete absolutely loves his. Had it in my garage last weekend for a coffee 😁😆😅🤣😂. Sounds awesome 👌 .
That Range Rover driver clearly didn't even look left as he came out, you handled it well, I'd have been raging!
Yes, total disregard for other road users, wreckless/careless driving at it's worst. Like you, I'd have been raging and at the very least have made a separate video clearly showing both the driver and the plate number.
At least the driver didn’t whip out and then do 10MPH below the speed limit like usually happens. Still a butt head.
Cracking looking bike Taym. Probably one of the best looking triumphs, especially in that colour.
Enjoyed the ride along buddy , nice clear sky's, roll on spring, cheers
Will ride her, once she's available in Germany. The "old" Street Twin was such a fantastic motorbike. I was in love from the first ride and had her for a couple of miles. Fitted me like a glove.

Awesome bike and video Mr TAYM.
Cheers, I hope everyone is having a great weekend.
I love the colours on the Speed Twin! If you had been a bad boy, that Land Rover might have had you. ride safe my friend.
I am a slightly biased Triumph fan but again, this is a terrific looking and sounding bike from them!
I always enjoy especially on Sunday mornings with my coffee watching ur channel👍👍I haven’t rode a 900 but I love riding my 23 ST1200 I’ve bn n the process of making it my own RS Version.but that 900ST looks fun as well Stay Safe👍👍
I love the colour scheme on the tank. Ideal bike for most situations I would say. I would choose this over the 1200 possibly. Dave N
Thanks for the excellent review. Very interested in this bike. :>)
Gorgeous bike!❤❤

Lucky devil ! marvellous looking and what a sound
£8795 for the black one vs £9595 for the black T100, quite a saving (add a bit more for the Opal Fruits one). I love the sound! Sat on one at the Bike show recently but the seat felt a bit skinny, maybe the comfort seat would help

I felt something move a little, when I saw that bike
Morning TAYM, I was going to say Gulf colours, or have Triumph been looking through old BMW GS brochures for Idea's? 🤔😉
The bike itself looks lovely, the paint job not so. As you know I'm biased towards single colour paint, preferably in a metal flake. I recon the that will date really quickly, I'd be getting out the spray kit 🖌
It’s a great bike, gonna definitely try it out this summer 😊👍
All triumphs should have a belt final drive and hydraulic valve adjustment. Plus they should be made in England.
The price didn’t really go up…will wait till price drops at end of year …definite purchase
Lovely looking machine sounds great and the colour is almost...well gay..😊Thanks TAYM.
Nice looking bike,i had one of the old one's, not sure about the off centre clock 🤔
Hiya TAYM
Nice looking bike and great review
One thing that's puzzled me is I spotted a yellowish orange thing in the sky.....I did see it a while ago up here in North east Scotland but can't remember what it was called
😂😂
Opal Fruits are called Starburst nowadays TAYM.
Cracking looking bike and look forward to see this bike in real life in about 2 weeks as Triumph is on tour in Sweden. Love the color, love the design! Taym getting closer there actually had the oil light low pressure come on have to sort that out with the triumph 😂 always something right ?
The road classic is a superb tire you'll notice a better grip in the rain I have two sets one on the triumph one on the interceptor.
Very similar to the Guzzi V7 Stone with the plastics and engine size, black alloy rims, digital off-center "clock," etc...
A Bonnerville without twin clocks, who'd have thought it.
Makes me a little sad tbh…
The Street 900 Models never had twin clocks
I was looking at the 900 speed twin and was thinking of getting one until I started getting insurance quotes back at over £1100
I'm only paying £350 fully comp for my bike at the moment
That colour scheme might just date, think I will stick with my 2022 Street Twin-same engine, power and torque. Totally unrelated, but your mate Willie has gone quiet this past week.
Slightly higher seat.
New swing arm lighter
Lean sensitive traction control and abs.
New 2025 model is same weight as previous models 216kg.The 43mm forks & piggyback shocks & bigger front disc & extra tech must offset the weight of the new aluminum swingarm.

My OCD would kick in looking at the clock being off centre. The bike does look good but that clock…..why????
A good bike spoilt by the cheap looking front end, bikes this size should have twin brake discs IMO. Like the review, well done.
It’s an old BMW paint job, and “oh the clock doesn’t fit chief”. “Just stick it ont left mate nobody will notice” couldn’t live with that I’m afraid.

Rich men and their play things think they own the road
Looks a nice bike terrible off centre clock which is why I would never buy one , either have an analogue clock or a full round TFT like royal Enfield
1😂
Like to have a go on the Speedtwin 1200RS with Quick Shifter.
Speedtwin 900 is 216kg T100 is 228kg & Speedtwin 900 has 4pot Brembo as T100 has 2pot Brembo.

In this case I much prefer the former vintage look.
The old speed twin 900 looks more retro and don't like this colour scheme.
