    18:02 the matchup itself shouldn’t have been a home game, if that’s what Sam is implying. The matchup of Ravens @ Broncos was already set from the previous year. The Ravens still got 8 home and 8 away in 2013. They just made em play one of their road games to start the season instead of the tradition of the SB champ kicking off the season at home, bc of that Orioles conflict.

    As a lifelong Pat's fan during the Rivalry with Peyton Manning I couldn't stand him even though we dominated Manning until he got to Denver, historically the Patriots never played well in Denver. With that said now the time has gone by I appreciate Peyton Manning he is on my Mount Rushmore and we will never see another rivalry Brady V Manning! Those games we're always must see TV and I couldn't wait to watch it we were so lucky to watch those two guys in the NFL has not been the same without them! As far as Eli Manning goes yes he did beat us in two Super Bowls but that is his only claim to fame! When you look at his overall resume it's not Hall of Fame Worthy he was an average Quarterback unlike his brother! And when I look at Manning and Brady compared to today they were putting up those big numbers when you had vicious defenses like the Baltimore Ravens it was a completely different game then today!

  • @buddysteele7624
    @buddysteele7624 7 дней назад +1

    Of all the games Manning could’ve chosen for this podcast, the fact that he chose a meaningless regular season game where he threw 7 TDs tells us exactly why he isn’t Brady. Brady would never ever choose a regular season personal stat game as a “game that stood out and should be analyzed” are you kidding me

    Doing the Mount Rushmore of quarterbacks Obviously Tom sits at the top #1 alone. After Tom I would have to say Peyton Manning. If you look at his entire career like Tom he was a field General there was nothing he couldn't do! Every season the guy won 12 to 13 games and always put up big numbers and was essentially the offensive coordinator I think Joe Montana was great obviously but his football IQ and career consistency was second tier compared to Brady & Manning. Also Joe Montana did not have to worry about the salary cap era like these guys so he did not have to deal with much change. Not taking anything away from Joe he obviously is still in the top five but really looking over everything I have Peyton Manning at number two complete career. He also managed to make it to 4 Superbowls winning 2x! The Patriots owned the AFC for two decades and for Manning to make it to 4 Superbowls during our run is impressive! No team in the AFC even came close to that during our 20 year run and that counts for something. The Steelers & Ravens made it past us two times and the year the Steelers did it was the year Brady was out. Manning is the only quarterback 2 lead his team to 4x Super Bowls during our Dynasty run. Who knows how many more Super Bowls Peyton Manning would have led his team to if not going up against the greatest Dynasty the greatest head coach and the greatest quarterback in NFL history. So those four when put into context really shows how great Peyton was! But thankfully overall we dominated that had to head matchup!
