Always good to see new work coming in, each instrument with its own challenges. The varnish matching went well and I'm looking forward to seeing the violin closed up next week. That secretary is magnificent. What an old smoothie Joseph Haydn was! Have a great week!

It is so good to repair these special instruments. Thank you for commenting. I really looked for a maker's mark or signature on the secretary but can't find anything. Hope you have a great week also!

Loved the scarecrows! You really have something with the gorgeous secretary - very nice. Amazing how the repair work pours in from so many different states. Your craftsmanship is awesome and the varnish-matching looks great (that is an art in itself). Thanks for another fun video. Stupidicus.

We sang the Hebrew minute as a chorus way back in the 70s - it's from Nahum 1:7. I've just been studying the sanctuary fortress, or sanctuary of strength in Daniel 11:31, so had to check! Yes, refuge in N 1:7 is the same in Hebrew as sanctuary. Also in D 11:31, the word for defile is the same word for wound in Isaiah 53:5 (Strong's H2490). It's incredible to think about the underlying meaning of it all.

God's Word just keeps giving and giving! It is so wonderful! Have you been to Israel and seen Masada? I envision this place when I think of a fortress now. Thank you for your comments. God bless you.

@@Violinsforu2 Amen. No, would love to go to Israel, but haven't been out of Australia. I have read the historical fiction book, Masada." Have always associated Masada with the pain (inadequate word?) of that story ever since. While not forgetting the past, it's better, as you say, to think of it now as a fortress, an enduring symbol of God's strength.
