    I remember running into Noah in NYC tryna get into a club. I was the only person who recognized himwalking by, he saw me see him and just put a finger to his mouth to signal not to say anything 😂 I just nodded and acknowledged him with a thumbs up haha. He was playing for the Knicks at the time. I was surprised no one noticed a man that tall but he had a Hoodie on so I guess people just assumed he was a random giant man 😂 Glad to see he's doing well

      I was a Detroit Pistons fan, and I never seen that heart since Ben Wallace on the Pistons.
      I always had respect for Chicago's team in that era. Unbelievable the injuries or whatever caused you
      guys to literally lose probably 2 titles you never got......but should've.

    Kirk Hinrich would be an interesting listen. Gone through so many bulls rosters, ‘03 draft class, Ben Gordon, losing his spot to DRose, ‘09 playoffs, fights with rondo, leaving and returning to the bulls and still not getting over the hump.. I don’t know lol sounds like it would be interesting

      When Noah was in College, I didn't like him at all. I said, "I HOPE the Bulls don't get him". As you see, my wish didn't come true. But 8 years ago, I said "DeMar will come to the Bulls". I need to make some predictions for MLB. (grunt)

    Joakim was a great Basketball player. When I was young I saw his father on a practice court in Miami. Yannick Noah was probably one of the best athletes I saw in person. The way he ran and jumped was amazing. Looked like he was flying on the tennis court.

      Used to run a bar in Gainesville he came to often. He was always nice, smiling large, and having a good time.
      Never bought less than 10 shots at a time (appreciated his friends) & Always Tipped well (good to strangers).
      Side Note: Back to Back to Back Championships that year at UF (football & basketball) kind of does that to people. I can’t begin to describe the feeling in that town other than to say it was truly magical and damn nearly everyone was in a similar vibe to Joakim’s natural dudeness.

    first time seeing the podcast. Enjoyed quite a bit. Noah was always an Enigma for me as a fan. He got on my nerves and this and that and then all the sudden I realized something. He is the WORM.     I remember this whole episode cuz I used to post religiously on sports message boards at the time, the narrative that was developing was that he was immature, a bust in the making, waste of a draft pick etc. My argument in his defense back then was that he was limited offensively but his presence in the lineup had a noticeable impact on the game, safe to say that was a minority opinion. Obviously he went on to prove himself, he was a huge part of those Rose-era Bulls teams - Bulls fans love the guy.

    As a Heat fan that Bulls team with MVP Rose was special. Sometimes I wish we got to see them in the Finals in ‘11 instead of that stinker we had against the Mav’s. Hated them but respected them too.

    Joakims shot was hard to watch. A professional basketball player whose shot spun sideways. Only shot harder to watch was Bill Cartwright's.

    I remember about 12 years ago there was an interview with Noah talking about education and academia. He said while at Florida the better he played the more he skipped classes. Like it was ok as long as you play well. I guess if he wasn’t very good on the court he would’ve gone to all his classes, hell it was so bizarre.
