First NBA game I ever went to was in the old Oakland colosseum when the 08' Celtics played the Warriors during the next season. The Celtics were on a win streak, were dominating with the big 3 that year, and were title favs. Baron Davis hit a buzzer beater game winner fadeaway 2 from the elbow in Tony Allen's face to ice the game. Met Baron Davis at one of Games cd release party's at this club called SNATCH on sunset blvd. Dude was cool AF!! All love no hate to me or any of the homies that were with me that night IYKYK. B, if you see this, it was the night that Game got into it with club security guards right after he threw out Von Dutch hats to the croud and performed a song. Crazy night, I found his Nextel 860 in the hallway. So many famous peoples numbers in there it was crazy.

I live in one of the most racist states in America and i’m constantly asking people why they’re so sure of their worldviewhm having not lived outside of an affordable well employed rural and suburban area in the middle of one country on a planet full of very very different experiences.
So true. I have cousins that live in South Central LA and some haven’t left their zip code. I’m a military brat born in Alaska and raised in Texas. By the time I was 18 I had been to over 20 states. Joined the military at 19 and by 22 had been to over 30 states and 5 countries. They say I act weird but it’s just the really bad environment they live in. Their world view is so warped is honestly kind of sad.

Let's be real, using the term "legendary run" is comical.
There's no set definition for a playoff "run", but for damn sure it must be winning more than 1 round. If you win 2 rounds, you're now in the conference finals. Logically, the term only makes sense when its "making a run to the conference finals" or "made a run to the finals".
It is definitely a legendary first round upset, but the upset along is the only reason anyone talks about the team. Outside of that one series, they would never be mentioned when recalling NBA history.
From 2000-2010 the 42 wins they had in 07 are the fewest of any Western Conference playoff team, while there were multiple seasons where 50 wins was the minimum required.
Better to say they were an underdog team that captured the hearts and imagination of the basketball world during a legendary 1 seed vs 8 seed playoff upset.

I listened to the whole show and didn’t really learn anything about the game and didn’t even know who they played in the series till almost an hour in. I like Jules though so I’ll keep listening but production is a bit of a mess.
It’s tough because the Ernie, Ty Law & Cooper Kupp episodes were sooooo good and this one felt all over the place. This wasn’t a bad one necessarily, I just don’t follow the NBA close enough and prefer the deep football convo.

Barron was so good. If he had todays style. All that space. He had the pull up 3 the crazy handle & vision & dunked on ppl he’d be a top max 200 mill 300 mill guy. Without those nagging injuries his 3rd 4th year then finding out ther were moving to charlotte I would of wanted out to he played all 82 games in year 2 & year 3. Beating the Heat. He took out Iverson & Tracy McGrady. The vets were always just too good. The Celtics made 1 of those Jkidd Nets ECF carried by Paul pierce.

Don’t let Baron speak These lies. The Tuck rule game absolutely had replay. It was originally called the fumble and went to replay and was changed to an incomplete pass. Also for any raiders fans about to say it’s a fumble. Go look at the verbiage of the tuck rule. If you were to explain what happened to Tom Brady on that play to a blind man, you would be reading the tuck rule right out of the rule book
