    • @akiferensenel7120
      @akiferensenel7120 3 месяца назад

it is not that simple. For examplae if you play king g4 you ahve to calculate king getting in with king e5 after capturing the pawn nad maybe not even pushing your pawn and just going for the b7 pawn and if black is not winning in that position he is loosing and you have to calculate agadmator's line as well imagine white queening before black then you can actually check with qa8+ and king is forced to go to b6-b7-b5 and you pi,ck up the queen as white so it is not that easy in most of the lines if you are not winning you are loosing so its not easy
      to calculate

I was thinking more in the Ke6 line. Black stops White's pawn advance and White has to figure out how to stop Black's f-pawn. When White finally commits his king to stopping said pawn, Black grabs White's c-pawn and goes for the a-file. I didn't work it out, but that was MY instinct. Of course, if that were actually the best square to move the king to, I'm pretty sure someone else would have pointed it out.

What about if kg4 white takes on c5, then after pawn f5 white plays kd4 and the white king has time to get to f1 before the black pawn . And if black would try to prevent the white king from defending against the pawn he would be required to put his king on the f file blocking his pawn in which case white just pushes his pawn and would promote sooner than black.

2nd: I believe Wesley is still the classical WFRCC while Hikaru is just the rapid WFRCC.
    Q1
Why weren't the 'slow rapid' games in the 2019 wfrcc considered classical when they are 60min games and the minimum for classical is 60min?
    Q2
Why are the 2022 WFRCC games considered 'slow rapid', as in the same category for the 2019 wfrcc 60min games, when they are actually 32.5min games?
    What I understand is
    (0,10) = Blitz
    [10,60) = rapid
[60,120) = classical but unrated if so and so conditions
    [120,infinity) = classical

Whoever wins the candidates will be the world chess champion.... Obviously, Ding isn't about to play his prep for it now, but he doesn't have it in him... Nepo CHOKED terribly... the candidates might as well be the Championship.

Uhm... what? How does a GM like Vincent mess up that king move? Even to my 1450 lizard brain without any calculation it seems like it's the much better option for the king to be next to the pawns and ready to start capturing instead of being two tempi away from it. What's the king on e4 supposed to be doing? Shield away the white king? I don't see the point from a logical standpoint even without any further calculations. Even before Agad said that's the pause the video I was by default thinking "kg4" and when Agad made this the pause the video, I was like "wait, holdup, so it must be another move then, that's too obvious" and started looking

Have you even seen Ding play in 2018,19 and the initial part of 2020..He had emerged as the single favourite player to challenge Carlsen across all 3 formats..Fabi might have been good in Classical but he was not as good in shorter time formats..Magnus said so himself..Sure, Ding slowed down post COVID...but he is still there.. maybe he just needs to get some matches under his belt..

most natural for me and many another players was, the mistake, ke4 (center) .. ding can hold this because pawn on a4 (cover b5) without this, keymer win this ....

Gukesh would have won this endgame blindfolded … that is what is missing in Vincent … like Neponiatchtchi , Vincent is too fast on critical moves that blunders the WIN, and sometimes the game
