It’s not worth it anymore bro. They took away overtime. I won’t be making that much for 2025 and going forward. Everyone is going to leave because they are forcing us to come 6 days a week and the sixth day won’t be OT because they change our days off every week so when payday comes it only shows up as 40 hours. I’m only going to stay for 2 max 3 more years while I attend school and then I’m out. But if you want to work here it’s a chocolate company in American Canyon but I’m warning ⚠️ you. In paramedic school atm, the OT in private EMS can take you over $110-130K. Only downside is working 60-70+ hour workweeks, or maybe two-three 24 hour shifts. Your checks can easily hit 4-5K depending on where you work, and wages in your state.

I did many 2-3 24 hour shifts and the amount of time off was awesome also. Lets also not talk about the small hourly pay I was getting as a wildland firefighter, the OT there is the only thing that got us a decent check and they just approved 15.00 an hour for that job.

Wow...excellent content once again. I'm in IT so I'll share a couple other high paid skills...the first is what I do...Data Development. Data development is one level deeper than Data Analysis. It's almost like software development on the data side. It involves creating the data and/or the structures required to store and retrieve the data. Data Modelers. Data modeling involves creating the blue prints used to create the storage design for business data (kind of like blue prints for a house except it's data). The best way to find these jobs is if you're lucky enough to know people in IT OR establishing relationships with professional IT recruiters. The easiest way to get into the IT jobs is STILL by way of desktop support IF you cannot find your chosen job directly...THEN finding your way to your chosen career path. Often times, these higher level skills being discussed may require some sort of experience because a lot of companies may want their candidate to "hit the job running" (so-to-speak...).

It’s really cool from a tech lovers perspective but really really scary from a salesman perspective because many times customers will take their process to the very end just to not follow through, and this gives us false inquires. The issue with that is ANYONE has access to this. So a teenager who just wants to see the price of their dream car will just go making a bunch of inquiries. I'm an industrial maintenence technician. I'm in the North Alabama area which is booming with work and it has caused a maintenance shortage. There is high demand for maintenance men in my area. There are certificates and even a maintenance degree that our community colleges in the area offer, but plants are getting so desperate theyre offering maintenence apprenticeships which will pay for tuition and you dont need a degree for it.

@tayloranderson616 apprectices and technicians early in their career can expect somewhere between $18-$25/hr depending on the company. Most of the best paying jobs in the area top out around $38-$42/hr... There's even some plants that will take every employee over top out for the life of their career with cost of living raises. It's not common but you can break into the 50s an hour in maintenance in this area, but that requires a lot of time and experience... Most plants offer overtime and that's the pathway to grossing over $100k a year in the field.

In 911 its as you say after OT 70- 80k for emt and 100k+ for medics, im just ball parking it. Stress also plays a big part so choose wisely. And again Its lucrative because of bonuses and OT. I do believe there are still a few places besides the military that will employ you without a license, you are much better off with them. They aren't cheap. I've heard around $30,000 for A&P schooling anymore, but there are also companies that offer apprenticeships.

Going to have to disagree with the web dev. I know persons who went to school for web dev and guess what they're not going. The web dev tools available now make it too easy for anyone to make a page now. I paid a guy like $1400 to make a page for me, but left out that he wanted $250 a month to 'maintain' the page. In other words $250 to hold it hostage. I told him to get lost there was no way I was paying him $250 a month to do nothing, so he pulled the page. Made one myself from Godaddy for free and it turned out dang near just as good. Slapping myself for not doing that to begin with.

i feel like all these depend on location, also some id be weary of for example construction yeah you can make a lot but it destroys your body, also you will probably start off at 12 an hour here in texas and it will be a long time before you see higher pay, sales yeah can make a lot but i you have to find a good product and 2 you will always be on call and probably work mandatory weekends and long hours and every week maybe different pay, same with trucker you will be gone a lot say good bye to social life and family, Most it and data analyst jobs do want degrees you dont need one, im in data and i dont need one but if i want to get the higher paying jobs i do its almost impossible to land a 80k+ job without one.

Great video. While I do agree that most of the IT skills do not require you to have a degree, you do need certifications and some experience to get the high paying roles. I have been in IT for over 22 years and most jobs I have applied for lately, including some of those mentioned in the video, won't even take your resume into consideration without at minimum a Bachelor's degree in addition to the required skills and experience. But still a good video nonetheless!!
