i think one of the best sounding 4cyl engines ive heard is the 2ZZ-GE w/ valve Lift in the celica. It is the most angry roar I've ever heard in a small car.
I love the 2zz and I plan to fit one in A MR-2 last gen when I grow up :D. I am 12

I think the FA20 should of been in there. Sounds like a Evo with an EL header or WRX/STI with a UEL header. Minus the blow off.

Having owned several wrx's/sti, they ALL sound the damn same, it becomes very monotonous, just about every other 4 cyl engine has different tones depending on what material and diameter their exhaust is... not wrexies, all you get is either loud, or quiet, there is no tone change.
Noooo way the 350 and 370 z, as well as the ej25-t should be in top 5 at least!
Terra Power both the 350z and the 370z's are 6 cylinders.
