The arsenal bar is actually a double that so far I've never seen any bar break down mention. Even the explanation on Rap Genius misses it. Of course you have the literal sense, pulling up with a lot of guns and ammunition, but it also references to an issue where a battle rapper named Shotgun Suge dissed Proof one of Eminem's associates after Proof was murdered. Out of respect for the dead Detroit Rapper and Eminem who was cemented as a Detroit legend, Detroit street legend Trick Trick said Detroit was a no fly zone for anybody associated with Shotgun Suge who is a proclaimed Newark, NJ Grape Street Crip. Shortly following the incident Smack White, a battle rap league owner, announced a Battle Rap event in Detroit which would have midwest battle rappers square off with east coast battle rappers. The situation became tense when popular battle rapper Arsonal was announced on the card. Arsonal was also a self proclaimed Grape Street Crip but, when checking into Detroit, Arsonal denied his association to Shotgun Suge. Arsonal faced Calicoe on the card a Detroit Battle Rapper with generational ties to the street. During the battle Arsonal was rapping about his gang and said his associate "Suge's got that shotgun." Some goons in the audience pressed Arsonal about his association by saying, "I thought you didnt know no shotgun suge" during the confrontation Arsonal asked his on-stage entourage to watch the goons in the crowd.
So now the double-meaning and the irony that Eminem follows the line with "This bar is over your head" which is funny cause many people who dissect bars online or anywhere always seem to miss this connection:
Essentially Arsonal made a way for him and several of his associates to get into Detroit when it was a no fly zone for him after confirming his association to Shotgun.
"Roll up with your gang, you gon' need an Arsonal."
This incident completely ties into the "better hope I don't call Trick Trick, that shit don't fly in our city." Line later in the verse.
Just to show the level of lyrical genius Eminem is operating on.
Arsenal is also a European soccer club whose fans are called gunners

Royce is so underrated man. I know he gets props and respect but he should be up w some greats in terms of skill. I hate when people just attach his success to Em (Who is my fav artist). Realistically I first heard Royce from rock city w/ em but now it’s just his skill that keeps me a huge fan of Royce.
Even though I'm just watching this again a year later, I just wanted to say that Eminem's ability to adapt is so good, he knows how to write a perfect verse for Dre. He captures his personality and delivery perfect. On the reference track for "Crack a Bottle" you hear em rapping Dre's verse and it's perfect.
Ems "juice, battery, charge" scheme in this was one of the craziest I've ever heard! I said for a long time, I felt like Em killed MGK with this track so hard he didn't even need to drop Killshot. Obviously I'm glad he did, bit it was overkill imo.
Not gonna like I've heard this 100 times and never knew what Royce meant when he said "itvance(advance)" so thanks for being the GOAT reactor! 😏

Although I think he missed something here. In Ems hook..."We are not alike, there's nada like us on the mic." ... Wasn't that a spoof of MGK's Wild Boyz?..."Ima wild boy, Ima Ima wild boy." Sounded like a mix of the same beat to me. Just another level where Em is superior.

Concerning TechN9ne - I do believe he didn't notice it. I mean, wasn't it just something like "you all just rap, you're not gods" that MGK said, and on the Kamikaze-interview Em said he didn't even really think it was a diss until MGK repeated that on twitter and said "YOU just rap, you're not God". So I can believe that Tech genuinely didn't think it was meant as a diss, especially not if he wasn't paying attention to social media. Would his team have said something? Hmmm, probably if they'd noticed. But it was really very subtle. Edited to add: not like the diss at Nick Cannon on Fat Joe's track. That, I call bullshit on Joe not noticing ;-)
