oh that's cool, there is a spyder GS-T in my shop rn, idk what's wrong with it tho, but it has a full cage and a stripped interior so it's definitely someone's dedicated track car
its also fittet in the mk1 Eclipse and many 90s and 2000s mitsubishis

Not really tunable is it? High compression and turbo doesn't really work well.
my mom's new car has the 2.4L K series With i-VTEC, does that mean i have to buy it off her, manual swap it, then turbo it? it's a 2014 CRV BTW

I have a tuned 03 IS300 Sport Design with a 2JZ and I love this engine!
as soon as I found your channel because of the 2jz swap video I've been subscribed and have had the bell clicked. I've loved every video since broski haha but one of these days I really hope that you feature my fourth generation chevrolet camaro that I'm in the process of installing a 2JZGTE haha it's going to extremely gnarly man haha
also would love your opinion on the 2jzgte vs the 2jzgte haha

I know my TFSI in my 2018 A3 is not jdm but damn just a downpipe and tune from APR got me +80hp and +80tq on a mild torque setting. Can easily do 100hp/100tqbextra

some of the facts are a bit off, like the sr20, they can handle around 500 hp on stock internals and some drag race builds have been over 1400 whp on a stock crank!

what if I get just an EJ without a turbo stock (like an impreza 2.5i) then put a turbo on will it still be good?
Swapping its engine with a turbo ej or getting a turbo impreza in the first place will be faster, more reliable and cost less!

oh and is the 1uz in the ls400 very tunable? I know its really detuned
Well, think about it like this : the turbo motor can be easily found for like a grand or so, and it's already using low compression pistons etc so it's turbo ready, and a remap later and a turbo upgrade could easily take you +60hp. Getting an n/a ej and getting it to the level of a turbo ej would mean you need to change the engine internals etc so that they can sustain the extra strain, otherwise u can only go for a light turbo setup (around 0.4bar) which won't be nor as fast or as reliable as a turbo ej. The 1uz in the ls400, being already forged from factory, you can turbocharge it and go to 550+ whp levels. So either get a 1uz or a turbo-ej imo

Kallum its not a great tuning engine compared to this selection. No doubt it is a great engine but power increase is limited due to it having an old design
ford barra isnt a Japanese motor but its still will make 1100hp on stock internals and is easier to get than any of these motors
So disappointing that ford America never brought it here , the barra is very good engine and makes power easy. Now it's out of production :(
Not it ain’t 😅😂😂 just as expensive as 2jz but also harder to work on and weights as much as ur house 😅😂😂 jz is the way to go
I hate ej motors, they're great on paper but the biggest pain in the ass in real life
