The rams are gonna be a problem this year in the NFC they were on fire the last 6 games of the season and just on a role beating everyone and damn near beat Detroit and could’ve easily went to the NFC championship to compete against the 49ers and could’ve went toe to toe with them. The Rams are getting overlooked this upcoming season and I wouldn’t be surprised if they make a deep run the playoffs this year and win the division
@@kylerschellingthat’s what I’m saying! He done it the best coaches to this day and he knows how to contend every year and find ways to win and make good runs. Rams are gonna be a problem
Well I think he’s much more athletic then people give him credit for. But yes kinda like a Brady in the sense of either it to it was perfected. Not a Brady fan at all though; not so I think he’s the goat. Lol but that’s another story.
This was honestly cool just to hear all the detail about route running and positioning for WRs. It was like an in-depth masterclass from two really high level players
I know the 49ers are still gonna be really good this year but I don’t think people realize how much of a problem the Rams are gonna be this year. They were on fire winning their last 6-7 games last year and had they beat Detroit they could’ve probably beat the 49ers in the NFC championship game. If the Rams stay healthy they’re going to be a problem this year in the NFC
As a Rams fan my prayer is the moment Kupp retires Mcvay hires him to the coaching staff. If/when Yarbs leaves, Cooper is the Rams future WR coach and probably more.
@@andrewortiz3498 I can't remember what interview it was in but Big Whit said he has absolutely no desire to be a coach. Things may change but I think he is happy with his broadcasting and community work.
Edelman !! Your route running was unreal ... When you juked out Aqib Talib and then caught that catch I got so excited and fired up during that superbowl .... I love how you are in broadcasting and now Gronk and Brady are in it as well .... That is awesome !!
Hi Jules and team I just want to send a big hug and thank you from me, my son and my entire family. I just recently completed a 30 day substance abuse treatment program and have been sober since last weekend-easter weekend of March. This included a hellacious opioid detox and withdrawal to Kickstart the treatment. I watched your episodes all throughout and can't imagine making it without the pod. especially that first initial detox withdrawal stage where looking back now it's like you and Matthew Slater were there with me. So thank you for helping me and my family in ways you might not have known. Keep it going! -Fran R.G.
Woke up early, grabbed my laptop (mistake), saw Cooper and will now be tired at work all day. So much fun to hear 2 guys that played at your level talk shop.
Good interview. I always have liked Kupp as a Rams fan. He runs such good routes. He came from a 3rd round pick to work his way to one of the best in the league. He reminds me of Torry Holt a lot. I hope he is healthy this year and puts up big numbers.
Absolutely amazing episode!! I love when you and the guests simply just shoot the S$¡t together but I really really enjoy the X’s and O’s talk. Great work from the whole team that put this show together
Can you imagine Jules & Cupp playing side by side together in their prime?! Be a graveyard of db’s …. 2 of the most detailed, dialed in route runners of our era 👑👑
JUST an opinion please poll the comments !! BUT I enjoyed the screen in the middle that popped up while Kupp was explaining the WOODS catch to the sidelines early into the interview. Having that visual aid is AWESOME !! And it happens a lot so if that could be entered a bit more I would enjoy it --------doing a GREAT job by the way , Love the show , keep up the great work .
I always give Julian Edelman credit because he was very smart with everything he did. He was smart enough to realize that short term gain didn't always produce. He didn't make the most money playing football, and I'm sure he was upset sometimes and felt disrespected, but now it's paying off because he's making money after football and some of these players who had the hissy fits and had to move teams are not making.
Yup, all those wins add up when your career is over, people tend to be interested in athletes who were great. It's fun seeing so many former Patriots in the media now, that's what success can give you when your playing days are over.
As an Eagles fan I love this podcast and I love Julian nothing but respect for the patriots dynasty and to Jules man! Hopefully u can get my Eagles like Jalen, Devonta, AJ, Kelce ✊🏻🦅
I initially thought that too, but it's Super Bowl XXXVI - the start of the dynasty & their first super bowl win in 2002 [culmination of 2001 season], several years before Jules was drafted.
Funny story.....Prior to this game my second son was at Navy Bootcamp and made friends with a kid from Louisiana. My kid was the MVP of mail day and got so many letters it pissed off other sailers. My kid was so proud to get all the love and to be the guy getting the most mail but I asked him if there were any kids not getting any mail and he told me that his bunk mate from Louisana was not getting any mail. I started writing letters to this kid so that he got letters and I find out that he is a 49ers fan. The letters quickly turned into half motivational content and then half 49sers shit talk. Fast forward to the NFC championship game and after the game when Deebo sat there on the sidelines crying his eyes out. I cut and pasted a picture of Deebo crying his eyes into the next letter to this kid trying to get through Navy bootcamp and put a caption below that read " is this what you look like late at night when you cry yourself to sleep at night". This kid gets this letter and reads it at his bunk next to my kid and looks at my kid and says "your dad is cold man"
Their description of the difference between tom and Mathew in off season work showed the difference in their mentality. You Tom was focused on creating muscle memory out of the highest leverage moments.
Loving the videos, Jules! Question, do you have the rights play NFL clips? Would be great as we are following along to watch the videos/clips of the plays in question.
They seem to be able to include them in the shorts (annoying to have to watch those as well, but it's that or search RUclips for the relevant highlight).

Eastern Washington (not the school) puts out some good damn ball players. There arent many just due to us being so small but we make ball players out here.
I think cooper kupp’s honest player comp was Robert Woods I feel like they both did the same thing at times. Kupp has that rac ability that’s different though
Lol Robert’s Woods never even lead the nfl in one stat let alone become a triple crown winner leading in TD’s, Yards, and Receptions. Kupp is a 1 of 1. Quit comparing and appreciate the greatness. Shitty and retarded comparison.

Steve Smith Sr's favorite WR coming out of his draft class. This dude got his seal of approval by him way early before that draft.
